Niall from TaxAssist in Naas was very prompt, helpful and supportive in helping with my tax returns. We were able to complete the returns on time, hitch free. I would recommend!

Experience was very smooth from the beginning. I was contacted after requesting a quote and I got assigned an accountant for a first call. Niall was very patient and explained everything and answered all my questions to be sure I was happy with the process. He always replied promptly to my emails and got everything completed in a timely manner.

Their website says - ''whatever your situation with shares and share options, your local TaxAssist Accountant can meet with you and prepare your tax returns''. Unfortunately, as it turned out - that's very misleading, as they refused to take the job after making a series of excuses (in the end it was due to 'capacity issues'). Also, the accountant said that he wasn't going to check individual transactions, but if that's the case - how would they make sure that all the correct rules, such as FIFO are applied? I had high hopes after reading the positive reviews, but ended up being confused and disappointed. Can't recommend these guys at all.

Engaged tax assist to complete my 2024 taxes this year, was very unhappy with thier service. Contacted them in September and got an October consultation, meeting went will and so far so good. They requested additional details which were provided in the agreed time frame and they had indicated that they would meet the October deadline. I would have been happy if they followed through but they proceeded to miss that deadline and the online November deadline. This was despite my attempts to contact them. When they finally replied the day after the November deadline there was no explanation as to what went wrong. I then terminated the agreement and will have to engage a different accountant to complete this. Overall the level of communication was not at a level I would expect and the lack of any kind of apology/explanation really annoyed me. I'm sure that they can do good work but in this instance I was not happy.

I got great service from Ruary with my income tax return. He responded promptly to any queries. And got everything done without a fuss. Very happy.

For me this company, are just so helpful and go out of there way to try organise and help you. Alan is who I deal with, and to be fair, he’ll advise and always get back to you. I’ve had two other accountants in different counties. But for me, I’d recommend Taxassist the highest. So much so that 4 of my colleagues have joined them also.

Chris and Bindu are friendly, efficient and informative.

My tax query was a bit rushed due to me being forgetful of the deadline, although Chris has told me frequently.
As usual I was told exactly what additional documents I needed and how to source them, once these were safely in the staff hands(who are very approachable and qualified) I knew from past experience that I could relax as all the pieces would be done correctly and in a timely manner under their guidance.
The costs for the basic tax query from Tax assist, was much the same and lower that some of the accounts in the city.
I would happily recommend Chris and team to deal with all kinds of queries no matter how confused the client is about the process.

Dermot and he team are always available to sort out situation that requires immediate attention.

They are patience and understanding of the environment that business owners have to operate in.

They are professional and supportive.
