Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife was a…
Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife was a lovely modern hotel. We were really pleased with it. I believe it is nearly refurbished and couldn’t fault anything.

> The rooms were fantastic. Very spacious and modern decor. We had a Studio Gold Suite with Partial Sea View and we stayed Half Board for 10 days in August.

> We are pleased we stayed HB as there wasn’t anywhere to eat outside the hotel. We ate in the buffet restaurant and the food was fantastic, bit busy at certain times but we did tend to eat early before the rush. Lots of choice of foods which suited our daughter. We did not eat in the other restaurants because with HB you had an allowance off your final bill but with the buffet there was no extra costs and the food was excellent. Plus with the buffet you didn’t need to book and the other restaurants you had to book and some nights they were full. We did eat in the sports bar one lunch which was fine.

> The location of the hotel was a bit remote. We would have preferred to be in a larger resort in a nice area so we tended to stay in the hotel only because there was literally nowhere to go.

> There was entertainment by the pool every day. The guitarist was our favourite and he was excellent.

> The kids clubs were very good. Experienced friendly staff and the manager at the younger kids club was excellent and very professional. We highly recommend these clubs. My daughter enjoyed the arts and crafts especially when it was really hot outside and the kids clubs had air con. They always had lots to do.

> We did find it quite expensive for drinks etc in the hotel including round the pool.

> We were mainly at the pool nearest to our hotel but we did go to the Beach Club pool which was a lovely pool but since the other pool was nearest to our hotel we stayed there. The adults only pool looked lovely but we did not go there. The pools were heated which made such a difference and they supplied beach towels which was great. There was no fighting for sun-beds which I thought there would be. There was always plenty of sun-beds.

> We highly recommend this hotel and would go back again. We probably wouldn’t go back for another 10 days again only because there is nothing outside the hotel but we are glad we went.
