I recently received an unsolicited letter via the U.S. Mail with a TGS Insurance Agency return address and with HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE RENEWAL NOTICE in boldface on the front of the envelope.

The letter included an official-looking, itemized form which led off with "Your new policy premium: $2279."

Only a careful reading of the enclosed cover letter hinted that this unsolicited notice was NOT from my actual homeowner’s insurance company.

A company that is willing to stoop to such deceptive business practices is not to be trusted.

Talk about a shyster company!
I received a flyer in the mail for home insurance with all of my home details listed.
The name listed at the bottom of the flyer does not exist.
I gave all of my information to Frank Stone and he promised that I would receive an email and a phone call with some quotes on my home.
Called back three times being placed on hold over 10 minutes . Bye bye

Beware of severe negligence, high prices and surprise fees when buying home and car insurance from them.

We explicitly told our TGS agent we already had active insurance for a few more days, but the agent rushed to bind our new policy immediately, creating an overlap.

When we caught the error two days later, bought another insurance about 40% cheaper than TGS price and submitted a written cancellation request, TGS delayed processing it for 6 DAYS. Orchid Insurance (the carrier) confirmed to us on a recorded call that they had to ask TGS for our cancellation documents 10 separate times, and that TGS's delay is the only reason we were hit with severe cancellation and inspection penalties. TGS even ignored our written instructions NOT to do an inspection and we were charged for it anyway.

We spent 5 months trying to get our 3.6k+, had to go directly to Progressive to fix a refund TGS messed up on our auto policy
directly, but TGS management only partially refunded our home insurance and now is refusing to secure the full refund and blaming us, so we are still out almost $400.

We had a final conversation with the manager today and he confirmed that's the most he could do for us, so we have now filed formal complaints with the Florida Department of Financial Services and the BBB.

I don't think anyone has an option to deal with this company unless they want to loose money, emotional well-being and time.

Probably one of the worst insurance agents I have ever dealt with. Was communicative enough when I was looking to buy a policy but once I paid? He became completely useless and disappeared. Took weeks and constant contact from me to correct a billing address issue. I ended up having to contact the insurance carrier myself to correct the error HE made. The paperwork to complete the sign-up? Never completed. I signed my portion of the docu-sign, he never completed the agent portion so I never got a completely executed document.

I have LITERALLY never spoken to this man beyond the time I paid. Once payment went through he became inaccessible. Always claiming to call you back through his proxies, “Frank will call you back” here we are 3 months in, no call back EVER.

He put the wrong descriptions of my property in the initial quote to get a cheaper quote but once it was sent to underwriting, after I paid my first installment, my rate jumped. I was told by the carrier’s agent that it’s possible Frank Stone entered wrong information with the hopes that the underwriters wouldn’t notice because the descriptions he entered made no sense, my rate was guaranteed to go up once it reached underwriting. So he will fudge details to make a sale.

Now we’re trying to correct the BS he did. I spoke with other agents and they’re like, “your agent should be helping you with that.” Well, he dropped off the face of the earth once he got paid his agent fee.

This guy is a fraud and everything wrong with the insurance world. A classic con artist, takes your money and disappears. Work with him at your own risk. I have reached out to other agencies and will be canceling my policy.

TGS Agent Anand Kalkat was by far the best Insurance Agent I have ever worked with - and I have worked with many of them over the years! Anand was extremely knowledgeable and he explained everything in thorough, yet simple terms. I researched a lot of Agency's and what they offered and TGS got me the best quote! I highly recommend TGS, especially Anand, and it is nice to know that excellent customer service is out there if you look hard enough!

I called and talked to TGS agent Maximiliano Siguenza 11/5/25 about I received a non-renewal notice from Swyfft. we found out my previous TGS agent Joshua Lopez failed to take care Swyfft underwriter’s requirement. So, I worked with Maxi for a home policy. I tried to get a quote I like from him. However, he disregarded my phone call, email and text messages. Finally, he set up an appt to call me 12/8/25 at 10 am, He never did call. I have no alternative but purchased a policy with New Day Insurance Agency. After I purchased the policy, I sent an email to TGS Maxi, asked him to cancel my present Swyfft policy, I got no reply from him, the bottom line is TGS is an agency of no customer services. They do not care and failed to handle their client’s interest. I recommended New Day Insurance

This company sold me a worthless high deductible policy. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY.

Levi of TGS insurance signed me up for an auto insurance policy for Progressive. I am a cae giver for my parents who do not drive, no driver's license but were still charged as drivers. I called Levi over the course of 2 weeks and he never called me back. I called progressive and worked out a deal myself, but the policy is still higher than negotiated by Levi. Never will deal with TGS agency again

I received a quote in the mail for Homeowners policy for $1897 yrly. However when I called, the quote changed to over $3000 yrly. The reasons I got were fabricated; saying insurance history inwhich I have not had any loses in over 5 yrs. Then the mailed quote was generated over 3 months ago, and mailed out recently. False advertisement to get me to call them.

Be careful with their FALSE MARKETING!!

As my HO insurance is coming up for review, I received 2 marketing quotes (1 via mail and other via email). Since both were considerably less for the same coverage than my current insurer, I contacted them by phone. Once I had an agent on the phone and after more than 30 minutes of figuring this and figuring that, the agent came back with a quote 2 to 3 times what the marketing pieces had "offered".

If I could give them -5 stars, I would. My high-end car was vandalized, and they’ve done absolutely nothing to help me. This is hands-down the worst customer experience I’ve ever had.

I’ve fired them and I’m ditching Progressive too—the company they pushed on me—because they’re trying to stick me with a used window for my brand-new Corvette.

The agency also failed to honor my policy change when I added my new car for the exact same coverage as the one I removed. Instead, they claimed they had to “investigate” my phone call, saying it would take 24–48 hours. Now they say it won’t be resolved until next week, leaving me with one car I can’t even use because my husband needs it.

They’re untrustworthy liars who clearly don’t care about their customers. I’ve felt nothing but frustration and stress since the moment I called them. Stay far, far away from this agency.

Read 7 reviews half said tgs is a scam and the other half said c service handled paperwork . How would you access them in a time of need? Would tgs be there.

Started with my insurance would expire soon (policy reneeed over a month ago) and wend down from there Would not deal with these idiots if only insurance available. A complete jumble of incorrect info

Just got the mail. Double window envelope with "HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE RENEWAL NOTICE" in bold print between the windows. Obviously an attempt to make you think this came from your actual insurance company. If they can be this deceptive to get your business, imagine what will happen when you file a claim.

Iris was helpful, friendly and took the time to solve my issue! I've been with TGS for years now and it's because of agents like him who go the extra mile to make sure my questions are answered and I get the help I need. I'll never use another company again!!

Anand Kalkat was absolutely awesome. Very patient and kind. He answered all of my questions thoroughly. I highly recommend this company!
