I had terrible customer service from…
I had terrible customer service from this company. I bought a second wine cooler from them as my first one broke due to it not working anymore it wasnt cooling at all. Bought a new one to replace it in September and it states the wine cooler is ‘ Fully Compliant and Includes Full 1-Year Warranty Period for Extra Peace of Mind!’ The cooler stopped working and cooling so as it’s under warranty still I contacted them and straight away they were saying it would have to be sent back to us and see if it’s under the warranty! When it states a full one year warranty everywhere. 8 months after purchase the wine cooler it shouldn’t have stopped working seeing as it was the second one to break. I said it must be a fault with them which they said they don’t have complaints about. Every email I sent was responded to basically saying it won’t be covered under warranty. So what is the point in having one then. I would avoid at all cost.

We would like to clarify that we have advised on several occasions that the unit can be returned to us for warranty assessment. As with all warranty claims, the product does need to be inspected first so we can confirm the fault and whether it falls within the warranty terms.
It is also important to note that this product is a wine cooler, designed specifically for storing wine within the intended temperature range. It is not designed or recommended for storing milk or other perishable dairy products, as this may affect performance and suitability for use.
We do appreciate your frustration, especially as this is your second purchase, and we have not refused to look into the matter. We remain happy to assess the unit under the warranty process if it is returned to us as advised.

Poor customer service support
Driver could not find me. Lived here for 31 years and address label is correct with contact number but no call . Sent back to Subcold and contacted asking them to send out as I am disabled And need for storage of meds during heat. They said can’t send out until courier brings back to warehouse. `DPD tracking shows clearly not delivered and returned to Subcold but won’t send out order .

According to our records, the parcel was returned to us by the courier after they reported being unable to complete the delivery.
As advised by email and live chat, a replacement could be arranged once the original parcel had been received back at our warehouse.

Next day delivery for my Super50 beer fridge. A quality product. The only improvement would be to make the metal shelves stronger as they sag under the weight of beer cans. Overall very pleased.

The Subcold Super35 LED fridge is…
The Subcold Super35 LED fridge is perfect size. It's very quiet in my smallish mancave which is great. It's been running for 3 days now. I had it on 3 initially but two thermometers hanging in the middle of the fridge would not see lower temps than 11 degrees C the first day but it was hot outside and hot in my room. It's now running on max setting (5) and would not see an inside air temp yesterday roughly central in the fridge of 7.6 degrees C. I like my beer colder than that so I'm disappointed it's running on max and can't really get cold enough. Now if I move my thermometers right back away from the door and very close to the back wall above the internal step they do both drop to 3C. But I can't stack all my beers in that one place! I didn't think I'd have to run a fridge on full and still not get desired temps. I like my beer very cold. So yep, disappointed with my purchase.

We’re sorry it hasn’t met your expectations for very cold beers. As described, the lowest temperature for this model is around 3°C, and it’s normal for readings to vary depending on thermometer position, room temperature and fridge loading. For lower temperatures, our APEX Series may be a better option as it is designed to get colder ❄️

Exceeds my expectstions
The first Viva 20 wine cooler I received was damaged in transit and I reported this to customer services. They supplied a replacement which is superb. It is quiet, chills very quickly and actually exceeds my expectations after what had been a disappointing start.
Firms relying on couriers will always be slight hostages of fortune as my first cooler came in a box that had been badly mishandled. The way the problem was dealt with and the quality of the replacement product deserves a 5 star review.
