Emergency closure and no cancellation or refund
Booked a van to move house on 22nd Jan, paid in full. Arrived to collect on 31st Jan, as per booking to find a hand written sign on door saying closed for family emergency since 26th Jan. There was no emergency contact number, no pre-warning, no post on your social media, nothing. They didn't cancel our booking, no answer on the lines that day and the phone line has now been contantly busy since Monday whilst they remain closed. No refund for the unfulfilled booking, having to claim indemnity through the bank. Living in a rural County, they left us high and dry on a weekend planned to move 2 x families, with little other options. I won't be using again and would recommend the same to anyone needing a reliable service for a move or journey. 8 days since the sign went up and no contact. I understand family emergencies happen but cancel the bookings next time so customers get advance notice and their money back, to avoid creating emergencies for your customers. We would love our money back...
