Swindon Barnfield -slow slow sow
Swindon Barnfield. Surely the whole point of ordering via the mobile app is so you can speed things up? 16 mins from ordering to receiving (10 mins waiting in store). Tepid lattes by then as they had been made but the toastie forgotten about. No apparent ownership of each order. No apologies.
1st and last visit ever
£6.20 for a large coffee which actually fits in a £5.10 small cup
Coffee Luke warm
Can't pay cash only take card payment
Staff smoking I front of building
Expensive coffee served in a paper cup
Understand now why every time I see a Starbucks it's empty!
Was staying in the hotel opposite should have been a daily visitor for the week but got a better experience with a different company down the road at a cheaper cup
Starbucks - Northwich - Don't bother
Starbucks - Northwich. First of all, small cappucino and hot chocolate over 4 pounds each. Really? Secondly, drinks took 15 minutes and were just left to languish on the counter in takeaway cups, no calling of a name (no name even taken) or explanation that they had run out of small cups. For that price and drinking in, I want crockery. Why not put small drinks in large cups. Its not rocket science. Sullen frosty service. Never again.
BE CAREFUL at Stockport Portwood court
BE CAREFUL at Stockport Portwood court, Euro car parks have taken over the parking, over 2 hours and you get a £100 fine, And yes All 3 of us were in Starbucks for 2 hour and 26 minutes.
Obviously its new and we didn't realise you had to pay after a certain time.
Buckshaw matrix Starbucks
Buckshaw matrix Starbucks - consistently slow if you order inside - all the drive through take priority wait to make order even though only person waiting, wait an age for your drink only to be given a Frappuccino rather than a macchiato and then wait again ! Always the same 😩

Hot cheese balls
Starbucks Nottingham (A52), try one of their delicious five-cheesy hot, hot, hot melted toasties.... mmmmm, sounds delish! I'll just pop into the drive thru. Excuse me, could you just cut it in half for me...
No, it's against our Starbucks policy... here's your sandwich in a bag it's greasing through, a balsa-wood knife, your lap will suffice as a table.
I should have stopped going when they asked at Newark for customer feedback. Having an honest moment, I said the staff were slow and lumpy (in movement), and too busy chatting for a rapid service. They barred me in Newark.
May the scars on my groin remind me to drive-past, not -thru.
If I could give 0 stars I would - Horrible Experience
If I could give 0 stars, I would, as it is very disappointing how Starbucks operates at least here in the UK.
I tried to contact the company via social media and messages for over a month and received no response. I believe that the Director of Customer Service for the Bedfordshire area should be aware of this situation as it can help customers to avoid the hassle and financial burden when they visit the St John's Retail park store located in Bedford.
Below are the details of what occurred:
On Saturday 28 June, we visited Starbucks as part of our usual weekend routine. After placing our order, we informed a member of your team (Needine) that we intended to stay for more than 2.5 hours. She provided us with a tablet, on which we entered our vehicle details. However, I noticed that the image of our car did not appear on the screen, which I found peculiar. Your staff member assured us that she had seen it herself and said there was nothing to worry about. When I asked whether we could receive a ticket or confirmation to verify this, she explained that nothing could be provided. I trusted her word.
When we received the penalty, we returned to the store, we spoke to Alex and handed him the first letter. He mentioned that he would contact the parking company, noting that such issues do occur but are resolved. He also advised us to return to the store should we receive further communication about the penalty.
On 2 August, upon receiving the second letter (dated 30 July), Alex took a photograph of it and said he would get in touch with the parking company again. On this occasion, I asked if he could kindly copy us into the email and provided our contact details. He said he would send the email by the end of the day.
On Sunday 3 August, we returned to the store as we hadn’t received Alex’s email. We were able to speak to Elio, who was very kind and understanding regarding our situation. He photographed the second letter and phoned Alex. He also noted that it is ultimately up to the parking company to decide whether to waive the penalty.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to call the store on 4 August to speak to Rianna—who is the new store manager—as we were attending medical appointments for most of the day.
We ended up paying £101.50 to Nexus Group - the parking company (as we do not wish to escalate the matter to court). It is unfair for us to bear the cost, given the circumstances outlined above. We believe that the very least Starbucks could do is to issue the amount paid in store credit to offset the penalty fee. We understand that Starbucks does not have control over the parking company’s decisions; however, not taking any responsibility for the wrong information provided by two of your staff members is unacceptable, as I incurred a financial burden.
I even proposed to the store manager to issue the amount paid in store credit to offset the penalty fee. She indicated that she cannot authorise this, and she has to escalate it (no timeline given).
Disappointing to say the least, unnecessary stress and a financial burden thanks to the wrong information given by two staff members.... Still waiting to hear from the Director of Customer Service....
Avoid Starbucks Caerphilly if you are a carer
The Caerphilly coffee shop on Pontygwindy Road has staff that do not appear to care when dealing with us today. Their latest policy is for coffee to be placed in cardboard cups if sitting outside as some people have left the proper cups outside on the sitting benches. Rather than staff checking regularly outside to bring empties in, yet can gossip amongst each other in groups behind the counter, the rest of us decent customers have to suffer. But today when wearing an Alzheimer's lanyard and despite stating the coffee was for a service user, there was no compassion given. The person in question cannot handle the noise level inside the premises mainly due to the very loud banging noise from the person making the coffees who bangs out the old grain on the counter. But not at any time was compassion shown and allowed this time to take the cups outside, despite the offer of bringing them back in. It appears that staff do not recognize a carer and made no effort to accommodate us. very poor customer service, we won't be returning.
