Cancelled 2 contracts within cooling…

Cancelled 2 contracts within cooling off period was told once back would get refund straight away
Phoned to chase it was told 3 to 5 days had to phone again told again 3 to 5 days and a 3rd time same
Phoned again 4th time promised would be yet again 3 to 5 days
They take money but won't pay back
Now don't know next step

Went to Tesco phone shop in Port Talbot…

Went to Tesco phone shop in Port Talbot today to buy a new phone. I'd been dreading it as I don't like change, but I was put at ease by a lovely young man called Ollie. He did the whole thing for me and I came away a happy old lady with with a fully working new phone. Thank you Ollie and all the staff

Disaster Site

One of the poorest excuses for a mobile site I've ever encountered. In general, I like Tesco mobile, but never have I found it so difficult to navigate a site to be able to order one phone for a family member. And the basket keeps freezing, so you can't remove or edit orders unless you sign out and in again. I finally got to placing the order, only to be told "We're having tecnical problems", you're not joking!

Customer service are completely inept, and don't seem to have been trained for the job they're actually meant to be doing. Repeatedly asking inane questions, and skirting around the actual issue, leaving me more confused than them!

You're losing it Tesco!

The website seriously needs upgraded and maintained and perhaps try putting money into the employment of people who speak fluent English (not racist, completely realist).

Hi I’m 78 years old and took an additional contract and phone out for my son they took the money from my account but phone hasn’t arrived on the date they stated today 20th of June 2025 when I went to log in the website told me my account doesn’t exist anymore yet I’ve ordered a phone made the payment proved who I am , very worried may contact solicitor as this can’t be right taking money from a pensioners account and not send the phone if it doesn’t arrive 21/06/2025 I will be instructing a lawyer to act on this I’ve been with tesco mobile years and that’s how you treat your customers UPDATE Tesco cancelled my account and took the money for the first phone DO NOT BUY A MOBILE PHONE FROM TESCO THEY ARE DODGY and have instructed a lawyer to deal with them as taking money and not sending the phone is theft
also they sub contract out there customer service number to another country do yourself a favour don’t touch Tesco mobile they are a waste of space

Took my Credit off my Tesco Mobile account .. TWICE .. no correction or apology

Took my Credit off my card , 2 x £7.50 .. and forced me to pay for a fresh month .. I called and complained the first time .. nothing was done, and then when the second time it was taken .. I realised they were just corporate thieves .. my 30+ years of shopper loyalty and Clubcard points mean nothing.. a dodgy, dodgy company , seeking to feed and sadly abuse the power they have had bestowed.. I hope TESCO , as a brand are fed to the vultures. Get TESCOs out of the UK ..trash, profit centered thieves, brand value, and customer loyalty abusers . Lost in US, Asia and now seeking to trash 🗑️ the British 🇬🇧. I helped build TESCO, being a loyal customer from the 80's. Now I see them happily steal and screwed me over as a cheap customer .. bad Bad BAD TESCO.. in your greed to fleece British 🇬🇧 British Customers 🇬🇧 I now hope TESCOs get busted up, as a failed retail Brand, who appear ready to abuse their longest serving customer Base. What a disgracefully managed company, ignoring complaints, repeatedly, taking a months worth of mobile phone credit in 4-5 days .. this daylight theft is despicably low, and is probably recognised as skillful robbery, as the company tries to get it's profits back from is fundamental British growth base .. .. .. .. as a management consultant, with an FT Ranked global MBA qualification, this company has become a disgrace, and probably should be more openly identified as such ... .. .. as it grabs revenue from sources it should not be 'appropriating' from customers, those who have credit with their mobile contracts.. Sainsburys and ASDA, seem better, safer bets for getting good value for you money. You will be treated with more respect I believe. BAD TESCO.. TESCO Mobile is Nasty greedy and low, low, .. dangerously low Quality . Two recorded conversations, explaining everything sent twice .. and ignored .. Ignore previously loyal long term loyal customers at your peril (30+ years) . I will not be the only abused customer. I hope TESCO customer abuse is widely noted and that this once great business deserves to be killed off, as another arrogantly, ignorant company that was forced to go to the wall .. I contacted tesco mobile at 8:31pm Tuesday 10th June 2025 as always to go through security 3 questions were asked well obviously you cannot get them wrong then they asked me to confirm my last 4 digits of my bank account number in all my time with tesco mobile I have never given my bank account details to pass security so I explained it to the call handler even though I said no I will not provide any bank account details she decided to ask me again the call handler then said you have failed security I done my research and found that tesco mobile will never ask you to confirm your bank account details even on their website it says they will not ask for any bank details so just imagine what would of happened if I did provide any bank details for anyone looking at joining tesco mobile there are much more better mobile providers out there

