This company does not want to fix…

This company does not want to fix issues. I have case #1862126 and have had 35 email exchanges and the issue is still not fixed. I simply want a kickstand that works! I even offered to send the bad one back at my cost, just give the address to ship it to and who's attention. I will get some bogus reply because they don't want to send me a kickstand that works because they don't have one.

Swagtron T6 Purchase

I had a few questions regarding the Swagtron T6. The Swagtron representative I chatted promptly answered answered all my questions. The product was easy to purchase. However, I gave the company 4 stars instead of 5 because they do not have a basic one-year warranty on the product. I had to purchase this for an additional price. I would have hoped that on a new purchase that this is the minimum the company could offer to stand by their product. I have not yet received the product and hope that their should be no issues for at least a year.

Broken Scooter and a terrible customer service experience

My son received an electric scooter as a birthday present but he only rode it here and there because it made him nervous. By the time it needed to be charged it seemed like it was charging as the light on the charger lit up and changed to green, but the scooter will not turn on or work. The worst part of the situation was I contacted Swagtron thru their contact us and filled out the information several months ago and no one ever contacted me back. Now it seems it is past the warranty so it is no longer covered. Will definitely not purchase from this company again

Really good customer service and I love…

Really good customer service and I love the product even though it stopped working after maybe 20 times that I used it but other than that I love this product because I'm an avid scuba diver and I use it for hunting on beach diving. But thank God it was able to be repaired at a reasonable price. Thanks again

Swagtron durability

According to Swagtron's repair company, water was inside the battery compartment and ruined the battery. The scooter was only used by an adult to travel to/from university classes. However, it was ridden while it was raining outside but I am shocked this fairly standard use would incapacitate the scooter. Disappointing to say the least.

UPDATED (at end): I had done my research before visiting website...

I had done my research before coming to website. Wanted to order direct so that I didn't get a board that has been sitting in a distribution hub somewhere for the last two years. Order was easy and warranty is acceptable (even with buyer being responsible for potential $50 return shipping expenses). Shows me they'll back up their product, even tho they require buyer to demonstrate commitment (and avoid sham buyer returns) by paying return shipping.
UPDATE:
I downloaded a T6 owner's manual before ordering, and it states the item has a one year warranty. Got the board with paperwork inside the box that says it has a 90 day warranty. I downloaded the manual again, and this one reads 90 day warranty. I contacted customer service asking when the policy changed. I also mentioned a slight assembly issue. The rep says he doesn't know when the policy changed and is happy to help correct the assembly issue. The message came to me from an address which won't allow me to reply. I think he should have taken a moment to find the answer to my question and should have given more info on what I need to do next. It has been a few days now, and I have no clue if the rep plans on getting back to me or if I need to submit a new contact form.
Also, I see nothing to indicate manufacture date on the board, so have reservations about the entire company now.
2ND UPDATE:
The rep never got back to me, and after posting my issue, I got what seems like a sassy reply from the manufacturer suggesting I contact them if I need anything. I did contact them. The said they'll be happy to help, then never provided me the RMA number to get the board fixed. Naturally, way less than a year later, the issue I reported seems to have contributed to the board failing. It lasted about four months, I contacted them the day I got the board about issue, and they've done zero to stand by the product. Waste of $300+. The rep still hasn't bothered messaging me back, and when I reply to the email he sent, I get a delivery failure notification. I feel deceived and scammed.

Defective Kickstand with No Replacement

Bought a EB-6 and the kickstand was defective and never worked. Contacted Swagtron and was advised the kickstands were "out of stock" and to check back with them every 2-3 weeks. What? How about YOU send me a replacement when "they are back in stock". They must be a high demand item to be out of stock. Pretty lousy customer service.

Sent a defective, used item and no follow-up for weeks

I purchased a scooter from Swagtron.com, but they sent me a defective (and obviously used) item. It seems like they just sent a returned item. So I made a return request two weeks ago and sent the pictures they asked. They said the appropriate department was working on this, but I am not sure this should take more than two weeks. I regret that I purchased it from the manufacturer website, not a customer-friendly retailer.

