Facial was only about 35 minutes
Facial was only about 35 minutes, when was suppose to have 50 minutes. The Aesthetician started late. Also, no neck massage, and the hand arm was more of a rub than massage. Extractions left bruises on my face.

The first time I went
The first time I went, my facial was wonderful. However, the technician for my second facial popped my pimples and left permanent scarring on my chin. She should have known to perform extractions only on pores, and not on pimples.
Nice staff and good massage
Nice staff and good massage , but I didn’t love the Fashion District facilities (weird narrow hallway as the waiting area, could hear people chatting through the walls of the massage room ( though that’s not rare in Manhattan spas I guess), and the receptionist forgot to tell my therapist that it was an aromatherapy service so I didn’t get everything I paid for. I’m not unhappy, but I will probably try a different location next.

Please consider changing this rule for people looking to save can still take advantage of exceptional beauty services offered.

I got a 50 min facial for 59 dollars which sounded okay to me
Taking the package helps better as their facials are good for skin and show results

Unfortunate Incident
On a Friday I called to schedule an appointment for a Microdermabrasion and Customized Facial. I spoke with someone to set up the appointment and during the conversation we discussed pricing wherein they would honor a $90 promo for the service. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment for that Monday at noon. When I arrived I was greeted by a receptionist who was polite and had me fill out paperwork and asked if the service was prepaid I informed her no. The esthetician came out shortly thereafter and escorted me into the room. After the service was complete, I walked out to the reception desk and met with another receptionist who informed me the price was $135. I proceeded to tell her that when I made the appointment they told me $90. She told me I was misinformed and that I would have to pay the $135. I again explained to her that was not what I was told and that I would like to speak to a manager cause I would not pay that amount. She then proceeded to tell me that if I didn’t pay the full amount it would be considered stealing and that I would be a thief. I was absolutely mortified that this young lady was speaking to me like this as there were other patrons in the waiting room and the other receptionist was sitting right next to her. She then indicated that she could cut me a break and charge me $100. I told her I wanted to speak to a manager or a supervisor because I was done speaking to her. She then antagonized me saying that it was only a $10 difference what was the big deal - if $10 more was to much for me to handle. I explained to her it was not the $10 it was the principal of the matter. It was absolutely absurd and I could not even believe this is the way I was being spoken to at a Spa. My patience was wearing really thin at this point and I demanded to speak to a manager. She then informed me there was no manager to assist me. I then told her to charge me the $90 and to have a manager contact me for the difference. She then repeated to me that I would have to pay the full amount or that would be considered stealing. At this point I told her to get a manager on the phone because I was absolutely done speaking with her. I literally asked her over 10 times to speak to a manager. She finally got a manager on the phone who spoke with me and indicated that the pricing recently increased and that as a courtesy would honor the $90 plus tax. I told the manager that was fine and that I just wanted to leave because I was so upset with how I was being treated. It is absolutely crazy to me that I go to get a Spa treatment to unwind and relax and then to be completely demeaned and treated this way. I was more stressed out leaving the spa then when I arrived. It is completely unacceptable to treat people this way. It’s very unfortunate because I felt the esthetician did a phenomenal job. She was very thorough and attentive. I would of gladly paid for the service again but after being treated and spoken to in such a derogatory way I would never return to this location. I received a phone call from the manager the next day who was the person who set the apointment for me and offered me the pricing. He did apologize and acknowledge the incident.

The technicians can vary, so choose wisely. Shout out to the few tech's that use warm towels before sessions- Those guys rock! A lot of A+ Techs, few that are just B's but are super nice anyway
