We've used this company for over 15…

We've used this company for over 15 years, mainly for week long rentals in Orlando.
We've stayed at a number of resorts and never had a bad experience. For the price you can't go wrong, I've recommended them to so many people.
We've also used them for hotel stays in hawaii, new york, Boston to name a few as well as theatre tickets.
It's an American company and we're in the UK, no issues at all.

Our stay last week was at silver lake resort in Orlando and as usually, got a great condo, no issues at all.

We have used SkyAuction since 2010

We have used SkyAuction since 2010. No problems until de pandemic started. We had purchased a voucher for a week long reservation (we decided for Atlantic city in May 2020) and we also purchased an all-inclusive in DR (Bayahibe) for October 2020. Of course, both transactions before the pandemic started. Total cost: around 1200$. To make a long story short, we lost all of our money as both places were closed at the time we were supposed to travel there. For a while, SkyAuction replied to us telling us we had 3 months to rebook. But of course, pandemic still going on made that 3 months unrealistic (as it is the original reason why everything was cancelled). SkyAuction has stopped replying to our emails a VERY long time ago.

We bidded on an auction did not win they charged my card but refunded it as soon as we pointed out the problem! We decided we would use them again to book our trip to orlando fl. The trip got cancelled obviously because of covid we had they insurance and they refunded us back finally in september after fighting since April. It is now November 10th and I got a charge on my card and then an email telling us we were refunded twice so they were charging my card again. Without permission. Yes I was refunded twice for 2 different rooms one of which was there fault for charging in the first place. So my best advice is do not use them because without warning they will charge your card again! Pretty sure that's illegal!

they sell knockoffs now.do not buy the sunglasses.

Because of the travel ban skyauction has now started selling a lot of items.
I guess the price was telling but I thought it was a reputable site like ebay or amazon where you cannot outright lie and sell fakes.
Fakes are against the law in the US.
32 for designer glasses is cheap...but i have bought real ones for those prices before when i got lucky at ross or whatever.
and overstock had them for 55..which i am now buying as they do not sell fakes.
The case was stamped...not embossed.the inside of the case came with the plastic insides unglued and loose.no papers..no cloth.
The glasses are a decent knockoff...but I do not wear knockoffs.
I wrote skyauction and the email bounced back to me.
I was going to just take the loss and forget about it until I got more offers from them in my email this morning.

Phenomenal Initial Experience

I could not have desired more. I booked a Hotel in Singapore for two (2) nights in December 2019, at what I thought was an impossible nightly rate for the standard of the facility.
It was my first time using SkyAuction, so I was extremely apprehensive. To my surprise, I got so much more than I had bargained for. Great location, near the MRT, Shopping and Dining options. The Hotel Room was tastefully decorated with all the possible conveniences one could desire. The Hotel's personnel were extremely warm and willingly provided all the information, regardless of the number of requests made of them. The mornings opened with wide and varied breakfast options, included in the rate.
My major regret/utmost disappointment was that I did not fly in earlier to have spent at least five (5) nights at the Hotel.
I continued to look for opportunities in Hong Kong during the month of January 2020, but nothing was available.
SkyAuction, I thank you for opening my eyes and allowing me to trust your Organisation to the extent that I proceeded to participate in the services you provide.
Rest assured that before I set out on a future adventure, however small or grand, I would firstly check in on SkyAuction to see what is available.

Buccaneer - St Croix USVI

I have been St Croix over 100 times. Each trip is always enjoyable and relaxing. The staff at the Buccaneer Hotel treat you as one of their family. I would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers visiting St. Croix

Not worth it. Period. // Revised //

Horrible customer service after the transaction was booked. No returning of calls. Emails with one and two word responses, never answering the questions. I do not reccomend using them whatsoever. I did give them 2 stars only for being cheap. Oh wait, that was the service I recieved.

Your patronizing reply is telling. If you would have spent 1/10th of the time answering your emails/phone calls/correspondence like you did with my review of SkyAuction; you would have had a better review. Furthermore, I never complained about the price, only the cheap service. I seriously don't want to go into the breakdown of my emails, phone calls, and lack of correspondence from your company, but I will if you like? I stand behind my review, and would gladly share my experience with anyone with your organization. Notice I said inside your organization, I mentioned to quite a few already in detail how your service was lacking. In future, don't reply as you did comparing pricing to service? Your apology is not accepted, as your comments come across as pandering and excuse laden, while accepting no responsibility for YOUR actions.

