Sarah was extremely helpful. There was no pushy sales pitch just helpful advice and guidance. Having visited all of the furniture stores on Forbury Retail park it was a pleasure to return to Sofology. I'm very excited to get my new furniture!

I’m disappointment and frustrated with my recent experience regarding my sofa order.

I placed my order at the beginning of November, and as of today, I have still not received it. Given the lengthy delivery timeframe quoted at the point of sale (approximately four months), I believe customers should reasonably be given more flexibility to reconsider details such as colour or design during the early stages of the order.

Just two days after placing my order, I contacted your team to request a simple colour change. I was extremely frustrated to be informed that because my request was made after 49 hours rather than within a strict 48-hour window, I would be charged a £300 penalty to proceed with the change. This rigid application of policy feels wholly unreasonable, particularly as production had clearly not begun and delivery was still months away.

Despite the minimal nature of the request and the long lead time, there was no willingness from your customer service team to show understanding or flexibility. The lack of clear communication and the unhelpful attitude I encountered left me feeling treated unfairly as a customer.

In conclusion, I am extremely disappointed with the way my complaint has been handled. Despite raising clear concerns and giving Sofology the opportunity to address the issue, my complaint has been completely ignored and no meaningful effort has been made to resolve it. This lack of response and accountability is unacceptable and has only added to my frustration,This has been a deeply regrettable experience and has significantly affected my confidence in your company.

We visited the Reading store after viewing suitable sofas on the website. The staff member we spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpful. This meant we could complete our purchase having had our questions answerered.

Great choice of styles, configurations, colours and materials, all with great quality and finish. Ali, our salesman, was really helpful and knowledgeable of the products and helped us get to the right choice and options. This is the second time we’ve purchased from Sofology, with the first pair of sofas now 10 years old and still comfy and in great condition. It was just time for a change of style and colour tone. Would thoroughly recommend a visit to the Reading store, if you are in the market for sofas.

Good service

We visited the Reading showroom knowing what couch we wanted as we visited before. Ali wasn't pressuring us the first time to purchase the couch, he explained to us the monthly payment options.

We weren't sure about the colour, so he was patient with us choosing the right one! He explained to us the after care and the warranty if we wanted it with the purchase and what the benefits are. He was professional and friendly throughout the purchase.

I would recommend this specific store to anyone. Sarah was so lovely, me and my husband popped into store this after noon around 4 and found a sofa we loved, we looked elsewhere and just happend to pop back in at 4:50 10 mins before closing! Just to have one last look. Well, Sarah approached us and gave us everything we could possibly need to know with such a smile on her face! Being she was due to finish any minute! She was MORE than happy to help us, and with that we bought the sofa. Sarah truly is a credit to this company. I applaud her, and another very nice lady who I couldn’t quite catch her name, but also extremely lovely, I will now more than likely go there anytime I need something like this again. Absolutely fantastic service. 10000/10
