This Steambox is literally hot! Great to use when travelling and also just at the office. Would definitely recommend it if you want some hot meals on the go.

I feel like the box is too heavy for…
I feel like the box is too heavy for starters. 2nd, I don't like the metal container. When I bring my lunch, sometimes I am not sure if a microwave will be available. If there is, I can't just put the metal container in it. In one case, the battery was not charged enough to do even 5mins of heating. I was stuck looking for some kind of plate to transfer over my food to, so I could use a microwave. It would of been nice to have a silverware storage.

Hi there! Thanks a lot for this great feedback, this really helps us to improve our product. As per your remarks:
1. If you mostly use Steambox at the same place (like an office), we'd recommend to leave Steambox at that place and just travel with the food containers. It could make the commute a little easier for you. We're also working on some projects to improve portability and weight challenges!
2. The food container are made from (food grade) stainless steel for various (beneficial) reasons. We still fully get your point, we're currently solving the puzzle of charging and discharging at the same time. Meaning that you could charge and steam at the same time. We hope to do an update later this year.

Amazing self heating lunchnox
Bought this for my man. He works in construction and never uses microwave to heat up the food. So steambox was an amazing solution to his needs. I am extremely happy that I found this product for him. Will highly recommend this.

Hebbe ding, maar nooit meer.
1. Op een lading kan je maar 1 keer opwarmen.
2. het is heel groot en heel zwaar, dus dagelijks meedragen zal niet lukken.
3. na opwaremen krijg je geen melding dus je moet zelf opletten of die klaar is met opwarm programma.
4. water nodig om op te warmen.
5. kan niet opwarmen terwijl die aan adapter zit op te laden.
6. de adapter is ook heel groot.
7. moest 6 maanden wachten tot het werd geleverd.
Belangrijkste : meerdere reviews op google geplaatst, ze zijn allemaal verwijderd, met andere woorden vanaf begin al heel erg oneerlijk, heel erg verkeerde manier van aanpak. Respectloos behandelen van je eerste klanten? dat vind ik dus niet kunnen.
voor kwart van t bedrag koop je een mini inductie plaat in dezelfde grote en laat je het op werk. Ik moet toch iedere keer opladen, en omdat de steambox te groot en te zwaar is, draag ik m niet mee, ik laat hem op werk, draag alleen de inleg bakjes mee.
al en al, zeker een hebbe ding, maar niet meer dan dat.
app kan beter, batterij kan beter, gedrag jegens klanten kan zeker beter.

Beste Toto,
Dank voor je bericht en oprechte feedback! Hoewel we het jammer vinden dat je best teleurgesteld bent, waarderen we de feedback wel (dit hebben wij nodig om beter te doen). Onderstaand vind je wat reacties op je feedback, wellicht heb je hier iets nog aan:
1. Een (volle) lading staat gelijk aan 40-45 minuten stomen. Afhankelijk van je maaltijd porties, zijn die 2-3 maaltijden (2 middel-groot of 3 kleine). Als je dit niet haalt met je product, neem dan contact op met ons (misschien is er iets niet goed of mis je een stap).
2. Steambox is ons eerste product, de afmeting en het gewicht zijn het resultaat van een aantal features van het apparaat. Hier zijn we mee bezig.
3. Je hebt de mogelijkheid om Steambox met je telefoon te verbinden, hier kan je er voor kiezen om wel een melding te ontvangen zodra eten klaar is.
4. Het water is vrij makkelijk mee te nemen in onze water container. Het voordeel is sneller verwarmen en lekkerder eten (gestoomd).
5. Dat klopt helemaal, deze feature hebben wij er i.v.m. veiligheid uit gelaten (wordt ook aan gewerkt).
6. Dat horen wij niet vaak, dank voor deze feedback!
7. We waren eerst in de pre-order fase, dat is nu voorbij (binnen 1-2 dagen gratis verzonden in NL, EU en VS).
We konden geen eerder contact vinden met je in onze customer support. Als wij wel iets hebben gemist, dan willen wij onze oprechte excuses aanbieden (mail ons dan graag naar info@steam-box.com als je daar nog behoefte aan hebt. We helpen je graag en zijn bereid al je vragen en / of twijfels toe te lichten. Wij willen namelijk niets lievers dan dat jij een warme maaltijd kan eten zonder afhankelijkheden. 😃

Beautiful design, works great. Taste of the food is good, not dried out like in a microwave. Only used it at work so far which caused a lot of jealous looks.
