We live in Vancouver BC in Canada. We placed an order with them and shipping was included. Few days later, they emailed us and said “many shipping companies” consider our address remote so there will be additional shipping charges. They will pay half and we will have to pay $50. This is definitely a scam to deceive customers into ordering and then raising the price.

I ordered Model 3 accessories from Taptes 3 times, the customer service is not that bad. They kept me updating the tracking info via email, and the delivery took 15 days to my home(That's why I ordered items 3 times from them). Happy shopping experiences with Taptes

When my order eventually arrived many weeks late I discovered the roof bars did not come with any locks even though they were advertised. A vanity panel has now blown off exposing the single bolt on that arm. Taptes won’t reply, so now I cannot get locks or a replacement panel.

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Product was poorly described on website. When I received and saw this was the case I inquired about a return. They gave me flack about it as it was expensive as they are in Hong Kong. What company refuses a return for this concern? Answer: those that don't want to stay in business.

Buyer beware. I purchased all weather floor mats for my Tesla from these people. The floor mats do not have a means of remaining in place so they crumple below your feet. After 4-5 emails back and forth with them arguing about their product they stated finally that because there were no other comments from customers, this product was designed this way. Imagine how dangerous it is driving and your floor mat gets mangled below your feet or under the gas or brake pedal. They stated that i have to pay shipping and 20% restock. Needless to say, this is the last thing i buy from them.

I bought a complete set of bright LEDs from Taptes to replace every internal LED in my Model X. The new lights are much brighter than the OEMs and I was happy, except that two of the lights didn't work at all. I wrote to Taptes, who wanted me to send a video! To show what? LEDs not emitting light?! I wrote back; they never answered me.

Then, about six months later, the new LEDs started to flicker, at first intermittently, then frequently, and then they started to fail completely. I wrote again to Taptes. Guess what? No reply from them at all.

Conclusion: these LEDs are cheap garbage sold at vastly inflated prices. Don't fall for this scam like I did.

Taptes is just another Chinese company with low quality, product shipped from China, and zero customer service. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

I'm going to modest, so I own Tesla model s and i Purchase good amount of items from them, so I ordered the carbon fiber side mirror cover and one wasn't fully correct size, I had challenge to fit in the steering wheel in.. I also bought door handle covers and I was satisfied with those....u must b patient because there's no way to track your items and took close to a month to receive everything.... so now I'm going through Amazon now, they have great items for Tesla! That's my opinion...

I purchased a product for my Tesla 3 a couple of years ago with no issues so I ordered 2 items in Jan 2022. I got an email from them stating they couldn't ship my purchase until after Feb 15 because of the China New Year. One of the items I ordered arrived. I was send a text about the other product that said it was in progress. Their website states that the average shipping time to the US is 28.5 days. So, not hearing any time frame for shipping I sent an email cancellng my order. I also tried phoning and continually got busy signals. I never got a response from my email so I had my bank withhold the cost of the last item. I then ordered the same item from Ocean Abstract and received it in 4 days. The last Item from the Taptes order arrived several days after I got my product from Ocean Abstract. I got numerious emails from Taptes which completely ignored the communications problem and then they finally sent me a return label. They now want me to ask my bank to pay them the amount of the item returned and then they would give me a refund. Not doing it! .....won't be buying any thing from them again.

I really wish I did more searches on this company before ordering my Tesla Model Y floor mats. It's been over a month since I ordered it and every time I email the customer support, they say that they are getting ready to ship it but a few days go by and it still hasn't shipped. I'm about to ask for my money back but looks like other people on this review site did not have luck on this. I will never order anything from this company again.

I bought a center console for my 2014 Tesla Model S. On the website, it looked nice and was describes as using high quality material. When it showed up, it was pretty awful. Much of the "rubber" area was some sort of petroleum based by product crap. Also poor build quality.
I wish I knew about this page before I spent money on this piece of crap.

Took a month and half to send order and will not cancel even when they don’t send. Not a good business dont order!!!

Do not buy from Taptes, UK delivery issues very poor customer service. Buyers beware.

I placed an order for rotating swivel for Tesla Y monitor on November 5th 2021.
After the product arrived I tried to install it on November 15th. The product was not possible to mount due to swivel inability to rotate. I tried everything to make it happen and nothing worked. I emailed to Taptes multiple videos that was showing why the product is defective.
Today, December 7, 2021, a month after my order was placed I can't return the product to Taptes. All my mutiple emails in which I requested return and refund ARE IGNORED. Taptes changing people that respond to my email together with ideas of what I am supposed to do to make TAPTES happy. This company is not about serving customers it is about customers serving TAPTES.
There is no any logic in trying to explain anything to these people. They wont hear you. Strongly recommend not to buy anything from this company.
I have to issue a chargeback via my credit card company instead.

I have bought a set of matts for my new Tesla Model Y.
When it was received, the largest mat was crammed together to fit in the small package they have sent. Unfortunately, this has left the mat with creases.
I have tried contacting the Taptes support, they write back saying they really want to help - But I was just thrown around, try this and this.
I have now tried their suggestions, still with a creased matte.
I tried offering to pay for them to send me a new one, but not even there they were willing to give me service.
I will not recommend buying from them - I won't do that mistake again.

Do not trust these guys!!!

I have purchased a set of mats for my Tesla more than a month ago, and I am still in daily contact with their apparantly only supporter Andy, who keeps telling me new daily stories about my order. The mats, they claim, is in stock in warehouses in EU (that is what their homepage is stating), but for some reason, their are just not shipped. They are promissing me on a daily basis to ship, but for some reason it's not happening.

You cannot call the phone number on their homepage, and not get to talk to anyone but 'Andy'. I am afraid that I lost the 300+ $ I have paid for the mats.

I did get the Trunk Kick Sensor I ordered, however, they cannot tell how to install it, or even if it will work with my car.

I will keep fighting, but I am pretty sure I have lost my money. I wish I never ordered anything from this company and I will never purchase anything from them again.

Ordered the Tesla M3 all-weather floor mats on September 28th, and received them, November 12th..
exceeding the (guaranteed) 15-20 workdays delivery by ~100%.
Also, they did NOT respond to my email inquiry.

The mats are rather nice, though :-)

Bad experience on ordering all-weather matts for TM3.
Informed that the item was on stock in EU warehouse, although delivery time was 15-18 work days.
After 15 work days I wrote to them and delivery was now postponed to 30 work days and the item was not yet in the EU.
Bad way of doing business!

Seat covers - 3.5 months to receive. Customer service has no clue where they are. Finally received them. Wrong color. Factory “changed color”. After 10 or so email no willingness to correct mistake. They offer3d I can reorder at my expense. Buyer beware

orderd seat covers for MS over 2 months ago. they sent me a shipping link and have been telling me there are few flights coming to America. That is when they even care to respond. Also dont believe the fake GOOD REVIEWS, as they themselves put them up there with no creativity whatsoever. nitoce lates 2 reviews both from a last name Scott!!! UNREAL never again with this company!!!
