Tajima Direct was a great with helping me get new lenses for my wife sunglasses. She had gotten a pair of Maui Jim's a few years back. She really likes the sunglasses but last year had gotten a scratch right in the middle of one of the lenses. For her birthday I wanted to see about replacing the lenses. This was a great company to work with. I emailed them and they got back to me by the next day. They made sure that I got what is was wanting. Would use them again in the future.

I am extremely impressed with the quick turn-around, the quality of the replacement lenses, the reasonableness of their price and the phenomenal customer service!!!

This company is top notch. I was sceptical about sending them my Maui Jim sunglasses for replacement lenses at first but, the new lenses are very well made with incredible quality and the clarity is probably better than my Maui Jim originals. I would highly recommend them for lenses.

I would rate Tajima Direct with 12 stars if that were an option. Tajima first replaced the lenses in a pair of MauiJim prescription sunglasses, and now a second replacement in a pair of nonprescription RayBan sunglasses. AMAZING! I always thought there was no better than MauiJim, and that RayBan came a close second. Tajima Direct has pushed them out to 2nd and 3rd place! Clarity is incredible, prescription match is excellent, customer service is excellent, pricing is very reasonable. Sweet!

Great work. Super fast. These were my favorite glasses. I got them in Italy and was ready to throw them out. Found Tajima Direct online and tried them out. Within a few days, I had me glasses back and they're like new! Will def use these guys again.

Dealing with Tajima multiple times has been the exact same every time.sometimes I used my box sometimes I had them send a box, always timely. Good communication as to when the glasses were in the process.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say. The value and experience these folks provide is exemplary. It’s only sunglass lenses, but all companies should run like them.

Have used twice, once for prescription lenses and once for regular lenses, both on Maui Jim glasses. Great lenses, great service and great pricing. Highly recommend!

I had a difficult pair of glasses to re-lens, I was turned away by my optometrist office because they couldn’t pop out the lens. I found Tajima-Direct and decided to give them a try, they were able to replace my lenses off with my new prescription and send them back within two weeks! I will definitely continue to use Tajima in the future and highly recommend them to anyone.

I am a retired licensed optician. I needed new lenses in my frames. I spent a lot of time researching online lens companies. Tajima stood out among many lens companies. First of all they don’t use polycarbonate which doesn’t have the best optics. I liked the idea of them being a Japanese concern. I have just received my second pair from them and couldn’t be happier. The optics are consistent between the two pairs. Their customer service is excellent. Any inquiries gets a courteous and fast answer.

I scraped up my Oakley glasses and was stunned by the replacement cost. Relative told me about replacement lenses so started shopping. Saw several companies (some with lower price points), but liked what I saw here, so tried Tajima-Direct.

Ordered online, received the pre-paid box from them in mail, sent my glasses out. About a week after receiving the box from me, I received a note my new lenses were installed and were on way back.

Opened the box, and took out glasses. Well packed and protected for shipping. (old scuffed up lenses were included and those got trashed instantly). Put them on and I was amazed at how good they are!

As others have said in reviews, the Tajima lenses are quite likely better quality, and clarity than OEM.

Just got them today and so durability is not known yet, but I expect them to last well. (The OEM from Oakley scratched and were ruined after less than about 15 days of wearing, so gotta be better than that, right??).

Glare reduction is excellent, and even on a bright, day the sight through them is crisp, clear and definition is outstanding.

Extremely pleased with quality at the price and look foward to wearing these for a long time to come. I would have zero doubt about referring someone to Tajima-Direct.

I have been using the cheap yellow polarized lenses from amazon for my twilight hour fishing. I did a bunch of research on lenses and the prevailing favorites seem to be the Smith 40% transmission lenses that don’t seem to be on the market anymore. I think i found one other that is also in the over $250 price tag people recommend.

Instead i went on ebay and found a cheap but nice pair of lensless Maui Jim’s and sent them in to Tajima and got their Yellow Green 40 Silver Mirror. These have been AMAZING for cloudy days and that push past sunset. I used them for highway night driving to test them out and they made everything clearer and crisper.

for $100 you can use any frames you want to and get amazing glasses. Prescription too if you need it.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Received the mailing label and within 2 days of putting it in USPS mail I received confirmation that Tajima received the frames. Juan, ABO certified technician sent me three different lenses replacement ideas with photos and mock-ups and made his recommendation of which he thought would be best. Within a few days, I received my frames back safe and sound in the mail, and they look absolutely perfect. The lenses and craftsmanship of the installation are of excellent quality. The price is also very reasonable and fair for the excellent craftmanship and wonderful and responsive customer service. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for high quality lens replacements that is also reasonably priced with personal customer care.

Sent frames in for Sunglass lens replacement. No problem with timely delivery. Quality of lenses excellent. Very clear. I’m sensitive to any distortion and these are optically excellent. I will use them again.
