Have to mention about the exceptional service I received from Billy in Romford shurgard, he was extremely helpful as I didnt have my phone to complete the registration and Billy went out of his way to facilitate the procedure and found every solutions to my problems, plus he automatically adjusted the new promotion to my next month subscription, overall, very happy to have chosen this storage

Staff have been patient and helpful throughout, from the first call back to signing the papers today

Terry was very helpful explaining everything I needed to know. The unit was very clean and tidy and facilities very easy to use.

I took all my things to the unit on move in day (it was a Sunday & offices and phone lines were closed), only to find my unit was locked and I was stuck there with all my things, I had to put them in a random empty unit until offices opened the next day and could resolve the issue. Hats off to them, they did resolve it quickly for me but it was just a headache the unit being locked on move in day. Can’t fault them any other way

I cannot trust this company. They have recently changed the terms and condition of access at the units and yet deny they have. You MUST now have a smartphone, you must have their app and you must allow location or else you cannot access. Nothing of this sort is in the contract, not what i signed up to. Also the app tells me I can continue to use the PIN code to access, sadly they have riveted a plate over the pin pad so no, I cant. See, not trustworthy. I have personally called the police when the site has been broken into. Easy to get into when busy without entering any codes. Further to this they have increased the cost of storage by nearly 50 per cent in 2 and a half years. The staff are incredibly incompetent and clueless at all levels (not to mention illiterate) unless trying to flog you more space. Maybe I expect too much from a box salesman? Gets 1 star for being on my doorstep, hence the only reason i continue to use them.

Very clear pricing, every part of the booking process and access was explained clearly, and with no delays, it was so easy it was hard to believe! It’s unusual now days for a company to do what they say they will and do it, but our move was so much easier with this all being in place! Highly recommended

Really poor experience with Shurgard Romford, namely the store manager, Terry, who is incredibly rude, unprofessional and abrupt. Terry's level of English is also not what you would expect for the role and as a result the customer service is appalling. Terry has used threatening behaviour, does not listen and talks over customers. His behaviour comes across as bullying and as a result, they have lost my custom despite paying every single invoice on a monthly basis. They lure you in with their discounted initial fees and then treat you like dirt thereafter. Totally unacceptable and no one should be made to feel like this.

All good. Very impressed with the facilities and the security. Everything explained. Communication good. Staff polite and helpful. Good value for money

The most horrible experience of my life- I was renting a space unit for 4 months, but as soon as I notified I will be closing my account- they informed me that my unit was broken into (without breaking the lock!) and all my belongings from the last 6 years were stolen. Strongly recommend to avoid this company.
