I recently had a 4-hour 1:1 digital photoraphy course with Sompn.

I found hi to be very personable and an excellent teacher that knew his stuff which he was able to put across extremely well and was able to teach some very techincal points in a very simplistic and understandable way.

he also showed me some really novel tricks of the trade that really blew me away (no soilers here!).

I'd recommend his services to anyone and shall certainly be booking a follo-up course soon.

I booked a 1 to 1, 6-hour learning session with Simon to gain knowledge and confidence to use a DSL camera in manual mode for work. The two 3-hour sessions have given me the confidence to be able to out and take decent photos. Simon was very knowledgeable, calm and helpful. I would recommend!

Found Simoneverettphotography online last minute a couple of days before our wedding day before Christmas. The best decision we ever made. He was very responsive to any of our questions. My (now) husband and I were having an intimate wedding ceremony in Meopham but still wanted to capture the day for us and the family to cherish. I found Simon (and a few others) online who is local to the area. Initially my conversation with his was via live chat (which i thought was great) then moved over to email. Simon was incredibly responsive, very accommodating and understood what we were trying to achieve. We knew he felt like the right fit.
The day of the wedding, Simon was there promptly, spoke and coordinated with my husband. Simon was very friendly and put everyone at ease and he managed to capture every moment we wanted.
Now the turnaround time; our wedding was on the Saturday and we received all the photos back on THURSDAY! We thought that was unbelievable. This would definitely be different to someone having a large, all day wedding but even so, there were hundreds of edited and beautiful photos in our inbox at such a quick speed!

I recently took this photography course with my father-in-law and niece, and we all had such an enjoyable experience! Simon was incredibly patient and explained everything in a clear, simple way that made learning easy and fun. We all came away feeling like we’d learned a lot and gained real confidence using our cameras. I’d definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in improving their photography skills.

I did Simon's 2x3hr intro course with my daughter-in-law and grand-daughter. The course opened all of our eyes to taking better photographs! Within minutes we had ditched the "auto" settings on our camera's and switched to "manual" - we learned and experimented with the basics of ISO, shutter-speed and aperture, before moving on to colour, black and white, sunlight/cloud, shadows, movement - the list went on! Simon was a great teacher, full of knowledge and enthusiasm. He spent time with each of us, giving comments and suggestions and encouraging us to experiment. An excellent course - make sure you bring spare batteries as you will take a lot of photographs!

My experience with Simon was a very positive one. He provided a professional, responsvie and friendly service. Simon even stayed up late to finalise the files to ensure I met my tight deadline. And the result? I couldn't have asked for better!

I did 2 x 3 hour beginner's sessions with Simon and learned what I wanted to learn about my camera's functions as well as some creative techniques. Simon was very happy to answer all my (very basic!) questions and was not at all intimidating, which is important for a novice! Would recommend and local locations were perfect for me.

Today I had my beginners course with Simon. This is the first time I’ve ever used a camera other than my iPhone so was really coming in blind and had lots of questions! Simon was super patient and explained everything to me in detail. After a run through and some theory behind all the key aspects I needed to know, I was let loose with a camera and we did majority of the session around a local park taking pictures and learning as I went. Simon has a wealth of experience and was able to spark creative ideas which I was able to develop throughout the session. I also came without a camera as I was undecided what I wanted to get, so Simon came with a couple of different cameras to use and see to get an idea of what I would be most comfortable and suitable using. I would really recommend Simon and look forward to developing my knowledge further with additional courses once my new camera is here.

We booked Simon for our 11 year old daughter who we purchased a second hand camera for for Christmas. Simon was extremely patient with her and explained how to use her new camera and ways to get great pictures by taking time to view her surroundings and setting on the camera before taking the picture. We would highly recommend using Simon and will definitely use him again ourselves.
