The Shipmates Group was established in 1975 by Clive Johnson close to Eel Pie Island in Twickenham. Since this time the Group has had many stores including three Musto ‘concept’ stores. We have also exhibited at most major boat shows in Europe. I ordered and paid for trainers and was issued a dispatched notification. After a few days I emailed to enquire about the status of my order.
Callum was extremely quick in responding. It turns out that the trainers, that were to be dispatched directly from the supplier, were never in stock. Callum communicated everything honestly and promptly and refunded me the full price I paid. He even offered me a gift voucher for the inconvenience which I said wasn't necessary. He had been brilliant and dealt with the situation superbly.
BRILLIANT SERVICE
Always good delivery.. Had to return my order and there was now problem.
See you at end of May.

Excellent service. I needed these shoes quickly & Callum upgraded the delivery to Courier & they arrived next day. Shoes were great price & whole transaction was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Day 9 no shoes - informed payment would be return to me
Day 9 - shoes from Pirates Cave Chandlery arrive
Day 17 - still no refund

Since placing an order and despite numerous attempt to contact about the order update - the vendor doesnt respond. I have filled charge reverse with my bank as havent received the goods and no contact was established

Gull knee pads
Purchased knee pads last minute before travelling overseas for a learn windsurfing course. Item arrived promptly. Quality product saved my knees from bruises and scrapes. Very happy with my purchase and speed of dispatch.

Average. Won't be using again.
Still awaiting my refund after over a week confirmation my delivery arrived. Good customer service when I wasn't sure where my parcel was.
Terrible shoes - one size 8 was a European 42 which usually first me great, but these were absolutely huge. The other pair was a 41 (still sold as an 8) and went nowhere near my feet!

I recently visited shipmates and just want to say what an amazing little shop in the heart of Cowes! The staff were so helpful and chatty!
I ordered a Dryrobe as they unfortunately didn’t have the size in store and it turned up quickly! Thank you! I will be back 😊

It's been almost 2 weeks since I purchased a pair of shoes and still no delivery.
The tracking information provided doesn't work and the customer service is simply appalling/non-existent. After sending 2 emails - I had one reply from a person called Callum saying that it was out for delivery and that he would update me later that day - I've chased 3 times since and still nothing.
Now that I have read through other people's reviews - this seems to be a recurring and common issue.
No delivery, no tracking information and 0 customer service. AVOID!!

Jumper for my husband’s birthday
Ordered a jumper for my husband’s birthday, delivery was very quick & the quality of the jumper was excellent, customer service has been very helpful, I would definitely recommend Shipmates.
Delayed Shipping
It took a long time for them to be shipped and ended up with me having to chase to get the order moving. Once they were shipped they were here promptly though.
