I will start by saying Sold themselves are great and in particular Ella Seki is fantastic and without her support, there is no way we would have got the sale over the line. Their communication was good and they kept us and the buyer up to date throughout. The reason for the low score is purely down to the solicitor that they recommended we use. We were assured Ackroyd would be good if we wanted it to go through quickly because they were in the same building and a deal was offered by using them with it being included in their fees. This was a huge mistake and by the end of it even Sold I feel regretted this advice! So go with Sold, but under no circumstances go with their recommendation of Ackroyd, choose your own solicitor.

Hector has been great throughout the whole process of purchase. In an already-lengthy process, I have no doubt that were he not involved, apparent communication issues between solicitors would have added weeks if not months to the process.

Ella Seki was VERY VERY helpful with the whole process of selling our property and we can't praise her enough, if we could give her 10 stars we would.

I can honestly say Hector Hadow has gone above and beyond throughout the entire process, not just for the sale but chasing my purchase solicitors also. He was very transparent start to finish and helped me make sense of everything. Hector Is a total asset to the company I couldn't have asked for a better estate agent!

Our property purchase through SOLD is about midway and I'll update this review at the end. So far the process has far exceeded our expectations and the guidance and communication from Sarah James has been exceptionally good. For people of my generation, it's a new world out there with online banking, grocery store self checkout, and virtual Real Estate Agencies etc, and I was a bit hesitant at first, but this flat purchase has been smooth with personal attention and clear communication from Sarah that surpasses my past experience with brick and mortar agencies, Thank you Sarah James!

From start to finish the whole process was fantastic.
Chris Jackson was so helpful and professional in helping us get the quick sale that we needed to secure
our new build home.
All the conveyancer team were also superb and helpful too.
A big shout out to Hector and Dahnish too who were really great in helping us through the process, but an even bigger shout out to Ella who was unbelievable from start to finish.
She was amazing and helped chase the all the solicitors who were involved. If it hadn't been for her and her team we definitely wouldn't have completed when we did.

Ella Seki is my hero... She happily managed all my questions, provided plenty of updates and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Highly recommend this company and Ella in particular.

I would strongly advise avoiding this company at all costs if possible. My experience was extremely negative. They were very pushy and applied constant pressure, trying to force decisions without providing full information.

I was asked to pay solicitors’ fees before the property had even been valued, just to have it taken off the market. This made no sense, as no buyer should be expected to commit money without knowing the full facts.

The daily emails and constant pressure created a stressful experience. To make matters worse, they would say one thing over the phone and then contradict themselves over email. If you do proceed with them, I would strongly recommend recording calls to protect yourself.

On the very day the property was valued, I received a late evening email saying there was suddenly another offer on the table, and that I had until midday the next day to increase mine. This kind of pressure tactic felt manipulative and unfair.

I was also told I could only use their recommended lenders and solicitors, which was misleading and restrictive.

Overall, the process was rude, pushy, and unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend them.

I recently bought a property through Sold.co.uk and the service was excellent. Sarah, Hector and Ella were brilliant to deal with - professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. They helped resolve an issue that could have delayed completion and got everything sorted quickly. Couldn’t recommend them more!
