Fraudulent policies
On only my second payment, there was a hick up with my credit union's bill pay and my payment was delayed. We received a collection notice immediately notifying us that our payment was late and they doubled my payment via fines. As far as I'm concerned this is criminal, at least it should be. Of course, I had to give a one-star rating which seems unfair to those poor companies out there who might actually be trying to do a good job!

They have taken more percentage in interest then they should. Monthly has been up to 99% and 1% towards principal. How can they get away with that. The contract information we have doesn't show how they come up with what interest they take monthly when it is greatly different then the month before. Paying the same amount.

I financed something I could have easily paid in full cz "free financing! Why not?!" Well, it is not free financing for the length of the repayment of the loan. It is free financing for an arbitrary amount of time at the end of which you will receive no warning or notification and they will charge you full interest. Is that date buried somewhere in a contract? Possibly. But believe me they attempt to obscure it. Even when you call customer service they do not point out to you that you will be charged finances in what would be the middle of your loan period. What they tell you is as long as you pay on time and never miss a payment you will not accrue interest. The entire business is predicated on deception. You guys got me for two grand but I'm going to do everything I can to warn other people off using this company.

I’d give them a zero star if I could. I will never finance with this horrible company again. I was given a 18 month promotion period with no interest, had all but $300 paid, was ready to pay it off this month as I believed this was the last month to pay it off. Come to find out it was may that was the last month of the promotional period. I understand I mixed up the dates. But they couldn’t send an email reminding you that the promotional period was about to end? What an absolute joke. Screw this company, I will never finance through them again. Bad Faith Servicing - Intentionally Difficult to Add New Loans
I've had quite a few loans with this company over the last decade. My HVAC company sends all loans to SVC and I've paid them all off without ever missing a payment. In recent years, however, SVC has made it increasingly and I believe intentionally more difficult to add new loans to the online customer portal. That's always how I've scheduled my auto-payments but over time I've noticed a shift in how long they take to process these requests (they won't even consider it until the "welcome letter" which takes "7-10 business days" but can be later than that and then another "7-10 business days" to actually facilitate the request you made to add the loan to your account. That's already almost a month and the first payment is due within the first month. It's also been on more than one occasion where they claim I never made these request(s) to add the loan(s) to my portal. It has happened more than once now so I believe SVC are making it difficult on purpose to try to increase the likelihood of default. I think this is textbook bad faith servicing and/or unfair or deceptive practices.

My interaction with Dawn Ruchman was very positive. Dawn understood my issue and proceeded to rectify the problem. Very understanding and considerate. I’m very thankful for Dawn’s assistance.
Poor communication
They took a bit longer than expected to send a letter in the mail regarding my AC loan. They also did not send any emails to sign up to an account to pay back the loan. That was interesting to me considering the current tech era. When on a phone convo with a representative, they were not at all concerned with these issues. Eventually received the letter and received instructions on the phone call to set up a log in online. A bit delayed if you ask me. And if I hadn’t received the letter (if it was accidentally sent to the wrong address in my residence where there are many mobile homes) I would have been accruing interest unaware.

When we called, we were transferred to a representative, Marchanis was her name, right away. She was very polite and helpful in answering our questions. and supplied us with our contract. Directing us to the area we need to read. She answered all of our questions, even though we didn't like all the answers, presenting them professionally, and accurately. It was a very informative, and productive encounter. We were very pleased with the service.

Wrong address-still
My husband and I have lived in and owned our home for over 10 years. About a year ago, we started receiving a bill for someone who doesn't live here. I made two phone calls to inform them that this person doesn't reside here, and we have never had A-Z Windows at our home.
Today, they sent someone to my house. They banged on my glass door and taped a note to my door about this person's collection (funnily enough, we also received the same bill we've been getting in the mail today).
I called the company again and asked for a supervisor. The person refused and asked for my name (again) and phone number for a callback. I refused. How hard is it for a company to find the actual address of a person?

I will NEVER use this company again! Took out a loan for a/c. Was within my budget but then I had health issues and got way behind. Totally my fault. Went to get a home equity loan to consolidate bills, including this one. It was reported to the credit union as a mortgage not a loan. They refused to send a letter preventing me from getting the home equity loan on a house that is completely paid for.

When windows were purchased through Windows Nation, LLC I was assured of no collateral required as I had great credit & no issues. I find out later this unethical company attached a lein to my house for the loan. If that's not bad enough, they never provided paperwork to make the first payment (until after it would have been due). I had to call, get info such as payment address, account number, etc & get payment out immediately. Then, every month they continue their efforts to make your payment late! You can never wait for the bill to arrive or they will take your property for paying late. Not one bill in all these months has come with more than 7 days for payment to get to them after receiving the bill. Today I received their bill on 4/8 and it is due 4/12!!! Even the statement date (never a date on envelope so who knows how long processing to mail takes. For it to always take 7 to 10 days for me to receive it can't be immediate) & due dates are only 15 days apart at most. So their intentions are clear they dont want you to pay your bill on time. Only unethical, dishonest companies conduct business like this. Seems this practice goes along with all the other complaints about this company. Don't get involved with service finance, go elsewhere or don't make your purchase until you can find an honest company. I do not provide banking info (ACH) to any business or suspected business who has unethical business practices. Imagine what they could do with that info? I schedule with my bank before receiving service finance bill. If i could refinance to get away from them I would. I will pursue dumping them. *Date listed below is only the most current bill received, but it has happened for every billing cycle for nearly 2 years. I also took a photo of bill, but don't see a way to post.

I bought shed on a promotion of 6 months no interest, but Tuff Shed apparently sold the financing to Service Finance Company LLC and from day 1 I am now accruing some type of incredible interest rate, a $206 payment only creditted $113 to principal and $92 to interest.
