We asked for a quote for two large windows as part of a total property refurbishment. The Shuttercraft representative was knowledgeable, efficient, charming and attentive to our specification.
Delivery was just about when it had been promised for, a considerable feat in these difficult times.
The fitting was straightforwardly carried out by a very experienced man, quick and clean and the shutters look absolutely fantastic. So much so that, before the fitter left the site, two of our neighbours had asked him to arrange site visits for quotes - and they both ordered shutters. Highly recommended

I chose Shuttercraft on the basis of the positive reviews I’d read here. As a company, they may be good, as long as everything goes to plan. In my case it did not. Things I wish I’d known: the shutters come from China. Quality control consists of a photograph of them leaving the factory in China. They are not unpacked on arrival here prior to delivery at the customer’s house. This means, if they are damaged in transit, no-one will know until they are in the process of fitting them. I had ordered two shutters. Given the boxes aren’t checked prior to arriving at the customer’s house, it would make sense to me to open both boxes en situe before installing either. I was left in the situation where one shutter was fitted, having had holes drilled into brand new tiles and then the fitter realised that the other was irreparably damaged and could not be fitted. The second shutter had to be re-ordered and made from scratch. The only concession that was made was for the replacement shutter to be flown from China instead of being shipped. Even so, this is not a quick process. Charlie told me I was rude. I wish I had been as I’d feel a lot better about the experience. I understand things can go wrong but, as a paying customer, I would not expect to be insulted. As it is, poor customer service and products damaged in transit did not fulfil my expectations of quality products and service to match the price paid.

Charlie was super from start to finish. Always professional and a pleasure to deal with and always happy to answer any questions. The fitters were polite and professional and nice to have in the house. The shuttters are absolutely gorgeous and so well made and the blackout system is by far the most effective blackout we’ve had after trying curtains and blinds over the years. I wholeheartedly recommend both product and service.

Absolutely delighted with our new French door shutters. From enquiry to installation, the service has been excellent. Charlie’s advice helped me to choose the best option for our windows which now look stunning. The installation by Mark was professional, very neat and exceptionally tidy. The quality of the shutters and the finish give a look way beyond the cost.
I’d recommend Shuttercraft on service and quality to anybody thinking about installing shutters.

We had an excellent service from Shuttercraft Nottingham&Derby from start to finish. The communication was sufficient and timely, our emails and queries were answered. COVID 19 guidance was clearly communicated at all stages. Mark who installed our shutters was very professional, did a brilliant job, tidied up everything and explained how everything works and even the cleaning process. We're very pleased with the product and it's quality. Many thanks to Mark, Robin and Charlie. We will definitely be using their services again!