YOU SHIPPED ME THE WRONG BIKE…

I just unpacked my two Ebikes and was finishing the assembly of the EB8 that SWAGTRON sent when I realized this was not the bite I had ordered. I had ordered the EB15 which is lighter, has a different wheel size and has a 21 gear shift as compared to the 7 gear shift of the EB8. Furthermore I liked the look of the Viper15 better. I never authorized the change. I just got round to unpacking the two bikes last night when I ran into a problem where the left pedal on the EB8 will not screw into the pedal arm as the threading appears to be stripped at the start of the arm. That is when I realized I had the wrong bike. It is impossible to get through on the phone. I was most frustrated! Just like the previous reviewer - their after sales customer service is really bad when I finally got through. I offered to keep the wrong bike if they compensated me for it and replaced the defective pedal assembly. They said they could do neither and that I would have to retrieve the original packaging boxes etc (which I had placed in our recycle room) and ship the bike to them. They had the nerve to suggest there could be a restocking fee (for them sending me the wrong bike!) and that I would have to place a new order to purchase the correct bike after they process the refund that could take upto 10 days. So TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY AND I WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO RIDING MY NEW BIKE. In stead I had to retrieve the packing materials and dissassemble the bike to repack it! They won't even do an exchange for the correct bike or offer to replace the defective pedal assembly if I had reluctantly accepted the wrong bike. THEIR AFTER SALES SERVICE IS THE WORST. DON'T BUY FROM THEM. PAY EXTRA AND GET YOUR BIKE FROM SOMEONE THAT STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT.

EB12

The customer service here absolutely sucks. The first day riding my EB12 less than 8 miles noticed that the pedal assist was not working so I called swagtron thinking it was something I was doing wrong. I got disconnected the first time so I called back. The second representative I talked to had the lowest energy ever, he spoke as though he could care less. I feel totally unconfident in this product I hope I did not make a mistake and waste my money.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever, the first agent Ziro was no help whatsoever, the chat CS kept disconnecting. I receive what was supposed to be a new item, however it was clearly used and scratched up in many places. A simple part replacement was all that was needed and they would not do this.

Is it worth it?

Process was simple and easy to purchase. Just a bit annoyed spending another 300 on the same hoverboard I purchased last year. The older one worked fine for a few weeks after I first purchased it, up until it started doing random stops and powering off at random. When I called the phone support line to speak about the issues occurring, the man who I spoke multiple times clearly did not care about giving decent customer. Hopefully the same issues don't occur again. Overall, riding the board is solid.

Stay Away: 1-Star is Generous

I'd strongly suggest that nobody purchases an item from this company.

I purchased an electric bike: after a couple of months the tires started popping regularly and the handle bar screws were breaking. I found a local electric bike shop who consistently fixed the issues - but they warned me every time I visited that the original bike screws are faulty and keep unscrewing (they needed to tighten all the screws whenever I visited). I was naïve and believed in my expensive bike: so continued to use it with regular servicing. The bike literally fell apart while I was riding it (the seat fell right off). With 3 broken fingers I wrote to Swagtron to warn them of the issue - and they said 'we'll get back to you ASAP'. After 2-3 months of waiting I reached back out and they eventually asked that I mail the bike back to them for review and fixing. I just received the bike back (with a "Warranty Covered" notice) and it isn't even fixed - its missing screws in the handle bars (which are hanging off it), etc. It is un-rideable.

All of this has happened in only 1.5 - 2 years.

Similar to the 25% of the reviews that are also 1-star, I believe that this company might have some of the worst customer service I've ever interacted with; in fact, the only company that's had a worse review from me was the subject of a BBB complaint.

UPDATE: Swagtron did respond to this review and sent me the part to fix my bike (Their response is appreciated, although it's at least a bit sad that they didn't respond to my my multiple emails, or fix my birthday when they had it).

Where is my scooter? Already paid

I recently purchased the Swagtron Scooter via HSN, two weeks later I still haven’t received it. Everytime I call HSN I’m told that it’s in packaging and it’s coming directly from the warehouse of Swagtronics. They’ve sent emails and tried to contact the warehouse to have them send the scooter off. It has a delivery date for Aug. 15th. Today is the Aug. 14th and I still have no tracking number. After reading these reviews, it kinda makes me wonder if I even made the right decision. I give everyone a fair chance so I won’t be bias. However, This makes no sense that I’ve paid for a product and was given the delivery date and it hasn’t even been shipped off.
