Gave a very impressive valuation for my iPhone 8 and reduced it by 40% when seen. There were 2 scratches on the screen but all else was like new as protected by a case. I accepted rather than go through the whole process again. Felt cheated.

Quick & easy process! Would 100% use again. Spring sent out a posting packet within 1-2 days of filling in the online form. Instructions were easy to follow. Posted my phone on a Monday & Spring received it and deposited the money the next day. They also honoured the quote they’d given

Very happy with the Spring process. My package was delivered in super fast time and the funds were in my bank within 1 hour of Spring recieving my tech. Amazing!

Ridiculous really. iPhone 11 is in good condition. They want to offer 26% less than the value quoted. They claimed more wear and tear than expected on the sides, back and front. the phone is in really good condition. Their analysis is subjective. So this is just a ploy to try to get at a cheaper price. Unethical in my view. Would stay away.

I have sold a number of items to Spring now, and each time it has been absolutely painless using their pods (of which there are a fair few within a couple of miles of me). I cannot recommend them highly enough. They pay out quickly and they pay a very fair price for tech (usually a fair bit more than the usual suspects, I find). Customer support responds to queries within a couple of minutes and are incredibly polite and helpful.

Spring over inflate their offer to get your business and then make any tiny blemishes or scratches to devices to be the biggest & worst damage in the world. They offered me £391 but due to this astronomical damage (the tiniest of dent and a minuscule scratch on the side) they cut the offer down to £288. That’s £103 less and that’s an absolute joke. I completely appreciate if there is damage knocking the offer down is a given, maybe £20/£30 but £103. No way, I’d rather bin the device than allow you to keep it.

On the plus side they return the device free of charge which is great, (but so they should having changed the offer so dramatically) I just hope it’s cost them a fortune to send & return and they’ve made nothing, so nice one 👍

Oh and before we get any snotty reply’s back from spring, come back with the photos and let’s all see what exactly £103 worth of damage looks like you rob dogs!

I Certainly won’t be recommending this company to anyone and you guessed it, I won’t ever use again good riddance!

Please be careful before using spring. They duped me over other competitors with a higher value of my iPhone and then when I sent my phone over to them in great condition (barely any difference between a new phone and the one I sent back especially as I only had it a few months) they changed their valuation to almost £200 below the original "guaranteed" price. Very deceitful and cunning policy. Gave it one extra star as they do send you a convenient package to send your phone to them in but that was the only positive I can say about this intelligent (basically) scam.

Brilliant service got the estimated value no problem and it was very quick posted phone Saturday and funds in bank on the Monday very happy

Really easy to do and they responded with an offer very quickly and soon as I accepted then money was ready to withdraw into my bank account. Really good service

Very disappointed with Spring. They come across as a very customer friendly, modern company but when it comes to valuing phones their ruthless!

Nearly £100 wiped off the value of my phone because the back of the phone was in a bad condition they stated, something I strongly disagree with.

Very disappointing that they don’t justify their valuations with what on the back causes the price to drop so dramatically.

I suspect they overvalue to get them to the top of the list and then need to claw back their mistakes.

At least they offer free returns!

Ive always looked after my phones well and they clearly have a model where they overpromise and then cut it significantly to rank hign on the aggregator sites then hoping that a decent percentage of customers dont bother getting it returned.

Very poor and unjustified - in my case for a phone a few months old it was £140+ less and ive soid multiple phones and tried most - this was the most blatant ive experienced.

Dont believe any false platitudes typed in response to this as i assure you this is a genuine practice here that glossy marketing and CRM cannot cover if you dig enough.

Very easy to follow process for sending in your old tech. The valuation was a bit less than expected but the reasons for decreased value were fair and everything else was great from start to finish. Will most likely use this company again!
