Been a costumer for years and it's was always a cost thing for me with out insurance, so I went back to get some new lenses, frames where still good thinking it would be a little cheaper for me but I was wrong. For the same price as two pairs of glass it cost me for just one set of new lenses. Very disappointed thinking it's price gouging because they can right now. Service was better before too....

From the time I went into my exam to the time I picked up my glasses, everyone and everything was efficient and well organized.
Got my prescription wrong, so having to take another, but no charge. That was good.

Helpful people.The computer part was not good.But it worked out
After the end of my eye exam I was told the same day service was not available because their machine was down.
I waited a week and a half, and received a text stating my order was ready. I drove the 35 miles to pick it up only to be told only 1 pair had one in and the other pair would be here the next day.
So 70 miles layer I am back at the store again. This time the glasses they had made were incorrect and would have to be remade. It's been a month and they haven't called or text.
I called them only to be td they were mounting the lenses but don't know when they will get them.
I love giw a same day service turned into 5 weeks. Not happy...

The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. However we waited over 45 minutes for a scheduled appointment and they were seeing walkin ins before us. The tech ( long dark hair, glasses, and on the shorter side) that was calling people back was incredibly rude. When I asked how long it would be she refused to even estimate a time and said “calm down there is only two people in front of you”. I didn’t need to calm down it was a simple question asked that she refused to answer. She then proceeded to call 5 more people in front of us. Overall it was an awful experience and the only reason for two stars is the person at the front desk. They were great! But spending 2 and 1/2 hours for an appointment is unacceptable especially when most of it was spent sitting in chairs waiting being skipped over cause of a grumpy tech.

I’ve had no issues with my bifocal, prescription, Transition glasses. They are the better than my last two pairs that came from LensCrafters. Stanton Optical nailed all aspects of my requirements for both pair. I will come back for future optical needs.
No explanation of results, no help adjusting glasses just “here” I’ve worn glasses over 60 years from different places always had them adjusted to be certain I was comfortable with them

While the staff was friendly, the service was horrible. Arrived early for appointment, was seen over 2 hours after my scheduled appt. The gentleman at the front desk was overwhelmed, with no help to assist. A line formed, people were getting angry and no one stepped in to help him. This will be the last time my family or I will use Stanton Optical. Will also let my colleagues and friends know the experience I had.

Honestly the whole experience just wasn’t good, the associates were good. it just didn’t feel welcoming, I probably won’t go back to Stanton for any reason. Not an eye exam, definitely not for glasses. It’s been almost 2 weeks and my 2nd pair still hasn’t come in. I can go down the road and pick glasses I like and get them the same day. So goodbye to Stanton they need to rethink the Customer Experience in their stores.

I got my eye exam and glasses at Stanton Optical and it was a huge mistake. The eye exam was a "hybrid" with the optometrist on a TV screen (Zoom?) instead of in person. It was rushed and I felt like I was just a number to them. After the eye exam, I wandered around looking for frames. After a few minutes, an associate came over to help. I told her I was getting Progressive lenses and if there was a particular frame shape or size that I should be looking for to accommodate that particular prescription. She said, "not really." I told her I was getting the special of two frames and progressive lenses and she said "You need to look on this section with the blue tag on them." Even though there were several pairs of frames on that wall, the selection was extremely limited as I immediately noticed that several frames were exactly the same. One pair was ready after a week but I'm not sure about them. I'm not seeing very clearly with the new glasses at all. I'll stick to buying my glasses from Zenni from now on.

I would not recommend going here:
1. You never actually see an eye doctor. It was unsettling that I couldn’t ask any questions from an optometrist.
2. The girl couldn’t find a trial pair of contacts, until I asked for my prescription to go someplace else.
3. Trial contacts were labeled incorrectly (right eye was labeled left and left eye was labeled right).
4. Was not allowed to put in trial contacts in store. Was given the trial contacts and a plastic contact case that had contact solution poured in them but not even a bag to carry them or secure them.
5. When ordering contacts I asked several times if they could be shipped to me and was assured they would be shipped to my house. Got a text saying they were ready to be picked up 3 days later but I had to go out of town. I assumed that they would still be shipped to my house. I called a week later since I still hadn’t received them and the contacts were still at the store. They again assured me they would be shipped to my house. After another week, still no contacts. I had to drive 45 minutes to the store where my contacts were still sitting.
