Far too dear...go to Lidl for cheaper,better quality items

The SPAR store in Ludlow, Shropshire is consistently bad at getting the correct price / offer price on items on the Epos system, and often you can find you are being charged more than advertised at the till. This is made more of an issue as no receipts are automatically given. As a result, unless you have chance / time to check at the point of payment, you can get caught and be overpaying for items. Despite raising the issue in store, little or no effort seems to have been made to resolve this long ongoing issue.

Not the first time I've arrived at Spar Cinnamon Hill pr5 and findi it shut despite being advertised online as open. Post office official website, spar website both suggest the post office is open till 5pm, yet they decide to shut it at 2pm. Sometimes they don't open it at all!

Went into Spar Cambridge Rd Southport on Christmas Day, a girl with long blonde hair was rude to me and to a couple also, I had lost my phone and asked if it had been jaded in, NO she said, I asked if she could ring it for me to see if it had fallen in my car, she didn’t even listen to what I said, she just shouted ITS NOT HERE. I understand she and the other (nice) had lady customers, I’m not a youngster and don’t expect to be spoken to in such a rude manner. A girl in the queue over heard and offered to ring it for me, I then located it.
I have helped so many people in my life which makes it even more upsetting.
Spar staff are always very helpful but not this person 😢😢

Spar Stenhousemuir. Served by Clair - I said good morning - nothing, I commented on weather - nothing, I said thank you - nothing. Why do people need to be so rude. I was only person in shop so it's not that she was harassed or busy. Other staff in this shop are nice so not sure why this lady was so rude

The Spar I sometimes go to for work is the one at Risley... I have had to visit twice now to ask if they could pull a couple of receipts of the system for the company credit card.

I think the lady who served me both times was called Maddie, there was also a lady called Danielle and I think a gentleman called Andrew.

I just want to say in a world where everyone is quick to complain... I have had the best service.... Kindness and patience when they have been very busy.. It seemed no trouble to take time to help me.

The store itself has a very welcoming vibe to it.

When people are struggling left right and center within the UK you'd think some stores would wouldn't be increasing prices mainly for greed. I went into asda for some Christmas cadburys calendars for the kids which were £1.50 each and I was OK paying that price. Remembered later that day that maybe my nephews would want some aswel. Popped into Spar to grab some on the way home. The same Christmas cadburys calendar was £2.75! In Spar. How can you justify increasing the price that much? Absolutely disgusting!

I go into the spar shop opposite Queen Street station Cardiff every morning on my way to work to get food for my lunch break. There's always plenty of choice and the meal deals are worth the price 👌, the staff are always friendly and always ready to help if needed

so what does it take to get barred out of your local spar??? ill tell you, if you are anything other than str8!!!!!! dont bother going into a spar as they will hurl abuse at you!! if its not the staff then its the customers and the staff dont do F...All about it but laugh!!!! am i NOT human???? is MY money no good?? are your beliefs only in 1 direction to keep the shop as str8 as poss!!

As soon I went to the spare at Manchester centrale a racist security guard looked at me badly.I asked to him if he were ok .And he said he looked where he wants.
I could not even buy the products because they did not want sell it

Car wash at spar in ahoghill has stolen my card details needs shut down or ill get the police to shut it down for good theif

Scam company!
Items are priced cheaper but when you checkout many items come up as more expensive.
Some items are expired and still not removed from the cabinets.
The line at the cashier’s is full.
Most of the items are cheap and low quality.
I wish I could rate it lower than 1 star!

Ridiculously overpriced. Poor quality. Only go if there is no other choice. Feel sorry for people living in communities where this is the only place nearby.

I had to give 1 star but I wish I could give zero stars.

I went in on Saturday night with my little dog under my arm. I was ejected from the store.

I had regularly spent quite a lot in the shop but I will never go back there and I will encourage any other dog owners not to go in.

The vast majority of staff are wonderful and dog friendly but I won't ever go back when the guy who refused me entry works there.

I will also urge everyone I know not to go to the shop.

This is about Spar at Auckley on Ellers Lane. The staff are amazing and the store is so clean. What i like the most is the staff are so helpful and will always pass the time with you. They are happy to help in anyway.

The fact people complain about "Not quality products" is mental, what do you want, if you want quality products go to ******* Waitrose

I complained to the company that the film on two ready meals was difficult to remove and that a bolognese was more like a soup than a sauce. Customer services essentially replied with "thanks for your feedback". They ignored a further email from me.

Very poor.
