Kort batteritid, kjapp kundeservice

Kjøpte en Tailit Pet for to uker siden.

Litt misvisende info ang batterilevetid og livetracking.
Batterilevetiden er kun oppgitt i standby-modus og det står ingen steder hvor lenge du kan ha på live-tracking.
Lang historie kort er vi fri for gps-chip, og ingen anelse om hvor lenge den har vært på katten etter den gikk tom for strøm før han har klart å kvitte seg med den.

Tok kontakt med kundeservice, de var enige at det var misvisende info, og ny enhet er på tur. Kjapp og effektiv kundeservice.

Ellers er brikken liten nok til at katten ikke ser ut til å bry seg nevneverdig om den. Appen fungerer greit. Så lenge man husker å slå av/på livetracking når man åpner/lukker appen vil det nok fungere bra.

Vi beklager for at det har vært litt utydelig info når det kommer til batteritid. Om live-sporingen står på hele tiden så vil batteriet tømmes fortere. Som du sier så er batteritiden oppgitt etter "normalt bruk" hvor man oppdaterer lokasjonen kun noen ganger per dag.

Fornøyd!

Kjøpte Tail it til katten min etter at han i løpet av sommeren stakk av og var borte hhv to og tre uker.
Nå får han på seg gps’en før han går ut, og jeg har ved to av to anledninger funnet ham igjen, spot on.
Gps’en bruker etter min erfaring ikke noe særlig med strøm så lenge live-sporing ikke er aktivert.
Treg lokasjons-oppdatering og respons på lyd- og lys-aktivering, men ikke noe å klage over.
Anbefales til alle med utforskende katter!

Appalling customer service avoid

Very quick delivery. However the unit doesn’t work doesn’t even switch on so can’t comment on the product itself. What I can comment is the appalling customer service. They are refusing to refund my purchase unless I return at my cost. This is despite that UK consumer law is very clear that the consumer should not be out of pocket in returning faulty goods. They claim incorrectly that as they are Norwegian these laws do not apply. If you are the uk I would definitely avoid at all costs. Now a PayPal dispute raised.

Lost kitten, tracker hasn't worked for hours

Bought this for my kitten who has just learned to jump the fence. Tonight the unthinkable happened and he didn't come home after several hours. In all this time the tracker has not been able to be found and so the light and alarm also can't be turned on. I'm in an area with excellent phone signal and have followed all instructions. Do not buy, its a complete waste for when you desperately need it. Have requested a refund, will see how that goes. So upset given the need for it now

Pet tracker doesn’t have history

Pet tracker doesn’t have history, you can only see latest. If you would have history you could see last couple of locations and see if the last one is an gps/WiFi outlier.

Probably don’t have history due to the fact that they update the position way less than advertised.

Don’t buy!

Not fit for purpose, rude, unhelpful. Scam!

This product is not fit for purpose - Absolutely do not buy any version of it. I purchased two cat trackers, they just do not work, the location doesn't update. The support team is rude and unhelpful. They also refuse to refund, despite the product being wholly unfit for purpose. They also make claims of a 14 day free trial period, this is another lie. You have to pay on day 1 the subscription cost to use the product, and there is no free trial. The company hides behind return shipping costs and customs fees to avoid refunds. I hate them, they have stolen my money.

Så langt dårlig erfaring med denne

Så langt dårlig erfaring med denne! Den oppdaterer seg ikke i appen, forespørsler om å slå på lyd og lys gir ingen respons (ene gangen kom lyset på flere timer etter at jeg slo det på i appen). Kundeservice er stengt i åpningstiden de selv viser til, brukermanualer (som de oppgir link til i pakningsvedlegg) finnes ikke, kun latinsk eksempeltekst som vises på nettsiden, og det er mangelfull beskrivelse på pakningsvedlegget. Sendte e-post til support men har fortsatt ikke mottatt svar.

Not suitable for cat, not as good as traktive

The tail it pet collar is smaller and lighter than traktive, I own both.
Unfortunately the performance just not good enough.
It is extremely slow to respond to the app commands, the map location is much less accurate than traktive.
It is also more cumbersome to set up.
I have tried it on both my cats.
I would prob recommend this product for dog owners that just need an indication of the location of their pets, but no precision.
Not worth the money, even if it is cheaper.

