Repair of 1930s camera done in good time with a great result at a very fair price. Can't ask for more than that.

I don't live anywhere near their shop, so called them about a used camera I was interested in. Maks, who took my call was excellent. Answered all my (many) questions clearly and honestly and promptly sent me additional photos of the item as per my requests. Once ordered, the camera arrived very promptly and exactly as described (its one minor fault had been clearly explained to me). Price was more than reasonable given that Skears had serviced the camera and give a 12-month warranty. Sure, I might have found an equivalent item sold "as seen" from a private seller for less, but for a 50 year old camera, that warranty's worth a lot.

Fantastic customer service. In a day and age where internet sales dominate this shop stands for everything that is good about retail. They were helpful, especially Maks, and the used camera I purchased is excellent. They test everything properly and explain features and offer support. I have not shopped there before but would go back in an instant.

I have used Skears Photographic a number of times over the years for various different reasons and the service has always been excellent. The recent repair to a lens hood, cost me a fraction of the cost of a manufacturer repair.

Perfect job, no hassle, great communication

Took my Canon to a well known high street chain and they were unable to repair my camera. It was they who recommended I try Skears. Needless to say my experience of them was brilliant. Excellent communication, fast turn around, very reasonably priced and my camera is as good as new again. Give these people a call with your camera issues. If they can’t fix, probably need body can.
