AVOID HIM AT ALL COST
I contacted the company in April in order to have the whole house double glazed including front and back (Stable) doors. Lakhvir Singh (Lucky) arrived to give me a pitch and a quote. Compared all the others his price fell within our price range, so invited him back signed a contract and paid the deposit on the 20th of April. The next day, Lucky arrived to measure the windows, so I enquired why he was the person doing the measurement and he said he is certified to do so and since he was in the area he felt it would make it quicker. He confirmed that we would have the installation in 4 weeks' time. On the 14th of May, I contacted Lucky and asked for a confirmed date so that I can be around for the installation but Lucky asked me to wait until the weekend. I later got confirmation that they were going to start installation on the 1st of June and they did. On the installation date, Lucky arrived with the installers and I paid him another 50% of the quote as indicated in our signed contract and he immediately left. I later noticed that the installers were missing a window board on the top floor so I immediately contacted Lucky and the installers promised to bring it the next day. The installers arrived the following day but brought the wrong board, they brought UPVC boards instead of a wooden board, I contacted Lucky and we compromised on UPVC at a reduced cost. Towards the end of the second day, I noticed that I did not have a replaced front and back door, upon enquiry I was informed by the installers that it wasn't ready. I called Lucky who then told me that there was an error and they will return to install the doors. On the 14th of June, after much chasing, Lucky sent me a message that my front and back doors will be ready within 2 to 3 weeks and on the 22nd of June one of the installed windows cracked, so I sent Lucky a picture of the crack, Lucky called me and asked me to check if there was any other cracks and I confirmed that there wasn't any other. On the 6th of July when I called Lucky, he told me that I should stop calling him he was really nasty on the phone, so I decided to contact his office hoping to speak with customer services only to find myself leaving a message on answerphone. Lucky returned my call and said that there is nobody to report him to because he is one of the owners of the business, he was actually laughing and telling me to go and do my worst. Lucky contacted me on the 10th of July, he had transformed into this polite person and said that the doors were ready but I needed to pay him £500 before he could bring the doors, I asked him to bring the doors and I will pay him, he arrived with the doors, so I paid him. His installer (a different person this time) arrived an hour later and removed both front and back doors and started the installation, then an assistant arrived later to help the installer. By the time the installation of the front door was complete the walls around the frame were a complete mess then installation started on the back (Stable Door), when the glass went into the frame of the door it was installed the wrong way round (obscure glass at the top and clear glass at the bottom of the door) when I asked the installer why it was that way, he said the measurements were the wrong way round so they would have to get new glass panes manufactured for the door. I contacted Lucky about the untidy door frame but he could not commit to getting someone to tidy it up as you could see outside the house through gaps in the door frame and gap fillers all around the outside of the rear windows, so I had to employ builders to come and tidy up the doors and windows. On the 23rd of July, I had the installer contact me about coming to replace the glass panes for the stable door and upvc installation around the newly plastered door and window frames. Lucky also arrived and requested payment and I refused to pay him anymore until my work was finished, I also asked for the debris from the installations to be removed, he said the installer will remove them in his car, when I told him that the installer's car was too small to take the debris, Lucky confronted me and asked me if I was sick in the head, I was so shocked at the confrontation that I was completely speechless. Again when the installer got to the stable doors, he found out that yet again that they had made the same mistake as before (yes obscure glass at the top and clear glass at the bottom). Today the 7th of September, Lucky contacted me to ask for the balance of his money, I asked him when my stable door was going to be fixed but he could not be bothered to answer my question only to tell me that he was heading for my home. I told him that I was in my office and won't be at home until the evening, he said he did not care and if I wasn't at home he was going to remove my windows and take them away. He stupidly went to our house and one of my sons scared the hell out him.
