The chilipad is a great investment
I have two chilipad cubes with the dual control queen bed pad which was bought as a present for me and my ex husband back in 2017. To this day (in 2026) I still use my original cubes and pad and I consider it one of the best gifts I have ever received. Early on, I accidentally broke the clip that secures the tube to one of the cubes and was able to replace it under the year warranty without issue (granted that was 9 years ago so I dont know how their customer service is now). It does have to be filled up much more frequently these days but thats to be expected with a 9 year old product that has seals that cannot be replaced. The only complaint that I have is that its now very difficult to sleep in beds that are not my own and not wake up drenched in sweat because i'm so used to having the chilipad.

I noticed the the pad is much more effective when the unit is a good bit elevated above the level of the mattress. I think the standing column in the supply line provides added pressure to the tubes in the pad. That way, they stay distended instead of collapsing under your body weight. As a result, the cooling effect is 10 times more.

Product is OK until your warranty expires
I bought the dock pro king size for 2000$. It does well what it supposed to do, but has leaking and other issues. The system had to be replaced multiple times. Except when both machines stop working after 13 months, the only thing I got was a free self repair kit. Unfortunately it didn't help. That is all. After 13 months and 2000$ that is ridiculous and the customer service acted up after the warranty expired.
They offered a discount to get 2 new devices for 1200. No way I pay more so I got a pod 5 and I am really happy with it. Totally different world.

Ordering wasn’t bad but I find the website to be a bit chaotic. I think the product is a bit pricy but we’ll see if it is worth it. We are a preorder so it won’t ship for at least 3 weeks but we knew that up front. That is really all I can say at this point.

Product Failure just over a year after purchase
I purchased the full unit in April of 2025 and was honestly super happy with it for a year until both units started leaking like a sieve. When I called with my concerns (and a video to back up my concerns) I was told my warranty had expired the month before and I would be provided with a 25% discount code to purchase a new or refurbished unit. I decided to bite the bullet and purchase 2 refurbished units with the discount and it didn't work. When I followed up I was told there had been a misunderstanding and the discount was available on the refurbished units. I'm so disappointed in the poor quality, poor warranty and poor communications of this company. Literally the CSR told me, hey, the refurbished units are in the high $600's, with your discount you will bring it down to the low $500's. I did not misunderstand. Disappointed.

Power board out after 1.5 years
This is my fourth or fifth Chili Cube over several years. When the cube works, it's wonderful. However, the life span of these units is just not long enough. My husband no longer uses them because of the problems with them. I purchased this latest one in January 2025. There is no power to it and I have to pay to replace the power board or purchase a new unit at 25% off. This is too soon to have a major problem like this.

Chilipad Is The Best
For 18 years, I slept hot. I would wake up every hour on the hour and flip flop because I felt like I was in a frying pan. I bought 5 different mattresses over those painful years but none worked. I tried fans, I tried mattress pads, I tried wet towels but nothing worked. I researched the internet and FINALLY found the Chilipad. I purchased the Cube in 2020 and For the last 6 years I have slept better that I ever thought I would be able to. I got my life back! Now, I’ve pulled the trigger and upgraded to the DockPro and it’s even better! Thank you!

Could find Buy Button at first- should be large and right there...
I had to search for the buy button for a while seemed weird like you didn't want to sell one. Then it just appeared on the screen...lol. Give my idea about just a torso cooling pad. No need for legs and head is on pillow. Lot so wasted surface area that does not need cooling. Also most people sleep in the middle. So requires much less pad and cooling capacity. Half the price too maybe :) I have still not received the unit. This was my buying feedback. Also an idea for future product.