Help

I just acquired Tail it pet and I can’t make it work. I paid for a one year subscription and the app can’t detect my tracker. I don’t know what to do. When typing in the phone number from the card it asked for a prefix and it wouldn’t let me use my country’s (Spain). I guessed as the company is from Norway I should use their prefix so that’s what I did. Don’t know if that’s the problem but I still can’t make it work. Who can I contact to fix this or get a refund in case i need it? The SIM card is in the tracker, the device is charged and turned on

Ustabil og dårlig service

Ustabil og dårlig service

For det første var de meget besværlig at få til at virke og support var dårlig. Den er ret stor og tung til en kat. Mistede først den ene men kunne ikke finde den udfra GPS. SÅ viste nummer 2 jeg havde at min kat var 3 km væk(jeg chekkede, den var ikke der), og nu står der at GPSen er i lufthavnen(!) Har heldigvis set mine katte siden, og nr 2 tail it er væk.
Det var en dårlig men dyr oplevelse.

Veldig fornøyd

Veldig fornøyd, bruker litt til på å finne lokasjon. Men utenom det funker den bra! Savner å kunne få se hvor pus har vært ila dagen.

Pre order information is not aqurate

I bought the bike tracker.

They have no measurements on their site. They promote to buy and with free shipping and return it if it doesn't fit. But import tax was higher than the device itself and the return from the EU to Norway. It doesn't work, but it was a close call. Only 2 cm too long.

They have pictures of a race bike with the device recessed, but it doesn't look to be designed for recessed mounting, and the curve of a race bike is too high to fit the device without cutting loose the rubber. So, it's not invisible.

No historical tracking, live location at the time you open the app.

It would be better to have measurements and requirements on the site and renders that show that the device is sticking out the handlebar.

Bad experience

I bought the tail it pet tracker for my cat. It worked only once in a while, the app could hardly ever update the position of the tracker. I was told I wasn‘t the only one with this problem and should be patient, because they were trying to fix it. I asked the customerservice to prolong the 30 days give-back-garantee, which they ignored. So I decided to send the tracker back. They would not pay for the retour, even though the tracker didn‘t function. This feels like a rip off to me, since I bought a non functional device plus booked the app for a month. The customer service answers in a friendly way, but is not helpful at all! For me tail it is a complete disaster. I won‘t send the tracker back, since the costs are so high it‘s just not worth it. 40€ down the drain. 😡

Great customer service, but trackers only work with 2G

First of all, customer service was excellent. I live in the US, a phone call was out of the question so I sent an e-mail and had a response the next day. I initiated a chat and everything was taken care of in a speedy professional matter. The reason I give only 3 stars is because the trackers will only work with 2G cellular coverage and that requirement is not mentioned anywhere in the advertisements or on the web site. There isn't any 2G coverage in my area. Due to all of that, the company is processing me for a full refund and they are covering the cost of return shipping. I can't ask for more than that. I would suggest the web site be updated to highlight the 2G requirement.

We do our best to preemptively check orders and coverage in those areas, but I can see this was not checked beforehand in this case. Very helpful and friendly customer…

Very helpful and friendly customer support. They answered all my questions, collar arrived within just a few days, and when my cat lost her collar with the tracker on within hours of leaving the house, they very kindly sent me a new one and refunded my subscription. Can't ask for more than that really.

I received the product without any…

I received the product without any problem but it just didn't work with any degree of accuracy. Waste of money, so I returned it. Product was sent back on the 10th March and they received it on the 30th March. Since then nothing. Several conversations through a chat bot have got nowhere. Finally, after insisting, I got the number for their customer support team which is constantly engaged. Absolutely useless. They say refunds are processed within 1-3 business days - what a joke. Read the reviews before buying. 3 weeks of trying and no meaningful contact with anyone. Buy from this company at your peril.

1/ tail it customer Service is awful

1/ tail it customer Service is awful. 4 attempts at email NO RESPONSE!
2/ the product does not work as indicated.
3/To send it back to Norway is $ 58, not worth it.
4/ It does not work beyond the confines of your wifi , If at all,
5/The app is terrible , basically worthless.
6/ I can go on and on . but I've spent enough time on this junk.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

The Tail it shopping website is broken…

The Tail it shopping website is broken - meaning that when you enter your credit card details it tells me that the purchase did not succeed. So, I tried again. Same message. Used a different card, same message, Next day I find that both Visa cards were charged. I e-mailed the company and was able to cancel the order and get a full refund on all 3 transactions. However because I was paying in Canadian dollars I got hit on the exchange rate on the refund. All 3 refunds cost me about $20 Canadian, for a product I didn't even receive! So beware of buying items from Europe if you are in Canada - quite apart from the ruinous duties and taxes you'll have to pay if you return an item, that item could be stuck for months in customs, by which time whatever "free return" window will have elapsed.
