Flight school is game changing.
Having just completed the flight school course, I can't praise the guys at strong mind enough. In the 6 short weeks, the course helped change my outlook upon falling, climbing, and even helped with aspects of my life outside of climbing. I can't wait to see how this new mindset continues to affect my climbing experiences going forward.

This is so much more than you think
The course they offer is so much more than what it says on the title. I signed up for flight school and I got so much more out of it than I expected. It teaches you a really holistic way of approaching falling and gives you a lot of mind tools that I found deeply impactful. I believe most climbers would benefit from strongmind teachings.

Flight School Course really rocks!!! I am so grateful for having attended this course! Not only is it climbing changing, but also life changing as it provides us with invaluable tools to use in every aspect of our lives!
Hazel, Angus and the whole team are amazing! They explain and guide you all the way through the process of building your fall practice, in a way that feels natural and gradual. The content is very well organised and delivered, and the live meetings keep you accountable for your own work and bring you closer to the community.

Regaining confidence and joy in climbing!
I am currently enrolled in the (active, not prerecorded) Flight School course and am really regaining my confidence in lead climbing and am enjoying it so much more than before attending the class.
It is helping me address my fear of falling in a unique way. Unlike other courses I have taken, the class works on the mindfulness piece from the start, and doesn't jump into falling practice right away. I have found this to be especially useful.
Journaling has been very effective in reminding me to take the time to reflect on what I was truly experiencing and assisting me on when to push forward or when to pull back. We have weekly live video Q&A sessions the help clarify the material. They provide an online community where we can ask questions, post videos for comments, express successes,
The progress is real and something I can use going forward. I feel much more empowered to take on challenges at the appropriate levels of stress.
Major kudos to Hazel and Angus, plus Seb and Rita (hope I'm not forgetting anyone).

Extremely underrated for performance and flow in climbing
Fall practice is currently the most underrated training method for rope climbing. None of your steely finger strength, impeccable mobility, or awesome endurance will get you up an 8A rope route if you can't even step past the bolt or climb that runout. Generally, none of your hard-earned climbing skills will have their full potential if you can't genuinely focus only on the moves on a climb.
I know only a handful of climbers that can climb at their physical limit because they've managed their fear of falling thus. This means that most of us are holding ourselves back, often without even knowing (or wanting to admit) that we are. And the most important part - fall training is perhaps also the best way to find more joy and flow on the wall.
How hard would you climb, and how good would you feel, if you didn't even think about falling while climbing? The fall practice course "Flight School" is currently the best and bang-for-your-buck way of finding out.

Excellent course with real positive impact on my climbing
Performance Hacks is an excellent course packed full of well presented and high quality content. The course really helped to raise my self awareness about my climbing and led me to challenge my perceptions about myself as a climber. Through the course I identified barriers to both climbing enjoyment and performance and the gateways to address these. It showed me how to develop practical strategies and habits to help unlock these gateways and this is already positively feeding through to my climbing performance. I was so impressed I've signed up to Flight School to address fear of fall which I identified as a barrier for me as part of the work on Performance Hacks.

Essential Mindset Training
I really enjoyed my experience taking the “Performance Hacks” Course, and am excited about furthering my journey through mental training with its help!
As others have said below, although this course is directed towards climbing performance, it has a lot of crossover for other aspects of life (there are some lessons I believe should be taught to everyone). In addition to this the course is laid out in a very clear and aesthetically pleasing way, and is available to go back and view lessons for many years after finishing the course. Pretty good value if you ask me!
It is clear that both Hazel and Angus are very passionate about the topics discussed and alps highly knowledgeable! They do a good job of catering to those who want to know the scientific research behind the principles they talk about without making too heavy for those who are less interested in this.
I would definitely recommend this course for anyone looking to improve their mental game; in climbing or even in life!

One of the best investment you can do for your climbing (and life)
I have taken the Performance Hacks course and would happily recommend Strong Mind. The chapters are very well presented, organised, clear and concise whilst being comprehensive. I really appreciated the videos and the text complements, as well as the guided meditations and practice sheets you can review on your phone whilst at the crag.
The team and the community are very supportive and responsive and taking the course felt like an investment in a content and framework you can continuously refer back to even after you're 'done' rather than a one-off magic protocol.
My climbing experience has been positively changed, not only in terms of increased performance but also in terms of enjoyment and personal growth, which also radiates in life. Keep up the good work Strong Mind team!

One of the sparks for my personal growth
One of the sparks, which ignited my personal growth was the Performance Hacks course. I would like to emphasize that this personal growth does not only refer to my climbing, but to my whole life. The insights I was allowed to learn help me a lot for staying positive in all aspects of my life.
One of my personal key insights for climbing (as well as my whole life) is that goals don't satisfy. Instead does being on the path offer growth and satisfaction. My hunting for ticking routes or reaching climbing grades is softened and sometimes even totally gone, which allows me to enjoy climbing even more and gives me a feeling of lasting satisfaction.

Best thing I've ever done for my climbing
Taking the performance hacks course is probably the best thing I have ever done for my climbing. The coaches were incredibly supportive and working through the course has helped me to really understand my mindset on a much deeper level. Everything is explained in such a clear, engaging way it's impossible not to be amazed at the amount and depth of knowledge you gain from each video. My approach to climbing has changed drastically in such a positive way since finishing the course, and I generally feel much more self aware and confident not just in climbing but in the rest of my life as well. There really aren't enough words to describe how grateful I am to the whole Strong Mind Team for putting this all together.

Through the coaching with Hazel and…
Through the coaching with Hazel and Strong Mind I’ve not only become a better but - maybe even more important - a happier climber. The course and coaching helped me to recalibrate and understand my motivations in climbing and deal with fear of failure a lot better. I’ve become a much less frustrated climber and person in general.
I’d recommend it to anyone deeply interested in improving their climbing experience and quality of life on and off the rocks. Maybe the most beautiful takeaway I got from the course is that the things learned feel equally applicable to other life areas. I love how climbing becomes a real-life teacher if you delve into the psychological side of it.
Excellent week of Clinics!
Hazel and Angus visited our climbing gyms in NYC at the start of December. They hosted 6 clinics in all, 3 for staff, 3 for members. Mostly tailored around Fear of Falling. After each one of the clinics I was told by the attendees just how effective the class felt. The staff attendees walked away with valuable material for their personal climbing journey and an effective lens to view their classes through to increase the comfort and safety in classes they teach. Members who had taken similar clinics with other companies found the performance psychology lens Strong Mind uses gave them more leverage and more awareness building tools as they pursue future climbing goals.

Hazel & Angus were incredible! The session was broken down simply - with us participating and evaluating our relationship to our fears, in various ways. Then applying it practically with great feedback. Any time I lead, I practice the falls and it has seriously improved my confidence and recognizing where i'm at in terms of level of fear. I’ve taken their performance hacks course, strong mind course and 1-1 coaching with Hazel and plan to sign up for their fear of falling course soon.
