Courses are ABT & IPHM Accredited providing recognised qualifications. We have 6 centres nationwide, as our permanent & exclusive training Academies. We do not operate from salon back rooms, hotels or conference suites! Our friendly tutors are all fully qualified Beauty Therapists & Educators, with vast experience. Courses are non-brand specific, so you’re not tied to expensive products brands once qualified. Fabulous
The Skincare and Facial Massage course was so interesting. This was my first time ever entering the beauty world, and the tutor was so kind and welcoming. The facilities and space were fantastic. I liked that we got the course notes before the date of the course to read through, and then on the day we went through essentials and also had a large amount of practical learning with the chance to practice giving facial treatments. As well as the content of the treatment, we were also given so many tips and advice on stuff about setting up your own practice. The tutor Rachel was absolutely lovely and very very good at her job. She was a great role model in how to act as a professional in the beauty industry and I loved how she went out of her way to compliment each one of us by saying something positive about our appearance. Her teaching approach was sensitive, she was full of knowledge she shared and she was very good with managing the group in a humourous and nurturing way. Very inspiring lady.

Brilliant Course
I have just finished a four day nail technician course with Rachel. The course was great fun and very informative. A lot more to nails than I thought. Rachel is a great tutor both professional and fun. No question is deemed a silly question. Rachel takes time to get to know her pupils and to engage, making the experience a really good one. Many of her students are returning ones and I believe are rebooking because of her. Asking why certain courses are not held at Cambridge. I would say definitely book. You won't be disappointed. I met some lovely people and I hope we all succeed in our new venture.

Acrylic Nail extensions (Very Happy)
I completed an acrylic nail extension course at the Cambridge centre. The course from start to finish was enjoyable. Rachel was very welcoming and very friendly and it was nice that there was only one other person learning in the class. I now feel happy to go and practice what I learned on live models and believe I will be able to start my business up soon. I was also very grateful for all the information they supply in terms of where to buy products and how to gain insurance which is very helpful.

Great Experience
I have just completed my second course at the Beauty Academy in Cambridge. Rachel being my tutor for both. The first course was manicure and pedicure, the second UV gel nail extensions and I have two more to go. Rachel is both very professional and approachable. The courses have been great fun and informative. A lot more to nails than I thought. Lovely ladies to learn with on both days. A great environment, very friendly and relaxed. You can ask as many questions as you like without feeling silly or a bother. Highly recommend and I am looking forward to my next two training days. Thank you Rachel and classmates.

Knowledgeable and in depth training
Knowledgeable and in depth training, I felt I was equipped with everything I need to move forward in massage. Rachel was an absolute delight to be taught by and I would love to do more courses at the academy in the future! Thank you! :-)

Cambridge centre Facial
I had the BEST day at the Cambridge centre doing the Facial course with tutor-Rachel.
It was so worth the money.
All tutors I’ve had so far at the beauty academy have been amazing.
Rachel is an amazing teacher with lots of experience in the industry, she’s so kind relaxed and easy to talk to regarding any questions you may have.
I can’t recommend the courses at the beauty academy enough.
I can’t wait to do many more courses at Cambridge beauty academy x

Poor quality of trainings for such price
The lash tinting part was ok, clearly explained, but the brows part was not informative, some information was missed to tell until you ask about it yourself most probably, because lamination and this training were connected together and some girls which participated were trained for the brow shaping part before, but then beginners and advanced trainees should be separated
The brow lamination course was showed step by step, but I would say that it was lack of attention from the trainer how the others are working as the result of lamination then the brows are not in the right position and uneven brows after the waxing should not be the aim of the trainer. Lack of competence or experience from trainer. Email with my feedback was also sent to provided company email, but no feedback was received.

It is clear when booking that this course runs in two halves with the morning covering the brow lamination process and then this being built upon in the afternoon to cover the brow shaping and tinting aspects. We welcome students from all backgrounds and levels of beauty experience, however the course is aimed at beginners and we cover all aspects of the theory and practical skills from scratch as part of this course to ensure all students have the same opportunity to achieve complete confidence within the treatment skills. Do bear in mind that for the majority of students this will be their first opportunity ever putting these skills into practice and this is a learning environment, so while tutors thoroughly supervise and guide students during practical to ensure utmost safety, the very first treatment result achieved on the course for each student may not necessarily immediately reflect what you might consider a professional result for a brow lamination service as you might expect to receive from an experienced brow technician as a paying client in a salon, and this allows our tutors to work with individual students to give feedback on perfecting their techniques for further treatments.
We provide a comprehensive course manual also for pre- and post- course additional study. We also have an expert in-house support team who are always happy to assist our students during training courses and beyond with any questions or feedback on treatments as required. I cannot see that our team have received any contact from you to request any additional support.
On our training courses, our tutors supervise all students to ensure they receive guidance and feedback throughout, with ample opportunity ask any questions or seek additional demos or guidance on the day as it arises on a one to one basis as we operate with small class sizes (certainly much smaller than most other private training providers or further education colleges). Our tutors are all highly experienced and qualified beauty and teaching professionals, many have worked with us for decades and all tutors receive regular training and feedback from our management team to ensure they are delivering the highest standards of training, working against our lesson plans to ensure every course covers all aspects detailed in the course outline on our website. Our courses are validated by our accrediting partners to ensure they meet the highest professional standards of training. Our courses are also very competitively priced given the small class sizes and that we operate only from our own permanent, highly equipped and exclusive training centres (not hotel or conference rooms like many providers). We use only qualified staff and all courses provide an accredited and fully insurable qualification on completion.

Acrylic course Cambridge
I went for a 1 day Acrylic course in Cambridge on the 30/03/2022. It was amazing, I really enjoyed it and felt like I got all the knowledge I needed. The tutor was lovely and explained everything so well. I love how I got the course documents before so I could read through everything and then in the day we did a bit of theory but mostly practical. I can’t recommend this course/company enough! Can’t wait to see what I can do next.
