i am disabled military veteran ive been tesco mobile customer fpr long time but tecently get very poor signal ,tesco web chat WAS RUBBISH the other end tesco bloke could npt help me with poor signal he advised to reset phone ,rubbish i wpuld lose data etc ,this bloke was hopeless after he asked to reset ,he was typing are you there ive not heard from you , tesco i think i need chamge my mobile provider ,rubbish.

I have a problem with my network…

I have a problem with my network coverage, my phone hasn't changed and my house hasn't moved but the signal is in and out all day. The staff, when you can understand them are clueless - they all give different reasons and when they say they are going to do something THEY DON'T. The staff in the Tesco Mobile Stores have been helpful it's just a shame the "Customer Care" staff aren't

The Advertising Standards Authority should stop Tesco claiming superb customer service

I have given a poor review recently and I see that many other people are suffering a truly awful service, presumably since Tesco seem to have outsourced customer support to abroad. It is unbelievable that they are still claiming superb customer service in their advertising. My next move is to talk to the Advertising Standards Authority. I for one believed what they said!

I left ee to come to Tesco mobile
They sold me the phone totally input the incorrect information
Which messed my wife's number up who.is the account holder now for both of us.

I have had no.nr in use instead of a temp nr only
I am on call re fire and security

I have contacted today tesco helpline still not sorted 5 days on

I went to tesco worcester yesterday a exceptionally rude man attendant
Was rude
Contracending
Not helpful
Wasn't interested in what I had to say.

WHY DO TESCO EMPLOY STAFF WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE SELLING
WHY ARE STAFF SO RUDE
WHY DO YOU TAKE PAYMENTS STRAIGHT AWAY WITHOUT AND BEFORE THE PHONES ARE LINKED????

No service for 15 days after PAC code transfer

Update: @TescoMobile have now closed my complaint without resolving it, despite a total loss of service since 21 Dec and no named owner or timeframe.
I’ve formally requested a deadlock letter and am escalating to Ombudsman Services.
This is not acceptable customer care

I wish I could give zero stars

I wish I could give zero stars! An elderly friend needed to speak to someone about the changes with the 3G closing. Staff in branch were appalling. Gave no help at all, despite claiming they help vulnerable clients change to the most appropriate deal. He was given no help and was persuaded into buying a phone and taking out a separate contract, when he should have got a contract for the same price, with the phone included for free! This is clearly shown on their website, which my friend, like a lot of elderly people, does have access too. They refuse to help and say it is not their responsibility to help vulnerable customers despite saying, on both the website and social media, that they do and are signed up to the Ofcom Fairness Commitment.

Had a brand new iPhone 16 bought in…

Had a brand new iPhone 16 bought in September 2025 first bundle that came the iPad screen was faulty had a dead pixel not a good start had to be replaced 2nd phone has been in 2 times for repair tried sending me it back again not happening tried to speak to customer support but get no where the company is based in South Africa so makes no just clarification Tescos mobile no I will not be taking the iPhone back and 2nd of all I’m now no longer a Tescos customer terrible service even the signel and 5g is shocking hence why it’s so cheap I really would recommend EE or 3three network or Vodafone Tesco is 💩 left me without a phone now for 2 weeks over the Christmas period should be ashamed of the runnings of the company

Recently reported two instances of…

Recently reported two instances of someone fraudulently ordering two iPhones using my name and address. The customer service operators were very cold and not at all reassuring, only taking details to pass to the fraud team, with a response promised within 20 working days. When this timeline expired, I rang Customer service once again and once again I was asked to go through the issue fully. I was told this would be escalated and a member of the fraud team would contact me within 4 hours. Needless to say this never happened. Absolutely unacceptable customer service.

