We’re sorry to hear this experience left you feeling frustrated, Branden. I looked into the situation and can confirm that your order was packed and a tracking number was created before you requested cancellation. The good news is that we were able to intercept it before dispatch. That’s why the tracking didn’t show movement, and why we were able to cancel and refund the order shortly after.

While we understand emotions can run high when things don’t go to plan, we take allegations like hacking and message interference extremely seriously. These claims are not supported by any logical evidence and do not reflect how we operate.

We’ve resolved your order with a full refund, and there’s nothing further outstanding on our end. If you believe something remains unresolved, please reach out to our support team directly and we’ll be happy to clarify.

After reviewing your case, it's clear you reached out promptly to correct the shipping address. Unfortunately, by the time our customer service reached your message the next business day, the parcel had already been collected by the courier and the redirection request was unsuccessful. We understand how disappointing this must have been, especially given your efforts to rectify the issue quickly.

While our standard process is to dispatch to the address entered at checkout, in this instance, we recognise the very quick dispatch and the delay in response meant we weren’t able to assist in time. That’s not the outcome we want for any of our customers.

We’ve reached out to you directly to offer a full refund or replacement, whichever works best for you. We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to make this right.

The product you ordered is a special order part, which means we bring it in from our supplier specifically for your order. That’s why it’s marked as a special order on the product page, why the checkout cart advises it is ordered in from our supplier for you, and why we advise a delivery timeframe of up to 10 business days.

In your case, the item was delivered within 7 business days which is faster than the original estimate. While we’re glad it arrived ahead of schedule, we understand how important clear timeframes are, and we’ll keep working to make them as visible and easy to understand as possible.

Thanks for your review, and we're really sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We’ve seen a sharp increase in customers reaching out about delayed parcels, particularly over the end of last week and the weekend, following courier impacts in QLD caused by Cyclone Alfred and the resulting flooding. It’s taken us longer than we would’ve liked to respond, and we’re sorry we didn’t get back to you on Friday.

Looking into your order, it was dispatched on the 3rd of March and received a scan on the 6th, but unfortunately didn’t receive any further tracking updates. Our team followed up with Couriers Please today and were advised that the parcel was damaged in transit. It wasn’t scanned as damaged at the time, which is normally what triggers a notification to us so we can reach out proactively, so we completely understand how disappointing this has been. We’ve passed this feedback on to the courier to help prevent situations like this in the future.

This isn’t the experience we want for our customers, and we’re genuinely sorry it’s played out this way. I will be in touch shortly with a voucher for a future purchase as we’d truly appreciate the opportunity to rebuild your trust in Sparesbox.
