I enjoy much of Sewing Street and I really appreciate the capped postage. I also think it’s a good idea when a whole day is dedicated to one particular genre so I f I’m not interested I can not watch. What I don’t like is when a presenter is having conversations with the gallery and it’s not relevant to the programme.

The shows are a delight with many options that I are sometimes familiar and other times new. Allowing me to stretch my creativity and build on existing skills.
When I need help, the call centre team are there, knowledgeable and friendly.

With so many local shops closed, SS is a bonus to be able to access tips and demonstrations. I always check TV guide to find out what is coming on, so I can watch what I am interested in. Items can sometimes take a while to be delivered, Customer services are always open to help.

I have been watching and buying from Sewing Street since day 1 it’s my morning viewing even when I’m travelling. I love the presenters, the guests and the demos, which they continue with even if the product has sold out! I’m an experienced sewer but have learned new techniques and found new designers by watching the shows. I have bought so much over the years and never had a problem. If I’ve had a query, the customer services have always been very helpful. The only times I have ever had a slower delivery is when it’s direct from a supplier rather than SS themselves.

I have only been sewing for a few years, discovered SS whilst off work after shoulder surgery. Boy have I fallen in love, the presenters are great craic, the demonstrators are brilliant and I have learned so much, delivery has never been an issue as I live in NI and things take a bit longer to cross the pond. My only issue was I'd only received part of my delivery on 1 occasion, due to family issues I didn't get to contact SS for about 2 months, not a problem, remainder of parcel arrived the next week. Customer service were lovely and very understanding, explained what my options might be, but would be in touch, and they were.
Love SS and recommend it all the time to anyone I get talking to about my sewing.

Great quality products. Postage was on time and well wrapped in an eco manner. Reasonable prices and good communication from Sewing Street. Customer service were prompt?, polite and friendly when I called with a question.

I've been shopping with Sewing Street since it started & have seen it grown & develop into a successful shopping channel. The presenters are fabulous & I love the interaction they have live on tv with us. My favourites being John Scott & Rebecca Reid. They have a great selection of demonstrators & products. And I enjoy the live demos, I learn so much from them. I especially love the dressmaking demos. The customer service agents are brilliant too. Always so helpful. I love being a Sewing Street customer & think it's brilliant that we have a Sewing channel. I have purchased so many products from this channel & will continue to do so. And I highly recommend giving this channel a try.

So it says you will be emailed when the package is on its way to you. I got no tracking for the whole of its journey and had to contact them directly so they could pass an estimation. When it arrived I was appauled by the box it was in hanging by a few threads of large bronze staples. The scissors box had a hole in it and had already been previously opened and the scissors themselves had a scratchy residue on them. The only part I'm happy about is that by good god the scissors do their job for the money that was paid for them. It felt a little risky trusting them and I assume it came from Brazil since the box had a logo on it for the Mundial fabric scissors.

I ordered a kit that when arrived had different colour felt to what was used on the show and wasn’t explained that you would get different colours etc. The member of staff I spoke to to ask if I had misunderstood etc was so rude and unhelpful !!! I actually had to hang up in the end as was making me very upset !

I paid £403 for a sewing machine that I am still waiting delivery on more than 3 weeks later.
Sewing Street states it was my error that Yodel cannot find the address, even though the address is correct. Yodel are not responding to telephone or live chat.
I am £403 down for nothing
I will be taking this to the small claims court

The worst customer service- I ordered a gift online which was delivered to the wrong address. I tried to track it down but couldn’t find it.
Sewing street refused to resend the item to a different address or give me a refund until they had ‘investigated’.
This was for an order under £20 so shocked I would have to wait for an investigation.
Refused to email my anything in writing regarding the investigation.
Awful and would avoid.
I would not recommend Sewing Street. Very slow service, even after emailing them to check on order it took nearly a week to send it out
Ordered 27 Nov, waited and waited for delivery of one item. Chased 10 Dec Items come from another supplier, waited and waited again. Wring item received 12 Dec. Informed SS, had to send a photo, 13 Dec they have to contact supplier. I chase on 17 Dec. A few days later, they say they need to pick up incorrect item, I can’t make the dates they suggest as I have appointments (only 3 dates offered and I can do either morning or afternoon each day) they can’t offer later dates. The correct item can’t be dispatched till incorrect item back with them. So, I’ve been charged over £160 for over a month but not the item. No compensation offered for the wait and the time spent on numerous phone calls.
I wish I had checked this site before ordering with sewing street.
I have ordered previously and thought the delivery was slow but gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again.
Ordered placed on the 1st, it's the 13th and still no sign of the delivery. 4-6days they state.
Be mindful when purchasing that you need to give plenty of time if ordering for a special occasion. I will be refusing my delivery as it was a birthday gift and now replaced so sewing street goods no longer suitable.
Also, they use Whistl who then give to Royal Mail to deliver so lots of changing of hands.
The date of the beginning of this experience began 12 November 24. They deserve no stars.
I purchased A CROP in Style XXl wheeled storage box for £99.00 five months ago. On opening, the box, the smell was unbearable. Thinking this would 'gas off' it was aired in the garage and on warm fine days outside.
Still no improvement. It has now been in the box room for over 2 months and you can smell the acrid fumes before you open the room door. This was sold as an American product but I found on receipt that it was made in India. The smell seems to be emanating from some kind of card stiffening behind the lining. When I contacted customer services I was told that they could not help me as it was past the 6 month return date, which it was not. After correcting them I received yet another email asking me to return this huge box by tracked delivery within a week at my own expense. Then they would decide if it smelled bad enough to warrant a refund. As you cannot photograph a smell, their opinion would be biased and subjective, and I will not waste more money gambling on their integrity. I tried my utmost to remedy a problem which I hoped would resolve in time (ie the noxious smell). This is not the only instance that I have had had poor support from Sewing Street. I have learned the hard way not to make impulse buys when there are "bargain reductions" on their channel - indeed many can be purchased cheaper elsewhere. Buyer beware.
BEWRARE got my order damaged bits missing treated like a criminal still not sorted over £1,000 order told them to cancel my order and close my account still no response from them and no goods and no refund so far even after telephone calls and emails
