Refund saga
25 days since I made the order and still no sight into the delivery or refund. Suites direct have refused to process my refund because the delivery person carelessly left the parcel outside the door and it has gone missing, according to them.
I am now being burdened with going to a police station to report a crime that I DON'T KNOW NOTHING ABOUT . NO CRIME HAS HAPPENED TO ME, I HAVE NOT COMMITTED A CRIME NOR HAVE I WITNESSED ANYTHING.
Just because I was the person who made the order now I am responsible for the delivery.
Secondly for the last 15 days there was no communication from suit direct even though I had written about 10 to 15 emails, in the last two days they have responded because i phoned the head office and they contacted the manager for customer service, but they are super evasive with questions or any requests made . I have been told to go to a police station to report that the delivery has gone missing, I don't know whether it has gone missing or otherwise since I wasn't there. It's not in my place to PUT MY NAME AGAINST A POLICE REPORT FOR SOMETHING I HAVE NOT DONE, WITNESSED OR HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF. SURLY THAT IS NOT MY BUSINESS. But my refund has been refused subject to a police crime number..till the next episode guys BEWARE OF PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM SUITES DIRECT BECAUSE YOU MIGHT LIVE TO REGRET IT. Ongoing.

Firstly, their website is awfully designed and doesn't allow you to cancel or amend orders once placed. Your only option is to reach out to customer support and hope they can assist.
Secondly - please, please pay attention to the reviews discussing returns. I have never known anything like it.
I received the suit but I'd already found another by that time, so the suit was unworn, in its original bags and with tags. Knowing that they were particular with returns, I took it to a nearby branch to hand it in. That was on the 31st July and I still haven't had a refund (as of 11th August).
I emailed support who said it was the store's responsibility. Called the store who advised it was the responsibility of head office. The woman working at the store was very sympathetic, but this can only do so much when hundreds of pounds are on the line.
Awful - if you can shop in branch, maybe your experience would be different. 1* for online orders and returns though.
Can't fault the suits or the service
We used suit direct in Newcastle for 6 wedding suits and cannot fault it. Paul was the person we dealt with and from finding a suit to getting it tailored and collecting, everything ran so smoothly. When we collected our suits we were also given a wedding card which was a really nice touch. Can't fault the shop and would definitely use this shop again. Have recommended to friends :)

My husband needed a suit asap, as our sons engagement was coming up. Nick from Suit Direct at designer outlet in east Derbyshire, was absolutely amazing. Polite and extremely helpful, and excellent judge of size and style my partner required. Would highly recommend, and would go again.

Very poor customer service - Poor delivery
Order placed 13th July 2025 for suits and shirts. Received message from Evri (the courier firm) about order being delivered and person needed to be present at home. As I was away I diverted it to my nearest parcel shop (local post office). Since then no communication from Evri. Tracking shows parcel has been collected. When checked with the parcel shop - they say they have not received any parcel from Evri. Suit direct communication has been very difficult. No contact phone number. email response very slow and issue still unresolved. Repeated email messages from me elicit a reply saying that they have asked Evri to look into it but with no time frame. Cannot contact Evri at all.
Very poor service. Although I have ordered in the past and the clothes are good quality, delivery and customer service appalling - I have paid a lot of money with no goods received and no apology/further communication.
I would give zero stars if I could.
Poor After Sales Service…
I recently purchased (15th July) a Mark Darcy 2 piece suit (£175). I selected the correct size jacket (46) and trouser (36 Regular). The regular trouser is what I always purchase which fits an inside leg of 31”. I wore the suit for the first time on Monday 21st July and was extremely disappointed to note that even though the trouser label states Regular, the actual length of the trouser is short by 2 inches.

I contacted Suit Direct to advise them of the situation but was told that as I had worn the suit it couldn’t be returned.
I then asked if it would be possible to check the inside leg measurement of the stock that they had remaining in the warehouse before I placed a replacement order for the trouser. I was then advised that the QA team would not do that until
I had placed the order. I thought that my request was a reasonable one in that I had previously placed an order and paid for the same on the day yet an incorrect size was sent. I didn’t want to have a repeat performance.
Surely the role of a QA department is to quality assure the goods that the company sells?
Given that I have been a long standing customer of Suit Direct and spent thousands of £ over the years, I expected a better after sales experience.
I have learned a lesson - that is not to shop with Suit Direct going forward. I am now left with a perfectly good suit that I am unable to wear.
Important - Read before you spend money
Important for people to know - suit direct have a seeming aggressive tactic to avoid refunds. I sent 4 items back, well within the stated time. I received an email confirming they had been returned and that my refund was pending. No refund. I then contacted suit direct and their excuse was that I needed to provide proof of postage. I didn't have this but did have the Yodel tracking information to show that my item had been sent and returned. Still claimed that I needed the receipt - which would only prove the Yodel information. Suit Direct very very difficult to deal with. Poor company in terms of customer service - purchaser be ware - you will need all the evidence in the world to claim a refund.

Customer service didn't even try to find a solution for 2k order I have done. I was late 4 days for their return policy. Didn't want a refund but to change sizes. I would not recommand the website. As it was for my wedding and had no assistance from their end.

Poor customer support for returns
Upon returning a suit and having my drop off confirmed by Yodel, 2 months on they are refusing to refund me and have ignored several support tickets. Terrible customer support for a high street retailer.

I Visited merry hill branch on Sunday for an appointment. I was greeted by a polite friendly gentleman called Derek. He helped me find a suit and try various ones. Fantastic service and very helpful. I was pleased with my suit towards the end and would visit again in the future!

Lulu in the Kingston Store was so lovely and helpful. I took my son in for his prom suit and she was so patient even though she was really busy . Lovely suit which we ordered with her and it came within 3 working days
No response from customer service and non existent online chat
Ordered a suit online for £260, had no email through to confirm the order yet the money has come out of my account.
Tried to contact them but there is no telephone number whatsoever. Emailed them, used the chat service on the website but no one ever replied. I’m on day 4 of waiting for an email response but still nothing.
I’ve even called one of the stores near me to ask for a contact number to which they said ‘we don’t have any contact numbers for head office’ which I find hard to believe. Even the person I spoke to on the phone said other people haven’t received emails either.
Appalling customer service. Sort out your customer service, sort out your instant chat as it’s non existent. And sort your emails to customers out so they’re not left in the lurch about their orders.
Awful returns experience
Awful experience with Suit Direct and Carron from Customer Service. Emailed within 30 days to ask for a return of one of the two suits I ordered. They will not honour the return because I did not use the returns portal !!

Lucky last day of sale
Went in today and lucky it was thelast day of sale. We trued different suits on and we were told if the trousers needed altering they can do that. I was also told well what I believed I was told that they could have my items if I needed to order anything sent to my address or in store Free of charge. We needed to order the trousers and I said to be delivered to my home address, no problem. We paid fir the items and off we go. I check my email receipt to see they charge for home delivery so the young lady didn't give clear information about delivery. Will learn from this if i ever have to buy a suit again
