Absolutely useless, trying to do a recovery for my Xbox and there’s ’not enough information’ I’ve given bank details, addresses and everything. Funny how a simple hacker can just enter my account and change the email over but it’s impossible to change it back. Talking to support again and again giving the same old script

An update on our xbox has caused us not to be able to log in due to an email address no longer accessible. They just say nothing they can do.

Xbox refused to fix my £150 controller under warranty and didn't give me a clear reason why. The controller was in good cosmetic condition and checked all the boxes for a warranty repair. Warranty expired the day after they denied the repair because it had to be shipped to Germany.
Horribly incompetent
They barely understand English. That’s the first and biggest issue. We called for refund and it took two hours and four different people to still finally be denied for the refund even though their supervisor admitted that it was their system’s fault for the issue. Xbox customer support is a joke. Can’t stand using Xbox. Get better employees that can understand people.
Really poor now
Xbox is not worth using now, from the cheapy Xboxes they manufacture that last a year a piece.now I still have my original Xbox & that works after nearly 20 years! to a retarded 3 type of online pass, that just seems nothing than a money grab, half the achievements don't even unlock on so many games now when you complete them, xbox say 'quote' "Allow up to 72 hours for this synchronisation to take place. If it hasn't appeared after 72 hours, try unlocking the achievement again" most people don't want to do the achievement again some are really hard & or very time consuming, & half you would have to restart the full game just for hope... But not guarantee it will unlock this time, really poor do, even Nintendo are better than that 😨
Xbox has finally ruined my opinion of them
I have been using Xbox since the very xbox, used the 360 til about 5 years ago, and just got me a new xbox one S for Christmas 2024. Now I'm happy with the console, but I am very disappointed and angry about the ultimate game pass and cloud gaming. I've been using it since it came out, ive always done the monthly membership and seems they always up the price of it, and then up the price of rewards for points. Making it impossible to get anything of any real value. Then they changed the rewards system to a joke. The old monthly gave 1000 points and this new monthly reward is 350 and doesn't track very good, if anything there forcing you to game for awhile before it tracks. Basically making it inconvenient for the people paying for this service, and now I gotta wonder what service is there if they just cut the reward points earned and increased the cost of rewards for points. If this continues I might have to just say I give up, cancel my membership and ask for my money back for lieing for services that they say they give. Because the cloud gaming hardly works for me and sucks even on the new console. Then the rewards is a joke. So I'm paying $20 per month and $240/year for a joke.

I went from loving you guys for years to hating your customer support and now the team itself.
And now your company is pushing away from console and pushing for computers as the future. All I got to say is I'm not made of money and Microsoft you can dig a hole and bury yourself in it because I'm done if this bs continues. I'll cut my $240/year and all the other games I've bought. I might even sue for the time spent and gaming all together for lack of considering the gamer. Especially when your a gaming company as much as you are a computer and all you want to do is help the rich computer people and leave us poor people in the cold. Your decisions as of late show microsoft team is nuts and needs correction. There choices hinder the future of the console and the gamer. If you can't do it anymore and fire thousands to appease your own gain then I'll be refusing to continue as a xbox gamer. I have 10000 hours plus into my xbox career. I'll be sueing for all the games I've bought, and all the times spent because now I can't even say I own the games I paid for since you and ubisoft want to throw it's a gaming license to rent a game title bs.
At this point all gaming companies have lost there way and deserve to be shut down. Because I'm not a happy customer anymore. And if I do sue ill be sueing for pain and suffering as well. At minimum I'll be sueing for millions and if I can ill do billions. Because this ain't right.
And mind you I loved xbox for over 20 years. Now I'm to this point and regret ever touching one.

Cannot get any help from Xbox/Microsoft, I have been trying for 2 weeks now. Its really horrible. I'm tired of going back and forth. How many times do I need to sign in to get help and only to be met by dissapointment.
Microsoft XBOX support failing customers
Game purchased by accident, refund requested within an hour, the game was not downloaded but declined stating too many refunds but no refunds requested previously so this was false. Any purchase generally you have 14 days so not sure why an issue. Managed to eventually speak to an adviser who told me to reply on the email declining, have done that twice with no response, now cannot access the chat again so feels as if I have been blocked from speaking to an advisor. For a multi-million company this is the worse customer care and shows lack of professionalism. I am utterly disappointed and shocked that I am in this position with such a big well known company.

They get away with not fixing the product, deliberately allowing the machine overheat, trading standards and fire safety will be informed as they planned not to fix it under warranty now it’s out of warranty proves it was deliberate on not fixing it
Dreadful Lack of Customer Care
As with a previous recent contributor, I requested a refund on an Xbox product and it was declined, for me on the basis that I have exceeded my refund requests. I have NEVER previously requested a refund from Microsoft! As to challenging their decision, well, I've run into exactly the same issues at the previous contributor - no chat, no callback despite trying several times, no email address or text number I can contact them on. Disgraceful, particularly as the product I wish to have a refund on is totally unfit for purpose, which means they have to refund me legally - but how to talk to someone at MS???
Zero assistance
I requested a refund for a game I accidentally bought, which I didn't even play or install. My refund request was automatically refused with no option to appeal.
The website claims you can call or have a web chat for assistance, but the phone number is hard to find, and there's no clear button to start a chat. It seems deliberately designed to prevent direct contact with support. Instead, you're overwhelmed with generic documentation that doesn't address your specific issue. Absolutely ridiculous service for such a large company.

I wish I can have less than 1 star. i purchased xbox X 2 months ago. Video card had some trouble. i have been on the phone with microsoft for over 2 hours. Now been on hold for over an hours they are telling we are trying to figure out what to do.

absolutely diabolical company
Purchased starship troopers for Xbox series S. played it for 5 minutes. Discovered it was pretty much unplayable as jittering and jumping. Requested refund. Denied. Disgusting service. They have essentially taken my money and I am left with a product I cannot use.

Ich möchte mich über den Xbox Support und den Service von Xbox recht Herzlich bedanken für die Hilfe, den Service und auch den Support, ich kann nur sagen das ich selten einen besseren Service hatte glaube sogar das Xbox der beste ist den ich je hatte. Und ich möchte mal den Bewertern was sagen so wie sie im Wald hinein Schreien so kommt es zurück. Ich hatte ein Problem mit meinem Elite Controller Series 2 und der Xbox Support sowie die Mitarbeiter die Controller Reperieren waren sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Ich spiele schon Jahrzehnte auf der Xbox und bin immer noch zufrieden. Auch der Kontakt war einfach und sehr nett. Kann ich einfach nur weiter empfehlen. VIELEN LIEBEN DANK XBOX TEAM
