Took my desktop PC in for a service and clean, Phil was super approachable and professional. He hooked up a new SSD for me and re-did all the cabling into a much tidier fashion that I had done! GPU is now running 10-15 degrees cooler since. Stellar job, would definitely recommend!

Software Solutions Wigan has to be the best place to resolve IT issues, Recently I had a problem with a usb drive and Phil recommended a data recovery company who resolved the issue promptly and efficiently. For lap top repairs Phil offers brilliant advice and his charges are fair and competitive

Been using Phil for some time now and I won't go anywhere else. He built a new customised computer for me, speedily and exceptionally competitive price wise. Also rebuilt my wife's laptop which was so slow she couldn't use it. Now it works like new and is very fast in loading word and excel and web pages. He won't waste your money and he is very

I had loads of viruses and threats popping up on my laptop and thought that all of my work would be compromised. Phil was amazing as he did remote support and talked me through everything he was doing to make me feel at ease. He managed to fix it within 15 mins and i feel much better now. Cannot reccommend him enough. Fantastic service.

I had inadvertently deleted all of my granddaughter's video files off her Samsung Tablet SD card and then emptied the recycling bin to free up space!!
Lost forever I thought.
Shared my experience with Phil at Software Solutions, "leave it with me" he replied.
Several days later and much effort using different recovery options he had recovered all the data and put it on a portable hard drive.

Phil is well informed in all aspects of IT, has the ability to diagnose problems & provide effective solutions quickly and at a reasonable cost. We are fortunate to have the excellent service he provides so close at hand whether this be in respect of repairs, maintenance, new and replacement hardware or simply guidance.

Visited Software Solutions on a recommendation following a fairly disastrous attempt to buy a laptop from Amazon as a gift for my teenage son. Phil was knowledgeable and helpful and so I decided to leave it in his hands after telling him what was needed. Sure enough, he called as he said he would and was able to source and setup the device within a couple of days. Cue one happy customer with an even happier son. Will go straight back to Software Solutions in future because for all Amazon's convenience, you can’t beat local expertise and the same, if not better, prices. Cheers Phil!

I contacted Phil at Software Solutions enquiring about a graphics card upgrade and a WI-FI card install, I took in my PC last weekend (19/1/23) so he could have a quick check and then recommended a graphics card that would fit in my current case and run with the power supply that is already in there to help keep costs down, this weekend I tool it in for the upgrade and after just over an hour I got a call to say it was ready, great job done.

Took my laptop in at just after lunchtime today with an issue, Phil diagnosed the potential issue and offered a cost to strip and repair if he could. Picked it up three hours later all fixed and and running all for a very modest cost. Would highly recommend him for any computer problems.

Phil fixed my 13 year old Dell laptop at a very reasonable price. It now works so much more quickly and more efficiently. The service was fast and he has saved me buying a new one.