I am absolutely disgusted

I am absolutely disgusted. My son just had the iphone 17 delivered by DPD in a sealed TESCO box. On opening the box we found an iphone 17 pro. It felt cheap and no charging point inside the phone. We contacted TESCO straight away who confirmed it was a fake phone!! With that they have now made him wait over a week to investigate. It's really not hard TESCO, obviously someone in your warehouse is swapping phones or TESCO are supplying fakes!! Either way the phone should of been replaced straight away as this is down to TESCO and not my son.
The sad thing about this is that it can't of only happened to my son. How many people on Christmas day are opening a £1000 pound phone to find a knock off.
TESCO should be embarrassed of their selves.
Due to the extremely poor response from TESCO we have no other choice than to bring the police into the matter

You need to transfer your help desk…

You need to transfer your help desk back to the UK.
IMMEDIATELY.
1. Your overseas help desk people end the call if I ask a very straightforward question, but the question falls outside their script.
As per Trustpilot's rating, your service is abysmal, nobody knows anything, their answer to my question has nothing to do with the question I've asked.
3. Previously, the Tesco Help Desk (which was in the UK of course) was helpful, knowledgable and always resolved any problem I had. Now, I approach calling the Help Desk not expecting anything to be done. And, it never is.
4. If Tesco used any other provider than O2 (with its excellent network coverage) I'm sure all Tesco Mobile customers woul change to another provider.
The quality of the network coverage is first rate, the back up help service is a disgrace.

Awful experience. Traumatised. Not the service it was

Awful experience. Have a family plan with them and wanted to create a new one. With another 4 contracts. It felt like being on a Mastermind quiz show and you had to recall 5 questions about any random financial descision you’d made in the last 10 years. It was so stressful. I’ve spent hours being rejected with one email, tried another- fine. No manager to speak to to ask why rejected as I already have a contract with Tesco and impeccable credit rating and score. Made me feel so anxious that my credit rating was poor and I panicked as I rely on credit for a living. I was just told to speak to equifax. I joined equifax. Nothing wrong and no follow up call from Tesco to apologise. No rectifying. All customer service outsourced from the UK. Lots lost in translation. Awful 😞 Will have to go in the nearest store (45 mins away to sort) I’d already got my 4 PAC codes to bring over to Tesco so now in limbo as a year ago the service was fantastic (UK based)

Every little helps my arse

Well, I have got to say Tescomobile, you've proven to be the absolute worst service (network) and customer service I have every come across.
No point complaining too much as those poor people you have in India wont know how to respond.
Terrible, People would advise you stay clear as you will be better off using string cups

Thoroughly let down by Tesco Mobile.

My wife & I are in our 80s & use our (non smart) mobile phones only to make occasional calls & send texts. We have been Tesco mobile pay as you go customers for over 10 years & until lately have never had any problems. Tesco recently stopped their simple to understand pay as you go service & now we are expected to pay a fixed amount every month. I rang the customer service number to find out more about the new packages I spoke to a woman who told me that Tesco customer service was no longer in the UK but was now based in South Africa. She was going on about bundles, data, 15G, 30G a fixed monthly charge etc. When I told her that neither my wife or I (like many other older people) had a smart phone, we were not interested in data, bundles, international roaming charges or anything else, all we wanted was the same cheap, simple pay as you go tariff for very occasional use that we'd had for years, she listened, was sympathetic & told me they had many similar calls from other elderly people, but at the end of the day couldn't help them. Sadly when my current balance runs out I'll be leaving Tesco. I appreciate that I might be seen by some as a silly old b-----, but suspect I am just one of many hundreds of other elderly silly old b-----s, who feel thoroughly let down by Tesco.

Tesco have no customer support

Told Tesco was going away and was assured that my phone would work. It worked perfectly until the switch to new pay as you go system . Now I have no app and no phone . Have contacted Tesco and no support it my fault because I left the country. Had no problem before they changed the system . Had perfect reception in Australia during lockdown. Now they can’t help and have spent weeks trying to sort . Not back in uk till June been with Tesco since 2011 and they won’t even refund my top up before this system changed don’t recommend them
