Very helpful and friendly staff who were generally good about keeping us posted on things, especially once the DNO came through.
Did an excellent job.

OVO knew my power needs and offered a solar & battery installation to meet my requirements. The scaffolding went up on a Monday solar installation was Tuesday and Wednesday, then scaffolding removed on Thursday. Would highly recommend OVO.

Throughout , the experience from start to finish was exceptional, the only complaint is that I was told by the electrician that any discarded boxes / rubbish would be picked up by the company following the installation, to date the rubbish is still in my front garden

From my very first phone call to OVO, I can honestly say I was happy. The advice was very clear and helpful. All my questions were abled to be answered
This good service continued through the survey and subsequent decisions on siting the batteries and preparatory work needed prior to installation.
All the teams involved with the installation, scaffolders, fitters and electrician were courteous and efficient.
Following completion of the work, the after sales support were knowledgeable, patient
and helpful.

The company organised most things well, with only a few minor hiccoughs that led to a short delay. The installation team and electrician were excellent.

Our overall experience having solar PV and battery storage fitted by South Coast Solar has been excellent.
From initial call to installation completion I cannot fault the process. Rhys and Daniel kept us informed and their communication was great. The installation team and scaffolders were punctual, tidy and considerate. Overall I wouldn't hesitate in recommending South Coast Solar & Heating.

Installing solar with Ovo Solar & Heating South Coast has been one of the best investments I’ve made as a homeowner. From the initial consultation through to installation and aftercare, the whole process was seamless and incredibly well managed.

Every member of the team—from Sales and Operations to Customer Service and Aftercare—was knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The savings are already clear, and there’s a genuine return on the investment.

My only regret is not doing it sooner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ovo Solar & Heating South Coast to anyone considering solar.

The whole experience was easy, the only thing I would say is to start the process of getting your export account set up as soon as you get the installation date so you benefit immediately from the exporting

When buying, leading up to and including installation they were fantastic....2 years on and just outside their fitting warranty they couldnt care less. My wife and I are disabled and the system has failed. Because givenergy went bankrupt, the 25 year warranty is void. They expect us to source an independent solar specialist to perform a full inspection of the system at our cost before they will do anything to help us. They do not have enough engineers and when the system fails they do not want to know. They take days to reply to emails. Really really poor service. We are still paying the finance on a system that is not working. So not generating power or exporting.costing me.dearly every day its not repaired.

OVO are still supplying and fitting Solar panels country wide so I cannot understand why they have not supplied me with a list of solar experts that they are obviously still using, that are in my area, so that I can contact them to arrange an inspection and diagnosis. Aweful service.

1. So happy about our solar installation. OVO are super professional about everything they do.
2. The cost to install 18 panel, the 11.5 kWh battery and the inverter was a no brainier when we received the quote.
3. Brings a smile to your face every time you look at the Smart meter and the only cost is the day rate 52p.
4. All the guys that came to the house were polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Top team.

From start to finish the service has been fantastic! All staff were friendly and helpful and the solar panel installation went very smoothly. I'm more than happy with the end product. First class!

I chose OVO Solar & Heating South Coast as they are affiliated with our electricity supplier OVO. Knowing nothing about solar the most important thing to me was dealing with company had the backing of our electricity provider and had good ratings from other customers. Communication has been good throughout the process, the guys that came to site (from scaffolders, electrician and roofers) were all friendly and knowledgeable and happy to discuss plans before proceeding with their work. Always easy to speak to the office and follow up was excellent too. So we have a working solar+battery+eps installation, I can see it all on an easy to use app all done on time and to budget. You can't really ask more than that!

Our solar installation has just been completed, and I want to express how genuinely impressed we are with every part of the process. From the very first conversation with Sales through to project management and the final handover, OVO have been consistently professional, organised, and helpful.

The on‑site teams were outstanding.
The scaffolding company arrived exactly when promised and set everything up safely and efficiently - it was really quite a masterpiece of engineering!
The roofing team were exceptional - skilled, careful, and clearly proud of their work. And a special mention must go to Pete Roberts, the electrician, whose attention to detail and calm professionalism were second to none. All of them worked through extremely challenging conditions, with temperatures reaching 36°C, yet maintained a level of workmanship and attitude that was genuinely remarkable.

The end result is fantastic. The system looks superb, performs beautifully, and the whole installation has been completed to a very high standard. It’s rare these days to find a company where every part of the process feels this well‑coordinated and this customer‑focused.

We’re delighted with the outcome and now look forward to our upcoming OVO air‑conditioning installation with complete confidence.
