Five stars! Andy the driver was incredibly helpful & didn't just drop the wheelchair at our door. He took the time to ensure the wheelchair Jazzy Ultralite was shown to our daughter and she understood the basics to get her started. Andy was professional, punctual, and very kind.

I spoke to Alice from the customer care team today. She was excellent and answered all of my questions fully. Even the ones that sounded daft.
This was the first time I have purchased a wheelchair for my wife but Alice guided me through the process and she helped me immensely in finding the right product. Excellent all round.

Battery issue fixed
I bought an IAM4 Electric Wheelchair from Easy Living Mobility. It was delivered and we were shown how it folded. How to turn it on and off and where the charging port was located.
I only used the wheelchair around 8 to 9 times and charged it everyone before using it. I had no trouble at all until i tried to charge it today when it wouldn't charge at all. I got my son to check that i was not doing anything wrong and that there weren't any loose wires and everything was okay.
I got straight onto the aftersales for the shop and was told that because of the type of battery it had to be charged several times a week not just every now and then, and that the battery was now useless, and that it was my fault. We were not told that we had to charge the battery several time a week or it would have got charged several times a week. The afyersales lady said that my only option was to buy another battery which was going to cost over £300. I cannot afford this as i am still paying for the wheelchair, and therefore now can't use it! Aftersales said that we would have been told how to deal with the battery and would have been given a care leaflet, neither of which happened.
AVOID THIS COMPANY - THEY SHOW NO SYMPATHY/ UNDERSTANDING ANDTRY TO GET EVERY LAST PENNY YOU HAVE
UPDATE - The problem has now been fixed. Alice from Easyliviving Mobility has been great. She arranged for the battery to be collected and then tested. The fixed battery was then sent back to us and Alice guided us through fixing it back on the chair. My electric wheelchair works again! THANKYOU ALICE

****EDIT/UPDATE***
This has now been dealt with to our satisfaction by with Emily - had our complaint been dealt with by Emily rather than the "area manager" then I doubt we would have had to go this far. Thank you Emily. I have updated the stars accordingly from 1 star to 3 as the product was still faulty - 3 times,
Bought 2 riser chairs and matching 2 seater sofa in January 2025 at £5,400. Gave Ross at the Telford branch a 5 star review for the service and delivery. Fast forward less than 12 months and looking under the chair for something I noticed a 3" x 3" hole at one side of the leg cushion that rises and almost the same at the other side, second chair was the same. Rang the branch and they said an engineer would come in a few wks. Engineer came, took photos and said the manufacturer would come out. Few weeks later mftr came and said it was a known issue and he had reported it many times. They replaced the whole riser leg cushion on my chair but had brought the wrong colour for the other chair. We was told they would bring the correct colour in about 2 weeks. After over 4 weeks with no communication, I chased it up and they hadnt even started to make it as we had slipped through the net. I looked under my chair at the replacement leg riser cushion and it was already wearing through after just 32 days! Store manager was very apologetic but I said I didnt want the other chair part, I would like my money back. The area manager rang me a few days later and said we hadnt given them a chance to repair, no one had said it was a known issue (they did) there wasnt a known issue and this had never happened before - I said again they had already replaced the cushion and that had failed, so I wanted my money back. Backwards and forwards with the area manager, who hadnt even looked at the photos I sent, kept saying they had only frayed, kept talking over me and was generally talking to me like I was an idiot. As well as explaining he was so busy that it had taken him until 4:50pm to ring me on a Friday. I advised him to speak to Trading standards so he was clear on the law. Said he would ring me back Monday after doing that. Monday came, no phone call. I rang and left a message at 4:50pm. He called today at 2pm, again apologising because he was busy covering a store. Going back and forth saying we had to give them a chance to repair blah blah and the manufacturer (Sitting Pretty) are already manufacturing 2 brand new chairs for me, like for like and they would be ready next week. I refused - why would I want the same thing again that was faulty, I quoted Trading Standards "one shot" repair rule - and I wanted my money back. He said we hadnt given him a chance to repair the second chair and if they gave me my money back for my chair, they didnt have to for the other chair and the sofa (as there was nothing wrong with the sofa). There is one contract - with Easy Living Mobility Telford - we didnt buy each item separately, they were bought as a matching set and as such the "set" was no longer functional and I wanted my money back. Round and round we went, despite me telling him I had stayed in and waited for his phone call yesterday, but had to leave at 2:30 today for an appointment and I needed to get ready - he still kept talking over me and by this point it was 2:20pm. I told him I wanted my money back and I didnt want to speak to him again, I wanted to speak to his superior next time and I ended the call. We are now in April since my call in early January and its still not resolved. Now its not just about the faulty chairs, its about the service and particularly the attitude of the area manager.

Fantastic company with amazing staff. This was the time we have spoken to anyone about my husband’s mobility needs,From first time we walked in to the Newcastle Under Lyme store we felt at ease and not pressured at all. We picked a fold up scooter with the help of Gina. She was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. She was very knowledgeable and assisted us with our purchase.
The following day we had a call from Gina saying we could have our scooter delivered in half an hour. The delivery driver was called Laurence and he was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly and helpful, he explained everything we needed to know in great detail. Nothing was too much trouble and answered all our questions with an enthusiastic and endearing manner. Both Laurence and Gina are great assets to the Easy Living Mobility Company.
Lastly if the CEO or Managing Director of this excellent company, happens to read my review, Your staff are incredible, and you’re lucky to have them, they deserve a pay rise and I’d recommend them to anyone.
