The service from Sofology Norwich was very good and credit to Laura for this who has been excellent. Unfortunately, the sofa we ordered at full price on Monday was then reduced significantly on Thursday as they are selling off their store stock. We'd have quite happily bought the demo model. The store told us we'd need to contact customer support, which was not a problem and I thought would be straightforward. However, they promised a call back in 24 -72 hours which never came. Via online chat today I have been told they will charge me over £500 to cancel or change the order to allow me to buy the discounted sofa. I'm a perfectly reasonable person and a small charge would be acceptable to cover admin costs but £500 is simply unacceptable. Don't forget this was only three days since I placed the order for a product with a lead time of 'from 6 weeks'
It's always confusing as to why companies lose sight of what matters and all common sense goes out of the window. Even more frustrating when they have great members of staff who do all the hard work in store only for this to be undone.

Mark and Wayne were amazing to deal with, they always took their time, we never felt rushed or pressured, just good customer service. Dealt with Wayne initially and returned the following weekend and ordered with Mark, both knowledgable and helpful, even when we had questions after we’d place an order they were there to help.
