The service I got from Tonya on the order desk to Eric and customer service was very refreshing both very patient and knowledgeable. They both exceeded my expectation Tonya by working late 1/2 hour pastor shift that’s an employee of the month for sure. Eric found great solutions and problem solved all without hesitation. It’s nice to deal with a company who cares and push the customer number one thanks summit.

Its nice to see companies hiring the mentally challenged! This store is worst i have ever dealt with. If you like spending hours on the phone and returning parts this store is for you. NEVER AGINE!!!

I ordered a catalytic converter for my 1997 dodge ram and I got it pretty quick actually within 3 days time from Texas to Pennsylvania but when it arrived, I opened the box and there it was not even wrapped sitting loose in a box with a single piece of paper under it. So I pulled it out and inspected it and all it looked good until I see a massive dent in the tip of the exhaust where it connects to the manifold…I would have to pay a return fee to return this item…it could have easily been avoided simply with better packaging it’s just ridiculous I won’t be ordering from summit racing again and hopefully I can get this bend out so it will fit properly.

I made the mistake of giving my car loving husband a gift card for Christmas to Summit Racing. When he applied it to his newly created account it was applied to an existing account that was created many years ago with a long dead email account. A week later, 10+ calls to customer service and despite continual assurances it is fixed it is not. Last straw was 3 calls today issuance of a new gift card number. Once online it shows invalid. Another call to customer service and he was told they only update those once a week. Instead of a happy guy working on his car I have an extremely frustrated unhappy guy NOT working on his car. This is not ok. I will not make the mistake of trying to gift something from Summit Racing again.

Ordered a head gasket and head bolts. They have arrival was supposed to been before the snow storm. Except the head gasket got sent from Ohio to Los Angeles left Los Angeles just to go back to Los Angeles and get stuck there now I'm stuck in the middle of a snow storm with a busted car. I had no transportation to prepare for the snow storm. Had the gasket got here at the original date projected. Everything would have been fine. Now I'm going to lose everything. I will never use summit racing for anything again nor will I recommend them to anyone. They're incompetence and negligence wows me.

Ordered a grill from Summit Racing Equipment after waiting for 2 weeks when it said 2 to 4 days shipping they let me know that they placed the order with the manufacturer when I ordered it obviously they do not stock parts and just sell parts from other companies that they can order this really messed up my build had to go another route after it was too late do not recommend Summit Racing for anything they are irresponsible not worth doing business with period!!!!

I’ve always had good luck ordering from Summit. I’ve been shopping there since the dawn of the internet. Prices and good and they have multiple warehouses so shipping is quick.

I waited 15min to get ahold of someone so rule, I thought I’m talking to some kind of government agency. Good luck with your business

Ok pricing. Representatives are hard to get a hold of and rude once you do. Sending a return is a nightmare. They'll constantly send you received emails after carrier drops off. Milking your return forever. 7 days after my received product email I got another email saying same thing. Tried contacting summit to clear things up but apparently iam in wrong and am stupid. Literally days whole process whould take 10 days. 500 bucks BTW not measly return

I’ll own my part — I should’ve double-checked the fitment. But Summit Racing’s customer service is absolutely pathetic. Their website said the part fit my vehicle, yet it didn’t. I reached out immediately to see if a replacement was possible. Two days later? Crickets. No response.

When I finally did hear back, all I got was a lazy link and “you should have bought this.” That’s not support — that’s a brush-off. No explanation, no offer to help, no sense that they care whether I ever buy from them again.

If your website gives bad fitment info, the least you can do is stand behind it or at least respond to your customers. Instead, Summit Racing proved that once they’ve got your money, you’re on your own.

I’ve spent plenty with them over the years, but this was the last straw. Terrible communication, zero accountability, and a complete absence of customer service.