I wouldn't describe that as cheap, I would describe it as amazing! Sometimes in order to get this kind of incredible deal and save thousands of dollars our customers have to go through a process that is a bit more arduous than is normal if you paid the full amount. I have been using Sky Auctions for the last 10 years or so.I have won 10 or more auctions Always have been excellent vacations. All our trips were what they were advertise. Customer service is great. I once had some issues with an airline and they stepped in to help resolve our issues. Great website, Great deals. Just know what U are bidding on and what it cost to book it somewhere else. I've purchased several vacation condo…

I've purchased several vacation condo weeks from SkyAuction over the years. For us, this is the best way to go. We're able to make breakfast in before heading out for the day, spend some time stretched out reading, enjoying the resort pools, and feeling like we're in a nice home. Just be sure you read all the details about surcharges, fees and availability before you buy. Every time we're chatting with people at the resort pool or bar, they can't believe how little we paid.

Horrible experience

The ship was old we knew that, but the disrepair and condition was very poor with water dripping onto our tile floor which made it very dangerous to walk. They finally fixed that when we complained but it took a few days. The bunks were dangerous to sleep in with the rolling of the ship. I thought I would roll out on several occasions. The wood around the door on inside of bathroom in cabin 1 was rotted. The guy came once in a week to clean the room and we had to ask for new towels and toilet paper. We never got any more soap.
This was the worst! They kept recycling the the same 5 ingredients. My husband ate linguini about 4 days in a row! Black beans today would end up as bean soup tomorrow and the next day. The chicken was almost inedible and I was sick most days on the boat with diarrhea. I have concerns about the cleanliness of the kitchen. The dishes certainly were not sanitized as I watched them wash them each night. The heat in the dining room was intense with broken fans and the staff was surly and acted put out if you wanted anything different or more food. The portions were so small my husband was literally hungry. I would equate it to high school cafeteria food, but my high school was better. They rushed us thru meals except when they were making speeches at the end. The YouTube video with Capt. Sly, showed lobster and lots of platters of appetizers, we were given small amount s of appetizers and things like pizza with sliced hot dogs and small hot dogs with barbeque sauce. It was completely different than what was advertised on YouTube, in essence fraud.
cokes were 3.00 and warm. No premium liquors, only the cheapest stuff. Watered down juice almost impossible to get refills of anything but water.
I am sure they knew their jobs but they did not seem like they wanted to be helpful. Several seemed like they had a very poor attitude. They were surely and the gentleman with the mustache yelled at my husband and was rude. I would have left no tip except for Mash up and the young man who drove the launch to shore, they both were very nice.
Aloof, difficult to understand, very secretive about where we were going and what we would do next, spoke in a high falsetto voice, rambled on the morning "Story time". Not very friendly and instructed the crew not to share information about where we were going. He dressed in a Pope costume for a couple's renewal of vows, thereby insulting the catholic passengers, it was just sacrilegious. Only friendly the last day when telling me it was customary to give a 125.00 tip for each one of us.
Story time was a joke, I was not interested in crab races or the dress up party. The shore excursion I was able to go on due to my intestinal issues, was 11 people smashed in a hot mini van driving to a few places like a fort, a garden and a lookout for a volcano. It was totally not worth 114 for two people, although the tour guide was nice and spoke very clearly and was easy to understand.
The photos I say and video showed all sails up and the vessel actually sailing under wind power. This is the only reason I came to sail. What I found was that we were never just sailing, but we motored the whole way. The put a couple of sails up (they only had about 2-or 3 for front mast only) just for show but we were not really sailing. The ship's couple of sails were so worn and patched it was pathetic and it was clear there was never any intention to actually sail the ship. It wasn't even possible with the current number of sails. There was a box on the bar if we wanted to give a donation to buy new sails! There again, this is false advertising.
It was like on a horrible week that I just kept praying would end. The only really nice day was a day when I was able to go to the beach in Bequia. The beach was beautiful but then I had to go back to the ship.

I used to buy the $249 week vouchers…

I used to buy the $249 week vouchers that were good for 2 years at over 3000 resorts...not any more...the new program is too restrictive and represents poorer value.

We used to be able to sell them for a lot lower, but times change and our suppliers prices go up. I don't think $299 is too much to ask for a week long vacation rental and it still represents exceptional value. I too sometime yearn for the old days when prices were lower but I still feel like our prices are pretty good!

I have used SkyAuction many times and it never ceases to deliver. I have referred and recommended the site to many people around the world. The latest trip to Costa Rica was 66% less than the regular resort booking fee and was spectacular! Thank you.

Good variety of resorts

Good variety of resorts for auction. However some of them are very old and outdated. There should be reviews from actual travellers not owners

We do our absolute best to ensure that nothing is hidden within our offers. It would be near impossible to display each day or week independently during an auction. I see you choose a St. Martin Hotel that even with the fees still saved you over 70% of it's normal cost on other sites. You have to admit that is impressive savings!
