Ship Cars (Alec) has provided an excellent service to transport my car back to the UK from Italy. This is the first time I have transported a car in this way. Advice and clear guidance was given throughout the process. Alec deserves a gold medal for answering all my questions so patiently and keeping me updated on the shipping progress and paperwork! Thank you, I would certainly recommend.

I shipped my 4x4 with them i was quoted £940 ( November 2020) which i paid. Then a week after the vessel left i was told my vehicle falls into a different category and i had to pay an extra £340, But it was a standard issue 2009 Nissan Navara. The ship had already sailed, they had me over a barrel, i had no choice but to pay or they wouldnt release my documents. I felt so cheated.
Beware beware beware

Great customer service received and value for money. Was willing and very helpful with booking order online and kept me updated with shipping.

An amazing service! Everything was made so easy. It took to worry out of shipping my car.

I unfortunately had a very stressful experience with my cars being shipped to Cyprus. Nikki and Shipcars were really let down by the companies they used to export my cars.

The first company was Southern Counties Car Deliveries.

This company were supposed to collect my cars and take them 50 miles to a secure car park, until my cars were put on the ship. The first car went without issues, the second car had a tracker and I discovered they did not deliver my car to the agreed address, instead they used it for their own personal use and drove my car on a 100 mile round trip in the opposite direction to where it should have been, to the drivers home! where it was left unsecured in the street overnight. They also had the nerve to use all my fuel so my car wouldn’t even start when I collected it in Cyprus. Nikki at Shipcar did refund the cost of the delivery but I was obviously not happy.

The second company was

Cyprus Global Logistics, the company they work with in Cyprus.

Cyprus Global Logistics imported my cars incorrectly through customs, charged me extra fees not included in my quote, tried to charge me 25% of the value of each car, that I did not need to pay! but the most shocking part, they gave me the cars without the correct documents, which resulted in me unknowingly driving them illegally and the police getting involved.

As Nikki and Shipcars are now aware of this unscrupulous company, I would hope they have ceased any future involvement with them. I have filed a formal complaint against Cyprus Global Logistics.

I am aware that as an agent you have limited control over the behaviour of other companies, however it’s vital that as an agent, you work with companies who are as equally professional as yourselves.

Nikki was fully supportive throughout and had I been reviewing just Nikki, it would have been ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent service offered from Nikki and the team to transport my car from Turkey to UK. No hidden or unexpected costs. Not so easy at the port in Turkey even though I was lucky enough to be helped I don't think everyone is so lucky and you can feel like you are passed from pillar to post. A breakdown information sheet with photos of where to go and document to hand over would be helpful for others. Any help at all even after working hours Nikki was brilliant and so accommodating. I would definitely ship this way again and not always drive as cost-wise it's not much different.

The works and inspection were carried in a productive manner. However, the DVLA poor inspection scheduling for the IVA, due to COVID-19, made the affair frustrating.

I would recommend your services and would utilise next time I import a truck from North America.

Ship Cars Ltd has done an outstanding job bring my Jeep over from Texas to Southampton. They did everything from picking it up in Nashville to taking it to the port in Texas. They kept me constantly updated during the trip. I will definitely be using Ship Cars again.

Good communication. Sadly the boat didn’t leave on the date expected (not their fault) and the person who pick up my car from home to deliver it to the shipping yard drove it for 160miles. This was out sourced so again not their fault but still very disappointing. Nikki at Shipcars was amazing. Very capable and communicated really well throughout the process. I would recommend them to other people.