I bought Crossmember, that came with missing brackets for torque arm, when in the photo was showing complete set. Customer service pure joke. They said that they selling crossmembers without bracket and don't offer bracket as separate piece to buy. They refused solve the issue. After changed picture showing it without bracket in the listing. So when you buy torque arm relocation crosmember, you still can't fit torque arm. I do not recommend this company, pure scam.

UK customers be careful when selecting delivery options. The delivery option was automatically selected when i went to pay. My UK address was registered with them. It asked me where the closest airport to me was. I selected Manchester.....they delivered to Manchester airport not my home address.....a $900 order which included a $200 shipping fee has just cost me another $700 in fees from a greedy courier based at Manchester airport. Summit - you need to DELETE this option off your order system and ONLY offer home delivery - the instructions are not very clear.

I ordered an AC-Delco part from them back in June of this year, I was given a number of ship dates up until Sept 19 when they just cancelled my order without notification. I found out by checking up and saw the order was cancelled. When I called and questioned them they said it took from June to find out from their GM supplier they would not be able to fill the order.
Bottom line if you need a part and they cannot immediately provide you a tracking number within a few day shop else ware. I waited for 4 months in vain. I won't be using them again.

SOLD ME 5 1/2 year OLD TIRES. NEVER BUY TIRES AT SUMMIT!

Called and got the run around. They made it sound like they are doing ME a favor my listening to my complaint.

Ordered multiple times at summit racing equipment. I live in the Netherlands (Europe) and they ship very fast. As long as the parts are in stock, they will be there in a week. I usually do my research on the internet about which parts i want. Sometimes i ask product specific questions to Summit, and they answer correctly and friendly! To me they are a trust worthy, well know (performance) parts supplier. Would definately recommend to everybody. Even sheet metal is no problem, comes without dents.

It's difficult to understand. Summit sold me a filter they swore was for my car and the right fit. It took me days to learn they were wrong. Summit did not compensate me for lost time, so I stopped using them.

Now, a year later, some of the last things I bought from them are starting to brake with less than 1000 miles on them. Summit just refused to return a set of NGK Spark Plug Wires with a lifetime warranty. They literally said lifetime warranties aren't something they cover.

I switched to Walmart to avoid terrible customer service and DEI. They return things, even if I don't want to. What company do you think I'll use from now on? DEI Free Walmart, or Pro-China Summit? Gee, let me think.

Update 9/27/2025

Summit relented, and sent me new cables. NGK wasn't going to. Both are good companies, but need to be held to account. Their customer service needs an upgrade, but they won't hire me to fire the bad employees.

Don’t waste your time and money
My son is fixing up his truck. Summit has recommended parts that seem to never fit. We have been stuck with many of them and have to sell on our own, while returns have been horrible. They have the part and our money now. For some reason we need to wait until the headquarters Canada gets it sent to the U.S.A. So we are at a month and told to check back in 2 weeks. You would think that once it got to the Canadian warehouse it is in their hands now and our return should be processed. I do not recommend this company as most often parts do not fit and returns are non existent.

I used to buy from Summit Racing all the time but they have switched to Ontrac for shipping. Nothing but problems getting orders now. I used to always get orders next day, now, I'm lucky if the order even shows up. If it does show up, its usually several days late. I will not be shopping at Summit until they stop using Ontrac.

I used Summit Racing’s fitment tool to order rear bearings and seals for my 2013 F-150 Raptor. Their site showed the parts as a match based on year, make, model, drivetrain, and engine. Turns out they were incorrect—my mechanic flagged it, and I had to replace them locally at higher cost.

When I contacted Summit, they admitted that their website doesn’t filter submodels like the Raptor unless you specifically go to a buried “Applications” tab—something no normal customer would know to do. So if you’re buying based on Summit’s standard vehicle filters, you can still be served incompatible parts.

They refunded the original parts but offered nothing for the added cost. This is a major flaw in their system, and they take zero accountability. I won’t be ordering from Summit again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who doesn’t want to gamble on whether the part they receive is actually correct.
