Extremely Delayed Order with No Refund of Deposit
Over 2 months ago we placed an order for a fridge at the Windsor location and they told us it will take a maximum of 4 weeks. We recently talked to the manager and they said they have no idea where the fridge is and it could take up to a year to get it. They also said if we cancel the order we’ll lose our deposit. Extremely ridiculous and disappointing
behaviour. Please be cautious of them and I recommend others not to purchase any orders from them.

Great Staff and Fabulous Store
The sales staff at Tepperman’s are first rate.We had Garry Keeping ,a sale rep ,who showed us various Canadian made sofa beds which my wife and I were interested in.We were pleased with Gary’s knowledge of the sofas.He was exceptional in every way!
Gary was very knowledgeable in that he explained in detail the features for various models we liked ;and in the end we chose a very fine Harrison sofa bed with a colour we were looking for.
His easy going Eastern sense of humour made for a very memorable shopping experience .
My wife and I will definitely buy other pieces of furniture from Tepperman’s in the future.
Also,the delivery of our sofa bed Oct.2nd went as smooth as glass.
The delivery people were experts who navigated the entire process with ease; and they were very careful to make sure everything went smoothly.They were not in a rush !
Kudos to the three delivery men… you guys are pros!
My wife and I would like to thank you 🙏 for your efficiency and attention to detail.

Wouldn't recommend. Bought a coffee table and end table found out they were too big for my living room call store and they told me they do not do refund or exchange. Talk with customer care let them know about my situation, customer care told me to take pictures of the item I did that. Called them back a few days later and they told me that I could return them but they would charge me a 20% restocking fee.told customer care in no way does it say anything on bill and website that it says that. They told me either I take the coffee table I bought previous or buy another set or take a store credit no impressed with the company and will not be doing business with them any more. Buyers beware the store only wants ur money and then forgets about u.

In the last year we have purchased a new living room set, dining room set, washer and dryer, fridge and stove from Tepperman's. So we have had many deliveries to our home! In July we had our fridge delivered by Abbas and Vito. This delivery was a unique experience and Abbas and Vito's customer service was exemplary. They both went way above and beyond the usual customer service expectations to ensure we received a high quality customer experience. They treated us like we were family. Of all the delivery experiences we have had through Tepperman's, this one by far excelled all others. I thank you both for everything you did for us that day, you both deserve recognition for providing such a stellar representation of Tepperman's and what I believe they strive for in their business. Bravo!

This company does not stand behind the mattresses they sell.
I bought and just received a double mattress, supposed to be firm. It actually has few spots that are not firm, and company has no policy for return or exchange.
The manufacturer kingsdown only goes through the retail outlets.
I had also talked to the telephone customer service, and the female rep was very rude, and unhelpful. I asked to talk to the owner - and she said she was the owner.
I called to talk to a manager in the head office - and the manager never called back.
Won’t be buying anything from Tepperman’s again - Wayfair is a much better option - and they deliver for free.

Have been a long term customer of…
Have been a long term customer of Tepperman's London and always received value for money and great service, including helpful advice regarding appliance and furniture purchases from their sales team.
I've also in the past found their finance/administration team pleasant and helpful with every purchase I've made.
I will however moving forward never purchase appliances from Tepperman's again, instead I will purchase future appliances from Home Depot or Lowes.
The reason for this being that I purchased an LG fridge/freezer around 3 years ago from Tepperman's which now has a compressor that does not work - my research has shown that this is a common problem with LG refrigerators, so common in fact that LG has been forced to provide a 10 year warranty on these compressors.
The warranty only covers the part, I'm now out over $400 to have LG come and install it.
I have two friends who experienced the same problem, LG compressor stopped working after 3 years, difference is they purchased from Home Depot and Lowes, both companies took responsibility, contacted LG, and covered the labor cost of new compressor install.
My call to Tepperman's customer service was answered with "Not our problem, I can give you the LG phone number, nothing else I can do"
Very disappointing.

This was my first time shopping at Tempermans. I was amazed at the service that I received from everybody that I was in contact with especially Tracy. I think that’s her name Tracy in Administration her voice was so reassuring, and made me feel confident about the sale of which I was about to make. Thank you Tempermans for all the help you gave me and for all the consideration you gave me because of my illness and my situation. Thank you from the bottom of my heart I now know why you are so popular. Thank you Brandon Afara, and AndreasThemlit, you guys are the best! I'm sure you will remember me when you see my name!

Worst place to buy furniture
The worst experience I had with their products, on a bed set that I purchased, garbage, it broke after 3 months, and I was very upset when I heard that they are not coming to fix the product. What a bunch of crooks.

Customer Satisfaction Doesn't Exist Here
They have on their website Customer Satisfaction Guarantee which is you would think this would be the case but it is so far from the truth it is scary. I bought a fridge there, seen it was damaged and reported it within 1h of picking it up (we had not even moved it from the truck yet) and was told that first we have to wait 7 days for them to do anything. When i pushed to get some customer service during the call i was not only put on hold 5 times but they still refused to help. They then started to say a bunch of things that were not true trying to cover their butt. The fridge had damage to it and the box was damaged. It was damaged on the side of the box we didn't see when they loaded it in the truck. Overall the end result is I got absolutely no service from them, they refused to exchange or return it and the staff was also very rude. I had asked to speak with a manager and of course that is not possible for 3 days.... Seriously.... this is absolutely not customer satisfaction it is the complete opposite. A Few years ago we had bought a sofa and ottoman along with the extended warranty, the ottoman a few weeks after having it in our home sunk in we called and had a service man come out. We were told that anything heavier than 1 magazine causes it to sink in and that it was only for decoration and didn't actually function as an ottoman. Well since they refused to help us then we took it apart sure enough it was held together with a piece of fabric only. my husband ended up fixing it with some wood and it has been perfect since now that it is build correctly. This just goes to show you that not only does Tepperman's sell horrible quality but they absolutely have the worst customer service ever. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY at this retailer it isn't worth it. You will end up with expensive useless items which are just wasting your money.