Worst company to get a mobile phone…

Worst company to get a mobile phone contract with we went behind with a month's payment and our following bill came in at £112 for 2 months worth we paid that and a month later our next bill came in at £112 again, we called them explained what had happened but they refused to help till the late bill had been paid, which was as he confirmed payment had been received,this went on for 6 months costing us £672 + pence and you still refused to sort it so now we treat your correspondence the same as you have ours totally ignoring your issue until you resolve this matter

The most useless mobile network I have…

The most useless mobile network I have ever encountered in my life. I requested a simple new contract set up in my name and to have my old number transferred to the new SIM card. It has been three weeks now and not one staff member either in store or within the customer care team has been able to provide this simple service that I have bee promised. Firstly, the SIM cards given to me did not work receiving or making calls, texting or access to mobile data. I was given several replacement SIM cards and was assured that the issue would be fixed within 24 hours. Still no change after a week goes by ... so I spoke to several colleagues within the customer care team. Several of their team simply hung up the phone when I expressed the fact that nothing had been done to help me at all, there was even a manager by the name of Ibrahim who pretended that there was a fire in his office and so hung the phone on me. I have returned to the Tesco Mobile store several times over the last few weeks and each time the two trainee staff members (with no manager) have tried their hardest to fix the issue, only to find out that the current case of my on-going issue hadn't even been submitted to their tech support team until I had called and chased them. I have never in my life seen such levels of unprofessionalism, poor customer service and all round uselessness i my life. I have been trying to apply for new jobs over these last few weeks and due to this on-going problem I have lost out on job interview opportunities and was delayed in being told about a close family member death because nobody has been able to contact me. AVOID AVOID AVOID this mobile network. They wont fix your issue and will lie to your face several times just to get you to leave them alone.

Wanted to lock my sim card. It's on the settings menu and requires a code. The south Africa call centre has never heard of doing this. It's an option in every phone...!

I let Tesco's know my husband had died…

I let Tesco's know my husband had died because the account was in his name and I wanted to have in my mine. They have cancelled both phones and left without anyway to call or receive calls. I was on the phone to them before this for 90 minutes, with the answer no phone for 48 hours then to go pay as you go and has it's bank holiday I will need to wait longer. Then they send me an email to contact by phone whey they are the ones have cut me off. It's all paid up as I pay monthly but now I am stuck and they wont't answer there emails. They told me nothing would happen until the following evening, a lie they cut me off straight away. Rubbish company. No resolution offered.

An excellent member of staff.…

I went to Tesco to buy a more modern phone yesterday. As I am an older person that is not tech savvy and I also have a bad visual impairment it was a long and slow process. Ruaidh ( sorry if that's spelt incorrectly)was the assistant. He was extremely patient, explained everything slowly and clearly until he knew I understood and was polite with a sense of humour. He was a ten out of ten. I would recommend him highly. The only fly in the ointment is why cant Tesco make it easier to praise their staff.

Awful…

Every page on their site wants you to accept cookies!! It's so tedious. The site is always slow, I can't easily delete items from the basket, it seems to accept my clubcard discount, then takes it off with no explanation. I hate it😡

I have been with Tesco Mobile for years…

I have been with Tesco Mobile for years to be disconnected and contact turned off l spoke with customer service and manager tell me they can’t do anything l have a disabled son more less telling me it’s not there problem they wasn’t very helpful all but still wanted my money for the bill l told them there not getting any more money from me as for termination of contract so up yours Tesco Mobile l don’t think your fair on the disabled people will be taking this further to the ombudsman about it

Poor customer service

They always tell me that I provided my security details incorrectly, even though I have given the correct information. Their attitude is often rude. Additionally, they claim that they will credit my account or make changes, but they never actually follow through. As a result, I have to call back a second time, which is really stressful.

Call Centre difficulties.

I had need to call the service centre to correct a lack of action that had been promised in a webchat several days earlier. The call centre seems to be based in the Tower of Babel. The background noise is so loud that it is extremely difficult hear let alone understand what the customer service agent is saying. It took a lot of perservance but eventually we understood each other and my issue has been resolved (hopefully). However do be aware that the images of a the Tesco Call centre displayed in their advertising does not exist. You will not be connected a person in the UK and neither will you have a calm reassuring experience. In my case I felt exhausted and anxious after my call. Should I need to speak to them again I will talk to the agent in my local Tesco store I think.
