I ordered two books, one for each grandfather for Father's Day. Neither arrived. Not on time and not at all. It is a cool idea, but I am convinced it is a scam. I am going to get in touch with PayPal and try to get my money back.

Absolute horrible service from the "that cove" team . I didnt realize you are not a local company and my order will not arrive before this persons birthday rendering it useless . I tried canceling my order less than 24hrs after it was placed and before my order had been processed or sent , to be told they won't cancel and refund my money but once the book has traveled from the usa to New zealand that i am able to send it back for a refund . What a joke when it hasn't even left your warehouse yet .
These guys are also twice the price ordering direct from the manufacturer than they are selling for at my local book store . Will be contacting my bank asap for a tracsaction reversal .
Otherwise I hope your pages are soft because I will be wiping my butt with them for the next few weeks .

I ordered 2 books, one for my mum and one for my mother in-law for mothers day. I received two books but one was a father one (i have no father to give this to).
I emailed them straight away and they said i have to pay for the postage to return the book even though it was their mistake.

I could understand if it was a change of mind ect but when a store makes a mistake they should take full responsibility for that mistake and offer a refund.

With shipping, I paid 70.00 for this Father's Day gift. When the "book" came, it was 5 mm thick, paperback, the size of a pamphlet, and the "prompt" cards are repetitive and unimaginative. I can't believe I paid 70.00 for this. Lesson learned. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

Product is not to hat I wanted, but the refund proces was perfect!

I ordered two books from Cove; one for my mom and one for my dad! My parents greatly appreciated the prompts inside the book, which helped them get the juices flowing. Large text and font so it's easy and digestible for them to tackle! My dad's book was delivered damaged, but Cove was quick to replace the item, which I appreciated. So far, I have no complaints!

Bought my Father’s Day present on June 12th and received an email on June 17th saying that the cove is “PLEASED” to inform me my order will arrive in 7-9 business days. When I asked to return the products and refund me, I was told that the package must be delivered and sent back for a refund. I do not live in the same state as my father - now my father gets to run an errand to return this trash company’s products. Thanks for the WONDERFUL Father’s Day experience THAT COVE.

Do not order from this place. The books are filled with grammatical errors and nonsensical questions. My parents think they're joke books when it was meant to be a meaningful gift. It really sucks, but I guess I learned my lesson for jumping on a gift without researching.
TheCove advertises a 30 day money back guarantee - but orders are shipped from China and you will not receive it in 30 days and even if you do, YOU are responsible for paying return shipping and will have to wait until to going back to China and processed and received before you ever see a refund.

This place is a straight up SCAM. Do not give them your money.

While some of the questions or prompts are thought provoking, the lack of even acceptable grammar and misspellings make it seem cheap and degrades the value of the gift. Straight from China.

Very good quality product! Accidentally ordered the wrong one but they were quick to respond through email to help with any questions or concerns.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I never write reviews, especially on trust pilot but feel it is necessary to help prevent anyone else from buying from this place, especially considering their pushing of instagram ads left and right. First off, their website says they are based in Wyoming, but that’s NOT TRUE AT ALL. As soon as I placed my order, I was notified it was an international charge and it was coming from China. As soon as I saw this, I tried to cancel it (within 45 mins of purchase). I even sent the proof it had not shipped yet, but despite multiple follow ups and them sending me an acknowledgement of receiving my email and that they were looking into it, 2 days later I receive notification the product shipped. Only after that did they respond to me telling me they could not cancel it bc it’s already been shipped. They said I could return it if I want, but would have to pay for shipped and handling myself to get it back to them in China… which would be more than the item itself, which I think is their strategy. I also took a closer look at these Trust Pilot reviews and many seem to be fake. Most of the individuals have never reviewed anything else, and all write in the exact same style, using the same language, very robotic and polished. I also dug further into the reviews on their website and those are mostly fake as well. I know this because the product I purchased is a journal and the reviews say things like “this product is reliable and performs flawlessly”, which makes no sense given it’s a JOURNAL. There are so many reviews like this. I did finally receive the product and unsurprisingly, there are so many typos in it, it’s embarrassing. Misspelled words, missing punctuation, grammar that makes no sense whatsoever. There are other shops that make similar products, made in America, please do not buy from here and buy from those instead. Do not trust this company.

I ordered a Father’s Day journal from this site at the end of April, and it never arrived. Today is Father’s Day—and I now have to scramble to find something to give because they failed to deliver. I reached out to customer support multiple times and never received a single response. This feels like a scam. They took my money and completely ghosted me. I would not recommend ordering from here unless you want to be disappointed and ignored.

This place is clearly a scam, and i fell for it. You can get the books cheaper and way faster on amazon. I was promised on their advertisement on Facebook that the book would arrive by fathers day. Now they are saying they will only give a refund if it is delivered after 15 working days. Do not buy from this place.

This is a dupe from Jeffrey Mason’s book and it is riddled with spelling & grammatical errors. They also charge 3 times what the original book costs! Do not buy from That Cove!!

Due to the rush around mothers day, my package arrived too late, so I wanted to return it. To return something, you have to email the customer support. You can not just register your product for return and ship it. However, the customer support of ThatCove was immaculate! They answered all of my questions clearly and guided me very well through the process. And when returning did not work out for me in the end, they kindly offered me a partial refund. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

I purchased this to take with me when we visit my great grandmother who is almost 100. It gives us something to talk about rather than turning on the tv every time. We only get through a couple pages each time because she has so much to say :)

Extremely slow shipping. Slower customer response time. Still waiting, been almost 3 weeks since order. Arrived late, tried to cancel, they couldn't. So trying to figure out how to return. Been 8 days and 3 emails to company. Waiting 1 more day then calling credit card company with all emails sent and disputing charge.

The website states that it is from the U.S. Within 24 hours of purchasing, I got an email stating that my item would already be arriving late. I received it four weeks after purchase. The pictures show hardback books. I received one hardback and two paper backs. I looked all over their website to see if it stated that they were not as pictured and I would be receiving paperback and nothing on the website stated this. After emailing them, they got back to me very quickly. The email stated that they were sorry that I was misled and that they were in the process of creating all hardbacks but have not done so yet. I told them that they should not be showing hardback books on their website if I was not going to be receiving it. They told me I could send it back for a full refund. Upon requesting a shipping label, they told me that I had to send it to “said address” and pay for shipping to have it returned. The address was in China and the shipping was as much as the books. I was definitely not going to pay for return shipping for an item that was advertised incorrectly. I filed a false advertisement with my credit card company and won the dispute and tossed the books in the trash because they were all grammatically incorrect.

This company is unprofessional and extremely overpriced. I paid a total of 50 something dollars for a mom book and dad book, and found the exact same books on Amazon for way cheaper. I didn’t get my package until 14 days later, which prevented me from being able to adhere to the return policy of within 14 days. Which I needed to return it because they sent me the wrong book than what I ordered. In short: this company sucks, just go to Amazon and find your product there at a better price point.

Order has taken over 1 month to come in despite paying for shipping and being guaranteed "4-12 business days"
