From the UI to the Marketing, to the excellent Support team, I am continually impressed by the way this team executes with everything. I'm especially pleased with the high level of Coach Support from the Support channel and the way they respond so quickly. I've had early morning lessons and often late lessons that end at 10 pm and if I send a message to Support asking for help, they will usually respond within minutes. Sudden, unexpected charges
I had great guitar lessons but realized I couldn't commit to paying for 4 sessions a month. Stopped the subscription but suddenly, after 6 months, I get a charge for 4 more lessons. There was no notice or indication that this charge was coming. There is no way on the App to have checked on this or to know that this was coming or prevent it. They refuse to refund the money but are keeping the money so I can have more lessons in the future that I do not want.

I was robbed
I had 3 lessons with this company (1 was supposed to be free) & never heard back. I sent follow up requests for lessons without response. I sent a note that I only wanted to be charged as the lesson was booked, not 4 at a time. I contacted them again a couple of months ago asking for a refund for lessons I was being charged for.
Meanwhile, I was charged a total of $670 when only receiving 3 lessons. That feels like a crime to me.
Only today did I hear back with a cancellation without refund. I was robbed.

I booked a private pickleball lesson as a birthday gift, and the experience was incredibly frustrating. The coach and platform kept changing the date and time without notice or my consent. Communication was poor, and when I asked for a refund, they refused. What should’ve been a fun, thoughtful gift turned into a headache. I wouldn’t recommend TeachMe.To to anyone looking for reliability or professionalism. Jamie the pickleball coach did not care to accommodate me at all, even though I communicated to her it was a special occasion and gift to my bf. I’m so upset….
UPDATE: They only approved my refund after threatening to do a chargeback and filing a complaint with the BBB. They are trash disgrace of a company.

Auto-Renewal Without Notice + No Flexibility from Support
This is no knock on the trainer I was paired with, who has been great. My issue is with the TeachMeTo platform and its business practices.
After a string of lessons, I requested to freeze/pause my subscription due to work commitments and health issues. At the time of pausing, there was no clear indication that the subscription would be automatically reactivated without my consent, nor did I receive any advance communication or reminder that it would resume.
When the subscription was reactivated, not only was I completely unaware, but the rate had increased significantly — from $196.88 to $472.50 (a difference of roughly $275). My trainer was also unaware this would happen under TeachMeTo’s system.
I contacted support within 5 minutes of being charged (the charge was at 10:26 pm; I reached out at 10:31 pm). This was not an attempt to avoid payment, but a reaction to a charge I did not expect. Unfortunately, the support team was not helpful. I was told I have 12 months to use the credit, but due to an injury that likely requires surgery, I won’t be able to use the lessons within that period — and I don’t have anyone to “share” them with. This means I’m out a significant amount of money, and my trainer won’t be paid either. The funds simply sit in the TeachMeTo system.
To be so rigid with policy despite me flagging the issue almost immediately is incredibly disappointing — especially since I was just five minutes past an unclear six-month deadline. It would be entirely reasonable for TeachMeTo to improve its notification system to alert customers before subscriptions are resumed or freezes are about to expire.
This has been a frustrating and costly experience, and I hope this feedback prompts TeachMeTo to revisit its policies and communication practices.

Really shady company
Really shady company. They sign you up to lessons that keep going until you stop them. No notice they charged your card again. The app is horrible intentionally to get more money. Near impossible to find how many lessons you took and have left. Ask them and they avoid telling you. Pro can’t tell you either as they seem willfully dumb. Won’t even refund one of their unknown charges. There’s no phone number to talk to a person. The app people say talk to the hand - their policy allows NO REFUNDS. Ever. I’m disputing it. It’s a scam. Find your own pro.

Do NOT use in NYC
Do NOT use in NYC. They will match you to whoever you pick at first just to make you pay, only to cancel on them and suggest other random coaches all magically more expensive and less ideal conditions (too far, different level and class style, etc.). Absolutely wasted a month doing back and forth with them. I wouldn’t recommend this service to nobody in NYC.

Great service overall — fast and attentive. I booked a coach who wasn’t actually available, but they fixed it right away. I paid a bit more, but ended up booking my class smoothly.
Warning this is a scam
Warning this is a scam. Did one lesson and then was told they had "no locations" when I live in Austin and can easily go myself to any golf course. They said they paused my subscription but it still says l'm going to be charged on a certain date.
Reddit and other websites have scam reviews. There's not an obvious way to cancel. And Reddit user said even when they “cancelled” teachme still charged. Don't waste your time or money

My son and I decided to take golf lessons together this past summer. We were very much looking to golfing together with friends and family. We signed up for four lessons. The instructor was good but did not have a home course so we had to move around to different courses to have our lessons.
We signed up for four lessons and unfortunately our instructor took ill and could not continue.
Now, four months later I find we not only were charged the full $315 for those three lessons but we were charged monthly for the next 4 months. We ended up paying $1575 for three golf lessons.
When I addressed this with TeachMeTo, they simply said reimbursements were not in their policy. They did stop the recurring charges after they billed me one more time after I explained the situation.
I am seeking legal help and you may see more from me across social media platforms. Please please be very wary of sharing any credit card or bank info with this company. They are much more concerned with their profit margin than your golf or pickleball lesson.

Great platform for lessons!
I recently started taking pickleball lessons with a coach through TeachMe.To, and it’s been a fantastic experience from start to finish. Scheduling was super easy using the TeachMe.To app; it guided me through everything clearly and let me find times that fit my schedule.
My coach (Josue) was knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. The lessons have been fun and productive. The platform handles everything, from booking to payments, so I can focus entirely on learning.
I would highly recommend TeachMe.To to anyone looking to get better at pickleball or try it out for the first time!

Important to understand that the free lesson comes with an automatic renewal for four lessons. Even though there is transparency regarding this and the ability to cancel before committing to the lessons, there actually is no way to cancel in advance of paying for the four lessons. Then there is a policy for no refunds following the payment for the additional lessons.