Starbucks. Being ignored not served.
On visiting a new Starbucks establishment at Clatterbridge on the Wirral I have decided ill give Starbucks a miss from now on. However the experience I had at the Clatterbridge Starbucks was enough for me. Entered the establishment walked to the counter with two people behind the counter and only me standing in front of the counter. Clearly one with headphones was dealing with the drive through. However no one was using the drive through and she wasn’t taking orders. Meanwhile I’m standing still waiting. Other person behind the counter was pottering around occasionally talking to lady with headphones. The wait was becoming uncomfortable to the point I began looking around . Whats going on I was thinking. I went outside and came back in again to stand at the counter again to be completely ignored again. We’re talking a while still no other customers waiting just me the invisible man . At this point I could have asked excuse me but I probably would have shouted it out. So I have decided never to visit a Starbucks establishment again.
Manners mean so much
Do Starbucks not insist on their employees being polite & mannered? My husband & I prefer Starbucks coffee to all other brands but sometimes the staff in the outlets are very offputting. This morning we were in Starbucks in the Boucher Road Retail Park Belfast & Robert couldn't smile or say please or thank you.
Whole experience was dismal
Whole experience was dismal. Paper cups or buy your own re-usable plastic ones. Why can't we have proper cups and reduce waste? Smallest size coffee available was "regular" which was equivalent to about 2 or 3 ordinary cups and far more than one person really wants, especially on a motorway. Coffee was scalding hot - too hot to taste properly and took ages to drink. £4.50 for a hot drink is very expensive in my view, especially for self-service in a paper cup. Starbucks must be one of the least customer focused and least environmentally friendly organisations on the planet. Will not be returning.
We visited the Starbucks in Thirsk…
We visited the Starbucks in Thirsk Northbound A168. The girls you've got working there are superstars. Great customer service, very lovely girls that went above and beyond for there customers.
I asked for there names as I've never felt so welcomed and great care before visiting any Starbucks.

They deserve a employee treat
Kelly of Starbucks Monks Cross York
Starbucks Monks Cross , York. Worst barista I have ever encountered. Her name is Kelly, a middle aged woman with an eternally annoyed face. The place was almost empty and she seemed to be so annoyed at customers making the customers feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. Not surprised people are not coming in to this Starbucks. She would not even accommodate requests for some modifications on the drinks. First time I ever experienced this kind of treatment from Starbucks. Please fire this woman. She is not doing Starbucks a favour.
Hot outside but cool inside.
With the heatwaves, the Starbucks' shops have a wonderfully cool 😎 air conditioning system in each one, always sit comfortably, no matter how hot or cold outside.
Poor service
Went to Starbucks Plymouth on Mutley Plain to have a coffee. To my surprise, there were sone chairs blocking the acces to the toilets. When I asked what what time they closed, I was told they close at 20.00. It was 18.00 when I order my coffee and, again to my surprise I was given takeaway coffee. I told the girl that I want a stay in coffee. The was visibly annoyed that I dared to asked my coffee to be served in the espresso cup and not takeaway.
She changed the takeaway cup with espresso cup at my request. She then continued her talk with her colleague.
Very poor service. Perhaps they need to be trained in customers service skills, as is so obvious they are lacking in the skills.
Cashless despite saying they aren’t
Despite all the articles online and them saying they aren’t cashless, once you go to a Starbucks and order in the drive through and you go to pay with cash, that is when you find out they have gone cashless.
Strarbucks Drive-Thru Braconsfield Welcomebreak
Drive-Thru Braconsfield Welcomebreak
Food/drinks menu after the order intercom so u can’t see what you want to order when you pull up!
Ordered 2 large ‘tasteless/flavourless’ Frappuccinos - 0 cookies & cream taste and 0 Tiramisu taste. Total waste of money - £12.65 for icy/milky water nothing else. Poor.
Service was good though just need to make drinks properly.
Terrible Customer Service
STARBUCKS, ALNWICK, NORTHUMBERLAND.
Served by a very unpleasant young woman, should definitely not be working in customer service! Barely made eye contact with me, drinks shoved infront of me without any pleasantries/interaction. Also, as we were sitting outside I asked for a takeaway cup but she made it in a ceramic mug, eventhough the sticker said 'coffee to go!' She should be lucky to have a job. Such a misery!
Got a coffee before boarding my train…
Got a coffee before boarding my train at the Starbucks outlet in Basingstoke onplatform2/3. 26.5.25 @13:15p.m Oh my goodness never again. Lady serving was on her phone, she then the clicked her fingers to signal me to the counter! (dumbfounded) and continued talking on her phone for another 3 min loudly clearly non work related and oblivious to customers waiting. Utterly rude.
I mean Starbucks this is unacceptable, where is the basic customer service?? . No apologies to customer. This is the worst I've ever seen and a reason to add Starbucks to the no go coffee shop. Really disappointing.
