The firm called New Holme Energy were at my house for 3 days. They fitted insulation, extractor fans and window vents. I found them polite and professional and worked extremely hard to complete within the time threshold.
Diamond Boilers removed and replaced radiators and the old boiler to an air to water heat pump which I am very happy with again the men worked extremely hard and we're very knowledgeable in their own areas. The Project Manager was called Michael who was in constant touch who sorted any problem which occurred.

Big Waste of time. They couldn’t secure ECO4 funding even though I live in a house that has solid walls, no insulation at all, single glazed, with a 20 year old non condensing boiler, suspended floor, pitched roof with no insulation, 130 yr old house. It took them 6 weeks to tell me they couldn't do it. They did an EPC rating that was higher than other houses on the street that had better efficiency (double glazed etc). Makes absolutely no sense. If my house doesn't qualify I don't see how any houses qualify.

My experience with Switch has been nothing short of brilliant starting from the amazing co-ordinator Tamarah who was always organised and available at the end of the phone ensuring a stress free and fast service, to each and every tradesman who were all quick, clean and trustworthy. Beyond Exceptional...

Switch Energy Network is, without a shadow of a doubt, a firm that is beyond exceptional. They have not only transformed our home, but also our lives as a result of their ardent determination to provide the highest quality workmanship at a remote location that is nothing short of an absolute nightmare to access.

They ensured that our needs and wishes were met throughout and project managed the work expertly, organising contractors that were professional, polite, reliable and, critically, were aware of the fact that the owner had hidden disabilities following acute brain injury.

The Project itself essentially involved the complete restoration and transformation of a timber frame home that had an EPC rating of 'F' and was costing in excess of £1,000.00 per month in electricity during the winter months, and was still cold and starting to suffer from mold and damp.

The property was essentially 'skinned', rotten timbers were removed and replaced, internal insulation was then added, the property was then wrapped in a foil blanket, battened air gap, boarded and a breathable / waterproof membrane fitted. New windows were then installed and a further 100mm of insulation, which was then rendered with a waterproof flexible silicone render.

The look and character of the property was then reintroduced with decorative timber features to the exterior.

We then had a new central heating and unvented hot water system fitted and solar panels.

Our first electricity bill after completion of the works was a summer bill, which the year before had been £315.00 in July 2023 and for the same period after all the work had been completed had been reduced to £158 and it had been colder that year!

Our home, and hot water, are both noticeably hotter. Rooms also require much less to heat and retain that heat for many hours, whereas previously the heat loss was phenomenal, the heat would escape in a matter of minutes and trying to keep warm in winter was likened to setting fire to fifty pound notes at a rate of knots! The difference now is profound, our home is warm everywhere, it stays warm, it's comfortable and the joy of living in our beautiful home has been restored, the cost reductions also mean we can continue to enjoy living in our home for many more years to come.

We will be forever grateful to Switch Energy Network for all of their hard work and expertise in making this project the success that it was!

The guys began working on my home on the 2/9/24 although with the surveys done by a few different companies previously the work has began.
Firstly the plasterers came and made good where they had to, 2 days later after he had came and measured the windows, put it this way, he measured them and after constructing them and coming to fit them 5 days later, he had 5 main windows in without a single problem!!, the guys a magician!!, all this is being done for me on a grant, by SWITCH ENERGY NETWORK, the work so far, top class, not thought of any kind of complaint as being a Bricklayer by trade myself, I couldn’t find a complaint of any kind!!, I would so much like to thank mr Dominic McHale and mr Callum Keely who are both gentlemen and should anyone wish to reach these gentlemen call SWITCH ENERGY NETWORK , on 07498359368, they may well be able to do for yourselves what they are doing for myself on my property. And being a tradesman myself I will genuinely recommend them and the company to anyone as they “do exactly as it says on the tin!!.”

From qualifying to job finish was at lightning pace, every worker went above and beyond to finish the job all were very hard workers and friendly, it was managed beautifully and with constant communication I never felt lost, I would highly recommend this company, five stars all round 😁

It’s a good government incentive if you’re eligible for the scheme. It’s going to keep our house warm during the winter months. Project managers are on hand to answer any queries.

Every stage was handled very smoothly, and everything happened quickly from initial approach to full completion of insulation, heat pump and solar. We were given dates and timescales for each installation and all teams arrived on time and completed within the timeframe given. The initial survey was done efficiently and thoroughly, our project manager Callum and also Tamarah were helpful and accessible, available to answer questions and action anything needing following up. Very impressed by the overall smooth operation.

Great experience lovely people to deal with recommend 101%

The system is useless the longest it stayed on without issues is a few months had it in since march 23 lost count how may times they have come out to REPAIR it left for weeks at time with no heating or water the guys that come out and staff on phone always friendly but the wait for repairs and amount of breakdowns totally CRAZY I WISH I NEVER HAD IT INSTALLED at least with the other system it only broke down once (LPG) in 8 yrs and was fixed within 48 hrs

Lucky enough to be granted a complete insulation, Hybrid Boiler, solar panels etc.This scheme was organized by Switch with Beautrix as the project manager, from the outset there was a comprehensive itinerary of contractors coming,when and time, the complete project was professional and high standard of work, to the point of daily calls from Beatrix of my satisfaction, and contracters leaving site clean and tidy, and all so helpful.
