The staff are lovely they don’t push a sale; the advise Wioleta gave was amazing my dog loved her. I gave the wrong email address by mistake which effected my application for finance and Kareem the manager was brilliant he chased it up for me and made sure the application went through. From going to all the other sofa stores their sofas were the most comfortable and the staff made you feel at home.

From start to finish, a stress free and laid back process.
Gordon who helped us on the day was top notch, very helpful and extremely professional.
He explained and took us through everything without it being all to overwhelming.

Overall Good service and quality but bit of delay in delivery

Salesperson was very polite, helpful and explained everything about the product and the financing of the product. He also explained all the extras but didn't force you to buy them.

Excellent Service

Umut was very helpful with me picking out a sofa advised me on what was suitable for me as I have mobility problems. I was between 2 sofas and he helped me with picking the better one for me. He left me to browse the store and came and answered my questions when I needed him to. No pressure into buying anything just very helpful and understanding.

Gordon was very helpful and knowledgable. His approach was friendly but professional. We appreciated being left on our own, with plenty of time to make our decision, without being relentlessly pursued around the store, as had been our experience elsewhere.
Our sofas were delivered in June and it was immediately apparent that there was an issue with the 2.5 seater sofa. After sitting on it for even a short while, the seat cushions became deformed, with a ‘bubble’ appearing in the centre and a void underneath the fabric.
We contacted customer services within a week of taking delivery and were told the sofa ‘needed to settle’ and that we should ‘plump the cushions’ after each use. This is impossible as the sofa is a recliner and the cushions are not removable.
During the following three weeks, the appearance and comfort of the sofa continued to deteriorate. We called customer services again and submitted video and photographic evidence. They reluctantly agreed to send someone to carry out an inspection. The technician told us it was a fault of the design as there are springs embedded in the foam and that the only way to restore the appearance is to hit the front of the seat very hard. His report maintained that there was no fault with the sofa; according to him, the problem lies in the design. This is unique to the 2.5 seater, as the cushions are wider. He did not inspect the springs embedded in the foam.
We did not accept this as an explanation, neither do we feel we should have to use brute force to try and make the sofa look pristine. Indeed so much force is required that we are unable to replicate this.
Customer services have been incredibly unhelpful. They have not responded to emails and have not told the truth ( we have an email saying that our case was being passed on, when this was never going to happen and in fact it was closed). Having spoken to one of the agents today (my call to them), I was told that ‘the sofa is fit for purpose, it’s just not fit for your purpose’. This is completely ludicrous! What else is a sofa for other than to sit on?
We revisited the Croydon store today. The experienced salesman said he had never heard of, or been told that the sofa required this kind of ‘care’. The shop display sofa which is identical to ours in every way, looked and felt like new, despite the fact it is sat on by numerous customers. There is clearly a defect with ours.
We have been told that we cannot reject it, as the technician said there is no manufacturing fault. Our only option is to contact the Furniture Ombudsman and arrange for an independent inspection.
Meanwhile we are left with a brand new sofa, which looks terrible each time it is used and the onus is on us to prove this is the case.
My advice would be not to purchase anything from Sofology. Their customer service is appalling.

From start to finish, Umut was there to answer any queries. He took the time to explain the process, Ts&Cs, and was very knowledgable about the sofa we were interested in.
