The application process for credit was not to my liking.
The store assistant asking me for my personal details on the shop floor.
I would have much rather he handed me the iPad for me to enter my salary and postcode ect.
Very nearly cancelled the whole transaction due to fear of security and to go with it , he was very loud.!
I ended up by looking over my shoulder all the time and whispering my details.
This was to no avail because he then could not hear me.
In the end , in frustration I took the iPad from him and continued the application myself.
There was also a discrepancy regarding the two year guarantee.
I read on the application ( a box that I had to tick ) that the product I was applying for credit for , had two year guarantee.
The sales assistant said that it only came with a one year guarantee.
When I queried this.
His response was that I had to tick this box in order for the credit application to go through.
Left the store after the purchase thinking (“ at least I’m covered by the consumer credit act”)
I shouldn’t have to be thinking something like this after a purchase from a company as large as Sofology!
The sales assistant was very polite and keen and helpful.
I don’t think that this experience was entirely his fault.
I think may be it is bad practice on the companies part.
Anyway I my application said that the product I am buying had a two year guarantee.
So I will use this as my guarantee document.

In May we went to store to purchase two sofas. The assistant was friendly and helpful. We chose 2 sofas which came with a free footstool and placed the order and paid by credit card.
We asked if the order could be made quickly as having been let down by SCS we were sitting on wooden garden furniture. Were told it would be 10-12 weeks. The furniture was delivered on the 17th of August and wasn't what we ordered even the delivery driver thought it was strange as what he had on the lorry was two 2 seater sofas and an armless chair. When we contacted Sofolgy we told the sofas we ordered were not made in the configuration we ordered. We returned to store on the 23rd of August and spoke to Raj (who was excellent) spoke to customer services on our behalf and helped us choose an alternative purchase which was £2000 cheaper. Contacted customer services who said the credit would normally be refunded when the new furniture was delivered but would refund when the new order went live.
Spoke to Millie at customer service on the 26th of August and she was able to organise the loan of 2 sofas which was delivered on the 29th ( thank you Millie).
Although Sofology customer service is a thousand times better than SCS they have offered no compensation . We have also lost on a footstool and they still insist that we pay for delivery even though it is Sofology that are at fault.
I will say that Raj at the Enfield store deserves a bonus.

We were looking for a specific type of sofa and staff were doing their utmost to deliver a product we were happy with.
The showroom was amazing with plenty to see and try without rushing into any decision.

The service was efficient and friendly, and Sofology showrooms are laid out very well. All in all a very good experience.

I VISITED SOFOLOGY IN ENFIELD. THERE WERE 3 STORES IN A ROW, DFS SOFOLOGY & FURNITURE VILLAGE. THE INTENTION WAS TO VISIT EACH. THE PREVIOUS WEEKEND I HAD VISITED 4 OTHER STORES. NEXT WAS PRETTY GOOD BUT I WASN'T 100% SURE. WE DID DFS THEN SOFOLOGY, BECAUSE OF THE MULTITUDE OF GREAT & COMFORTABLE SOFAS, RANGE OF COLOURS AND AN AMAZINGLY GREAT GUY CALLED TOM, WHO NEW HIS STUFF! I TOLD HIM WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR, HE WAS HONEST, REMINDED ME OF THINGS I HADN'T EVEN CONSIDERED. TBH I WAS A LITTLE CONFUSED AFTER SEARCHING ONLINE FOR MONTHS BUT WITH TOMS HELP I LEFT KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. I WENT BACK THE NEXT DAY AND MADE PURCHACE, A SOFA BED AND A SOFA. WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIANCE. THANKYOU SOFOLOGY THANKYOU TOM

The salesperson Imi was a pleasure to deal with, she was extremely helpful, very knowledgable about all the products and any possible add ons. Made the whole experience a pleasure to spend money 🤣

Raj out salesperson was very knowledgable
And I feel he led us to getting the sofa we wanted

Great sales person, very patient and knowledgeable. Explained what we were looking for and she pointed out the best options. We had actually been next door to Furniture Village first, and I can say, the service we received at Sofology was far better. It was because of our sales assistant we brought from Sofology.

I had a fantastic service when I approached Shop the lady who helped me with choosing my Furniture was amazing and fantastic.
