Like most people, ordered some merch, hoping to gift it. Complete ignore from support for a month, no idea if I will ever recieve the item. Avoid at all costs.

It’s a scam! Don’t use them. Not sure how they get away with it but they do! Can I get money back from my Bank?

I have never wished I'd checked reviews of a seller before purchase more in my life. Looks like the majority of people who handed over their hard earned money to buy Christmas presents from UM this year are just SOL. I ordered two items on Dec 3, both in stock, and they have not yet turned up at their destination. Reading these reviews I have doubts that they will. I checked the tracking on my order today only to find out there is "no tracking number available". Even though I ordered nearly three weeks ago. I've contacted customer service but from what I've read it's unlikely I'll get any assistance, much less a refund. Now my parents have no gifts as I can't afford to get them anything now. I'll have to get them a joint giftcard or something in the new year I guess. Depressing. I'll be taking it up with whomever it needs taking up with.

Ordered on 14th November. Had an email weeks later saying that what I ordered would be released 8th December. Still no update, customer service don't respond. Can't afford to get my partner anything else for Christmas so he's not getting anything. Absolute joke.

Like many people Orders placed, money taken, nothing despatched. Totally ignoring emails to customer services Universal Records HQ are no help and just said they are an on-line company.
Avoid unless you want to want to lose money.

I ordered 2 items from the Sam Fender store. It was the Joker Hoodie and Tote Bag. The "release date" for them was the 8th December and I ordered them on the 6th. According to their policy, pre-ordered items are to be dispatched the day of release.

I am still waiting as of the 19th December 2023. The order is "Confirmed" and has been since the date of purchase. This item is a Christmas present and I now am unable to provide it to the intended recipient for Christmas. I am appalled by this service.

Don't bother contacting their support team, they do not respond. I have been contacting them and hearing nothing back. Pathetic.

EDIT: After my review was published and I had contacted the Universal Record Label it got sent out and I received it today (20/12/23). If it was that easy, why wasn’t this done straight away?

Terrible Customer Service, ordered wrong size T-shirt by accident. Have sent a ridiculous amount of emails to customer service with zero response

Ordered Taylor Swift merch and it’s not arrived even though it’s past the delivery days (20 days which is excessive in itself). Customer service is rubbish. Will be making a claim on my credit card for a refund. What a con.

Don't use them!! Only received 1 of the 2 items ordered and paid for and that after a loooong wait. No response from customer service about the rest of my order or how to get money back. Complete scam. Updating my December 19th review to report that I did finally get a refund for the item not received. Still would definitely NOT recommend, though.

Absolutely the same experience as all the other reviews. Order confirmed, money taken in October, release date given as Dec 1st and dispatch promised within 24hrs of that date. Customer service sends a standard automated response that gives no information whatsoever and actually implies you should not send multiple queries. Item simply does not arrive.
Concerned this company is fraudulent.

Ordered Billie Eillish special edition vinyl in July. Numerous emails and absolutely zero satisfaction. A complete con and needs relevant bodies to investigate. Artists need to know their fans are being ripped off here.

Ordered a bag and necklace that were in stock back in October, still not arrived. Ordered same items with next day delivery to hopefully get here before Xmas, still not dispatched...

No response from Customer Services, never known such a big company be so useless.

Still waiting for Billie Eilish vinyl & merch that was ordered & paid for in August. Customer Service is useless, nothing more than an automated email or a request to check if I still need help with something. This has been ongoing for months. Not sure why it's so difficult for someone to check my order & provide an update. It's supposed to be a Christmas present for my daughter - she's going to be very disappointed .

Why can’t universal music get its s*** together. I too order merchandise from them and apart from an auto response saying that they aim to respond within five days to my query I’ve heard nothing. P***poor customer service and not even an email to say there have been delays. This is a Christmas present and now it’s too late for a guaranteed Xmas delivery. I made a preorder on the 18th November and the release date was the 30th November. I have emailed communications at umusic. com today to see if I get a response from them. I hope this review is useful

I ordered on October 2nd and my order still has not arrived (it's now 17 December). The website states 3-5 day delivery times in the UK.

The customer support is awful and nobody can tell me when the item will arrive. When I do manage to get an email reply, they simply say they are waiting foe a shipment of this item. The item is also still for sale on their website, so they are still taking people's money for an item which will apparently never arrive.

Pre-Ordered Taylor Swift T Shirt in October, where it stated the release date of 24th November and dispatch within 24hrs of the release date.
14th December...no T Shirt...emailed customer service, no response, contacted through their 'chat' button...just a bot but left a message...no response.
Ended up disputing the payment through the bank, low and behold, next day I get an email asking if i still have an issue with the order???? err...yes...have you delivered it???
Responded, eventually stating that there is a delay and they dont know when they will have stock. Asked for a refund which is yet to arrive...hopefully the bank will resolve it for me.
They are basically selling stock that they dont have and have and making promises of delivery they cant keep. I'm not sure if anyone ever actually receives the goods in the end or if they are relying on people forgetting they ever ordered something.

Maybe I need to start my Christmas shopping earlier next year, 3 months for delivery is clearly unreasonable :0)

Ordered a IDLES t-shirt almost 4 weeks ago. Money taken, now it even shows delivered but that’s not true. Customer service ghosted me. Utterly unprofessional and appealing, a scam.

Placed order on 27th october, have not received item or even had dispatch email. Have had no communications about the order which was £130. Appalling customer service. Have sent several emails and only had one response se which I felt was a delaying technique asking for my email address, which was obviously on the email, a d the issue with the order which I had ready outlined in the email. My daughter will be so disappointed ot to receive this doe Christmas. Huge disappointment, expected better from official merchandise store. Do not buy from them.

ordered on 12th November a Taylor Swift Hoodie, it didn't state out of stock and i received an order confirmation and, the money was swiftly taken.
its now 13th December, no item, no response to 3 emails so time to charge back but, it will mean we are missing one of our daughters key presents.
The website now states items ordered may not arrive before Christmas (it didn't when i ordered) but, reading all of these reviews i doubt it will ever arrive.
Scam scam scam! will be contacting trading standards also.

I ordered a Beatles T-shirt in blue and a white one came. I have been emailing since 27th of November regarding this and just getting automated emails. This is so frustrating I would not touch this company again and as of today, I still haven’t heard anything. This is disgraceful.
