Absolutely love my Muse lamps! They are beautifully made and look fantastic. One of my original lamps was faulty, but this was replaced without any fuss. I was so pleased with them that I went on to order another set!

I contacted them because my package arrived in regular shipment though I paid for express shipping. Their AI assistance was not able to help much but their team responded within 24 hours and provided solution. They are also really nice and friendly.

Beautiful minimalist fixture and these bulbs are producing the best light of any we’ve ever bought. We have recommended Tala to friends and we’ll be buying more.

My third lamp from Tala .. Mantle in blue in addition to Mantle in granite and Muse in black .. excellent customer service, prompt and efficient .. lovely lamps, easy to dim brightness or brighten a dull area .. easy to charge although takes a while if low but lasts for hours

Though we were told, the estimated delivery time after our pre-payment would be 5-7 days, it took at least three weeks after we made our on time payment.

I am irritated by the use of AI customer service bots for an average consumer question but quick personal attention for potential large orders paired with a lengthy environmental sustainability statement on their site (AI is not carbon neutral.) Discontinued products are also annoying

I decided to put in extra work to take business elsewhere if i can find a comparable solution for this project as I will now need to replace many many fixtures because of one dead bulb, and I will avoid working with the brand in the future.

The bulbs stop working - after some back and forth Tala sent free replacements. Happy customer

I reached out on Sunday, September 13th about a broken light bulb in my order (one of four bulbs arrived shattered in transit). After no response, I followed up with a second email and a phone call on Tuesday, September 15th. I didn't hear back from customer service until Friday, September 18th — a full 5 days after my initial email.

John's response itself was polite and he did arrange a replacement, but I had specifically requested a refund, not a replacement, and that request wasn't addressed — I wish I'd been asked which I preferred before a resolution was decided for me.

The bigger issue was the response time. A 5-day wait for a first reply feels well below what I'd expect, especially from a premium brand like Tala — 24-48 hours is a more reasonable standard. Given this experience, I'll likely look elsewhere for lighting to complement my other fixtures going forward.

Had a baby brain moment and ordered two lightbulbs without checking the delivery cost. £14.95 just for standard delivery of two lightbulbs! I immediately contacted customer service to cancel the order but no one responded until the order had been dispatched. Eventually they offered me a £5 refund for delivery, which is something, but I am genuinely flabbergasted about the delivery cost, particularly when I checked they were only being delivered from a warehouse in the UK. The bulbs have arrived in a very simple plastic wrapper. Genuinely no clue what the reason for such expensive delivery is?! Feel conned. Will not be ordering from Tala again. A very expensive mistake indeed!

I bought a plug-in pendant around two and a half years ago. The bulb itself was £50 and blew this week. It's advertised with a 30,000 hour lifespan and I'll have been lucky to have got even 5,000 hours put of it (that's averaging 6 hours a day). The bulb has gone up in price by 30% and is now £65! I contacted customer service who, despite recognising that 5,000 hours of use is far below expextations, refused to refund or replace the bulb.

I'm quite happy to pay for style and quality, and while the products are gorgeous, the quality and customer service does not match the price point. £65 is a lot of money to have to replace a bulb every two an a half years! They've lost any future custom from me unfortunately.

We have bought a wall light from Tala. The light is supposed to be dimmable, but it never worked and was flickering straight away, even when being on full power the light would go on and off. When contacting Tala customer service, they told us this light would only work with special dimmable switches or alternatively an on and off switch. We had an electrician come around to fix the switches and still no luck with this Tala light . Very frustrating process and customer support and has been very poor throughout. Wouldn’t recommend this brand to anyone.

As a repeat customer, I worry tala is going into administration. I'm writing this on behalf of my OAP mother who purchased a Muse from tala online. She quickly realised she'd ordered the wrong lamp, asked for a refund and then ordered the right lamp. Despite cancelling within 14 days and not receiving the item, tala is claiming they will only offer store credit. They claim there are special terms and conditions for Black Friday / Cyber Monday, which is easy to check online as untrue where they are advertising the lamp today with a - more generous than 14 day cool off rights - 28 full refund policy. I'd recommend only purchasing with credit card from tala now to give you full Section 75 rights as store credit is pretty worthless if they go into administration
