With your records in one place, you can spend less time searching through spreadsheets, notes and piles of paperwork. TaxSnapper also provides estimated Income Tax and National Insurance figures based on the information you enter. These estimates help you plan ahead, although your final tax bill will depend on your circumstances and the accuracy and completeness of your records. There’s no monthly subscription and no requirement to connect your bank account. You can pay for quarterly and annual report exports when you need them, whether you want to review your figures, share records with your accountant or prepare information for use with compatible tax software. TaxSnapper helps you organise and export records as you prepare for Making Tax Digital. It does not submit MTD updates or tax returns directly to HMRC; submission requires separate compatible software or an accountant.