Bought a Amana washer and dryer in…
Bought a Amana washer and dryer in 2019. Both washer and dryer have broke down over 5 x. Called Teppermans to see if I can get a credit for all the issues I have. I was told no they will not do anything. I don’t want anyone to go through what I’m going through. Washer is broken down again and still waiting for repairs. Broke already 4 times and we are only in May. U hope no one goes through this hassle. I’m a single mom and take care of elderly mom. I have to go to laundry mat and spend more money.

Ridiculous
I will not be dealing with you or your customer care dept , as you customer service leaves something to be desired. and has to be one of the worse customer service dept that I have had the displeasure in dealing with. (Pictures of a brand new couch just to see if I can get short legs , despicable )
After many years of dealing with Teppermans this will be my last purchase from your company not that matters to you or anyone of your company as there is plenty of people you can treat in a horrendous manner . There are plenty of furniture stores that I am sure would be happy to deal with me for my future purchase's

We are downsizing to an apartment and…
We are downsizing to an apartment and went to Tepperman in Kitchener, we went looking for different pieces of furniture and we spoke to the salesman Jay. He was so knowledgeable and was not at all pushy. Jay was very patient with us and answered all our questions and very kind. We would highly recommend Tepperman in Kitchener but more importantly is to ask for Jay. He is the reason we keep going back. Jay's people skills are excellent and in my mind customer service is the number 1 on my list for shopping and making decision. Jay has made that very easy and we will continue going to Tepperman for our furniture needs and asking for Jay. I even recommended him to my adult children. Thank you to the store Manager which I met which was Jackie and she herself is very pleasant , and thanked her for having Jay in her store.

Teppermans Ancaster TERRIBLE
Where do I begin????? I have a sectional from Teppermans Ancaster store. The altari sectional. The chaise back wall of the couch is on a complete lean inward. They decided to send technicians to view it and one of them said, “that’s not normal’, the other technician checked it and said because there was nothing broken inside the couch , that he couldn’t fix it. So now is unwilling to do anything about it and actually had the stupidity to say my floor many not be level and that is why????? Seriously. Every other back part of the couch is fine! They just kept apologizing and pretty much said I should accept the couch the way it is. Since I have persisted with this defected couch ,they contacted the manufacturer Ashley and they didn’t have any answers either! The label says unlimited warranty on the frame! That’s a lie!
BUYERS BEWARE, DO NOT buy ANY FURNITURE FROM TEPPERMANS ANCASTER STORE IN ONTARIO AS THey DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AND THE quality is GARBAGE. I’m going to share this with everyone I know who is furniture shopping. Very disappointed customer will never go back!

Actually give a BIG ZERO for Customer…
Actually give a BIG ZERO for Customer service and quality. Wrote previous about furniture piling a few weeks after purchase and now 5 months later the motor on recliner not working. Told it will take 4 to 5 Months to replace. They are not interested in working with me to find a resolution. So here I sit with a piece of Junk that I have to shave on regular basis. Never buy from Teppermans again.

Absolutely terrible Customer care department
We received our couch on Jan 26th, 2024, a month late from when I bought it from the London store. When it came the couch was damaged and the delivery guys damaged my door frame taking it downstairs, then asked me to sign a damage waiver. Yea right. That wasn't happening. I have called and called; every time they say someone will get back to you to resolve the issue. A service tech came out on Feb 16th, 2024, and brought the wrong part to fix part of the couch. Now I am waiting again for a repair date. As far as the door frame damage a manager was to call me on Feb. 21st, 2024, for the 3rd time and still no phone call. I would never buy from this store again. they are nice when they want you to buy their products, but once you buy and pay, they make you wait for your product, if its damaged they are hard to get ahold of and takes weeks for them to call you back and get things fixed. Never again. It's called BUYER BEWARE.
NEVER SPEND MY MONEY HERE AGAIN
I bought a couch for my cottage, between Christmas and new years of 2022. One of the couch cushion developed a small hole along a seam probably only sat on a maximum of 20 times, called tepperman's customer service no big deal set up a repair. Technician came took him about 5mins to sew up the couch cushion, we spoke and he was a super guy he said it probably would not last as there was not enough material in the cover to repair it properly he would make note of it in the file that it likely needs a new cover. Well 5 months later his stiches pop i figure no big deal and call tepperman's Well that's when the good service ends spend 45min to an hour on the phone to get a nice individual very polite, I explain how its been repaired earlier in the year she looks it up on file and is like no problem we will open a claim the next day i get a call from customer service we talk she says i will get an email with what they need to proceed i explain they should have all my original photos on file she looks and say yup we have them if you can just send an updated photo of the area so i do, a few days later i get an email saying they need all the required photos and they send examples, I reply back with please call me and i proceed to send all the original photos as its at my cottage and I don't go there very often,a few days go by and they reply back saying they got a blank email, I resend This goes on for a few week finally they call a few weeks ago and i explain again we set up a service call no biggies i arrange to have my mother be at the cottage on Feb 8th to meet the technician he says we need to order a new cover. Feb 9th teppermans customer service calls and says your couch is out of its one year warranty and I would have to pay for repairs.
A clear factory defect that was reported and repaired noted it was a temporary fix and they will not do anything
