With that volume, occasional operational issues can occur under normal circumstances. What is not normal is the inaccurate and misleading narrative currently reflected on our Trustpilot page. The current reviews do not reflect our business, our ethics, or our 10-year track record. They are the result of a documented competitive attack. We have been actively working with Trustpilot to address this ongoing reputational harm. However, the platform’s response has been insufficient. The same gaps in policy and enforcement that allowed this exploitation to occur continue to allow it to persist. As a result, the original harm is being extended — long after the underlying issue has been resolved. While we are shipping orders on time and fulfilling all customer obligations, the false narrative has created unnecessary customer concern. This has led to increased sensitivity around routine shipping variables, escalated interactions for our Care team, and additional operational strain as we manually review patterns of inauthentic activity across platforms. This is not a reflection of our business. It is a consequence of platform failure. The continued visibility of inaccurate and manipulated reviews is materially harming our company and misrepresenting who we are. It also impacts customers directly — creating confusion and undermining trust where it should not. We have been in business for a decade. For eight of those years — while generating millions in revenue and fulfilling hundreds of thousands of orders — our Trustpilot presence reflected fewer than ten total reviews. The sudden surge of approximately 300 reviews aligns directly with the moment we enforced our patent and intellectual property rights against an accused knockoff of our female-founded invention. We have operated with integrity since day one. That has not changed. Product I can’t live without

I preordered on Black Friday knowing it would take a few months to get, but knowing it would be worth the wait. Package finally arrived and I sadly got the wrong pattern. They let me know that I can either exchange for the pattern I wanted or keep and get an additional discount off it. The pattern was still beautiful (and honestly I just wear in shower so no one sees) so I did keep. I know it takes a while to get but I PROMISE if you don’t wash your hair every day, this shower cap is a MUST! Never thought I’d be that girl, but I can NOT live without this thing!

Sixteen Month Wait for Product

On December 9, 2022, I ordered and paid for a shower cap for a Christmas gift. After many emails, etc., it finally arrived in April of 2024. I’m glad I received it, but after the 16 month delay, and having to pay for shipping it to the gift recipient, I won’t be ordering again!!

1.5 year wait and bad customer service.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister a year and a half ago. It was finally delivered two weeks ago. This alone wouldn’t make me leave a one star review, but customer service was unhelpful at best and completely unresponsive at worst throughout the process. They never provided any information beyond “it will ship soon”, and once I asked to cancel the order they stopped responding. Would not recommend dealing with this company to anybody.

I ordered in November and just got my cap two weeks ago I understand you may have been back ordered however, I emailed you three times with zero response. I have bought two caps from you and don’t trust the company anymore since I got no response at all

Massive delays

I ordered this in November and sent three emails all which were never responded to.

I did finally get my product in April but it would’ve been nice to hear anything back.

Avoid

I purchased a shower cap (Foxy) in August 2023. I waited and waited (I think I even offered to go to the office to pick it up myself) and eventually requested a cancellation and refund. At the time I thought every response was snippy and obnoxious but I’ve since seen how the “company” interacts with customers and it’s condescending and disrespectful as well.

There were a lot of competitors in the ecosystem and fake accounts. We were defining ourselves against mistruths and defamation of the business in the midst of traumatic events.

Don't purchase

I have purchased from this company before withno issues, so I placed another order December 2022 and had to reach out numerous times to get a status being told it would be shipped out soon and after seeing multiple complaints online I gave up on receiving my order. All of a sudden on April 17, 2024 I received notification that it was shipped. I'm still disappointed at the lack of communication and the fact they're asking their customers to remove negative reviews which is the only reason I'm writing this. Don't even ask me to remove this. I will never purchase from them again due to the poor customer service.

Great products, BUT

Great products, but I've been messaging this company for over a year to correct a purchase I had made in December 2022. They sent over the wrong color and they kindly responded, however never made any moves to correct the error. I re-engaged until 12/2023, but they stopped responding so I've given up and won't be purchasing from them again.

The events of last year were a living hell (not just for our small pocket of impacted customers but also for us as a company) but they're behind us now. Wondering if you're still in business

I would like to update everyone on my review ....Just as I pressed send on this review my order was delivered. well packed and exactly what I ordered.

I placed my order on 5th December 2023 ... today is 10th April 2024 and I still don't have my order despite being informed several weeks ago that it was on the way.
You have my money and I'm wondering if you're still in business..
Very disappointing because I loved your product and thought you were definitely customer driven

Someone from Shhowercap called and…

Someone from Shhowercap called and asked me to take down my review on trust pilot but I am not going to do it. She told me all problems had been resolved but I found out that is not correct. There are still lots of women who didn't get money back or caps.
I did not get a cap and I did not get a refund from you.
My credit card took the charge off. I am not changing my review since there are still people who did not get satisfaction and the company is still trying to sell caps they cannot deliver. Also lots of what I can only believe are fake wonderful reviews. This company is in trouble and you would have to be nuts to order anything from them

Your order was requested to be cancelled before it was shipped and also refunded in full via your chargeback. Your customer issue is resolved!

While we correct the issue over all miscommunications with the associated updates for all customers - we'd appreciate if you removed your negative reporting since you're satisfied since you as a customer - as you have been so long ago. I placed an order for a holiday gift in…

I placed an order for a holiday gift in fall 2022. I didn’t receive it, and thought I perhaps forgot to submit the order, so I placed a second order. In January, I still hadn’t received either order, so I reached out to customer service.

They initially shared that the product was back ordered, so I asked for a refund (at least for one of them, since the second was a replacement order). Then they stopped answering.

I eventually got the second one (months later) but never the first, nor did I receive a refund, and CX stopped communicating with me.

I understand inventory issues happen, but treating your customers like this is unacceptable. And from their IG (and these other reviews), I wasn’t alone in this experience.

I love my Shhhowercap!

I love my Shhhowercap and have used it constantly since a friend sent me one as a thank you gift after I admired her when she stayed with me. Above all, it's highly functional and keeps my hair dry in the shower and bath. But it's also super cute! Great product and great gift!

AVOID at all costs - SCAM

If I could negative stars, I would - this company is a SCAM.
I first purchased a Shhhowercap many years ago, and I loved it - it took a while to arrive from NY to Australia, but that is to be expected. Then in Dec 2022 I decided to purchase one as a gift.
BIG MISTAKE. It's now Apr 2024 and I've got no gift and no money.
Over and over and over I've been sent "promises" of either fulfilment or refund - I have got neither. Just an inbox full of lies and bogus excuses and offensive sales tactics.
It might have been a legit company once, but as far as I can tell it's a complete SCAM.
AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Don't just take my word for it - there are many of us out there who have been conned, look at the plethora of negative reviews.
Please don't make the same mistake I did - save your money and time and shop elsewhere.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t even comment on the quality of the shower cap, because AFTER prepaying for the shower cap, I still HAVE NOT received my order….and it’s 5+months and counting that I have been waiting. I tried calling 3 times and was hung up on all 3 times. I emailed twice and never received a response. I started a live chat 3 times and was put in queue and never helped…even waiting for 8 hours on one of my attempts. I can’t even get my bank to reverse the charges because too much time has elapsed since the charge.

Ya’ll should be ashamed! Taking my money and running. Based on other reviews, I am not the only customer with this problem.
